22 years old i have had Coltis for 5 years,flair ups pretty much the whole time, i have been on Prednisone a lot this last time has been the WORSE!!! All i can say is i hate it!! i was put in hospital the 4th time steroid thou the iv for 5 days sent home got worse again back to hospital then to try Cyclosporin thou the iv and also the steroid thou the iv. Ten days later they sent me home on prednisone coming off the iv was hard the pain in my legs was unbelievable!!! finally i was sent home on prednisone,coliform anemas,salfak anemas,and salfak granuls,i thought the worst was over but it was far from it... I turned in to a complete loony,crazy women i don't even know myself anymore my poor partner and kids. Having to deal with the pain and everything eles that comes with having a flair up but then also going though the side effects of the prednisone and the coliform was unbearable, i just wanted to die! My flair up was not getting much better and i hated myself as i felt i did not know myself with the mood swings, the crazy flip outs,crying all the time.My partner has been great having to pick me up off the ground and turn the crying reck into someone half normal. I hate the moon face,weight gain, im hungry ALL the time,night sweats,sleepless nights sore teeth,I have come off it now its been 4 days, so now all i need to stop its the coliform then i will be steroid FREE!!!!! i cannot wait!! For my face to go down and to be normal and back to the good old me! I forget what shes like... Coming off the Prednisone has been hard with the leg pain,muscle aches,head aches,mood swings,nausea. Its just hard as no one around me understands what im going though or what it feels like so i just sound like a sookie cry baby or a raving loony. does anyone know how long it takes for moon face to go away??? I wish everyone luck with there battles with Prednisone, its one of the hardest things i have had to deal with. =) your not alone. stay strong and be positive even throu your lowest times.

Maybe you are 1 out of 10,000 women who are not affected by this Mirena thing. 7 months is nothing, try 1 to 2 years and lets see how you feel. Please don't waste mine or any of these real women's time writing a message that doesn't concern you. You can have your opinion about anything but when you have to put someone else down, then that's when we know something is WRONG WITH YOU!!!! Maybe yours fell out ( if your really a women) So HOLLA BACK when your a year into it and still have no problems, until then keep your nasty remarks to YOURSELF!

I have had mine in for 7 months with no problems...I think you all were pre bi polar prior to insertion...

I have all of the same side effects report it to the FDA at http://www.fda.gov/medwatch/ please report this so no one else has to go threw what we did!!!

My husband has been taking Lipitor 20mg for 1 week. He immediately became fatigued (this is a 44 year old man who has NEVER used an alarm clock in his life and now, sleeps through the alarm clock for 45 minutes until I shake him to wake up), experienced joint pain in 1 of his knees and the sme side ankle. Needless to say, he will not be taking this medication anymore. I also reported this to the FDA because I read the following online:
U.S. patients can report side effects to the FDA themselves -- by logging onto the MedWatch Web site ( http://www.fda.gov/medwatch). But few know about this option.
The FDA needs to know how bad this drug is for people. I hope more people read everything that is written here to save themselves or loved ones from the pain and suffering caused by Lipitor.

i been taking prednisone for 4 years now since my kidney transplant, and i have experienced everything that everyone eles has posted, the moon face bothers me the most it changed my face appearance and does not make me look nice anymore, i look totally different and all the side effect, frequent ER because of infections, diabetics is overwhelming too, i hope that god sees this and help well come to all of us, I wish everyone love and caring, that it well be better for all of us soon.

This ia my secon't time around,doing a did better.First time I became a hermit.Did not wanna do anything.Any one eles feel like that?The heat really does me in and I sweat so bad.I have craving for candy or anything that is fatning.And I never aet sweets before.I was a model.Cant speel I'm from Holland.I'm dizzy and fatiqed al the time.Concentrate forget it. wanna come down again.I'm at 75mg,how long will it take me.The first time I came down in 3 weeks I had to.For health resonse.Can anyone help me give me some tips in coming down.Thanks LULU,

i was just wondring is there any one eles my age taking this med?

my side effects is dizznes,heavyness of the shoulder and chests a little bit of dry cough,dry mouth and throat,sleepy all the time, itchy throat and just feeling weird each time i take it.
can anybody give me some feed back?

I get a hoarse voice and swelling of my toung only little, extreamly high heart rate, I am on ToperalLx for already raped heart rate and the Doctor is aware of this but will not change the meds. I also get sisnus infections from this med. Once my asma is undercontroal and I don' have to take Albuteral my voice and every thing eles clears up.

I have been on requip know for 7months.foor the first 2months,it seem to be ok then after awhile my legs got more restless,figged,sore,at times i can"t even walk with out using,soming to hold on to.Even my hands are starting to get figged,trimble.I can"t set hardley any more with out figgeding,my legs have move all the time and when i rub them,it doesn't help! I am haveing a bad side a effect from this or something eles is wrong.

my daughter has come down with bloody nose more often then ever ,she never had it before , they tell me its not the meds i am giong to stop and see what happens. hope they find something eles to treat asma, a carring mom

Well you might not want to give me permission to complain. I hate to complain in front of family They suport me so much so I write complaints in a book but to find some answers is nice to my questions I ask myself.I have a question for you Gypsi. The Diurex will it work while still on prednisone. You all have made me deside to give up my addiction to Dr.Pepper for water. I am filling my bottle with water three whole days now. So here I go lets see if I can lose one or two pounds. I eat a very well balanced diet otherwise. So let see if I give up my one crutch if I can see some of this weight gone. Does anyone eles suffer from fatigue but have insomnia. My husband is going to go in for a angiogram Monday so I will not get back for answers until later in the week because I also have to go to the city for a MRI. They both can not be in the same city so I will be gone until thursday. I am going to buy the Diurex I am not even sure what it is but if it will work with out interferance to other drugs I will take it, thank you for encouragement.

I HAVE BEEN ON AMBIEN FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS NOW, ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO I STARTED HAVE SIDE EFETS FROM SOMETHING WAS'NT SURE WHAT IT WAS,I TAKE OTHER MED'S FOR OTHER THINGS SO ONE BY ONE I STOPED TAKING MY MED'S, LIKE CELERBEX, AND FOLTMAX AND I CUT MY SYNTHROID IN HALF AND CUT MY PREMARIN IN HALF AND I STILL HAVE SOME SIDE EFFECTS, THAT IS I FEEL SO WIERED IN THE DAY BUT MY BODY FEEL SO RUN DOWN AND
SHAKY AND MY SHORT TERM MEMORY IS SHOT I HAVE A VERY DRY MOUTH AND MY MOUTH HURT ALL THE TIME ANDI TRYED TAKING ALL MY OTHER PILLS AWAY AND CUTTING BACK ON OTHERS AND I STILL HAVE ALL THOSE WEIRED THINGS GOING ON MY NEXT STEP IS TO STOP THE AMBIEN TONIGHT, HAS ANY ELES HAD THE FEELING AND DRY MOUTH AS I HAVE? I have been on Celexa for 2 yrs now i started out weighing 150 pounds and now i am up to 180 craving are mainly sweets!! has anybody eles have leg cramping on this medication?

I started taking Gabitril about 3wks ago, for cronic back pain. I was taking morphine and klodipin. Which helped but the doc. wanted to try something alittle less pontent.
On this Gabitril I feel worse. I feel disoriented at times, and unable to hold my head up or walk without holding on to something. I get sensations , kinda like dull , shooting pain down my face and forhead, its really hard to explain. But i hate this drug, it scares me...I am going to call my doctor today and ask to be taken off it and try something eles. I am so dizzy right now and feel like my eyes are about to roll up behing my head.............I can hardley type this message.
