Enjoyed sex symptoms and conditions

I am so glad I found this website. I've been on NuvaRing for almost two years. I've experienced many of the symptoms other postings have described such as nausea, excessive bloating, mood swings, bizarre discharge, headaches, etc. I always felt better the week of my period when I was off the NuvaRing. I just put up with them thinking I'd rather deal with this than take the pill every day. The biggest complaint that I have is how (I now know) it has affected my sex life. I've been on NuvaRing since I was married and have never really enjoyed sex during our marriage. Last night was really painful, and it was obvious that it was because of the ring. My vagina felt insensitive during sex and then crazy burning pain. I found this website because I wondered if the ring might actually be affecting my sex drive and the ability to enjoy sex. Much of what I have read confirms my suspicions. I'm done with it and look forward to feeling myself again.
