I've been on Lisinopril for about a year and a half now. I thought some of my side effects were just my bad health - tingling in my hands and arms and legs and feet. I've been in ER a time or two in fear of heart attack and they cannot usually find anything particularly wrong with me or my heart. I thought since my blood pressure was down, that this medicine was a life saver. I had no idea these side effects could be from the medicine. Especially since they were pretty mild and sporadic originally and only in the past few months have they seemed to increase almost daily. Also I had to get an ultrasound for my enlarged uterus and I believe the pressure I feel (I had no pressure just a few months ago) is due to the increased side effects of this drug. My concern is this, how do you safely wean yourself off of this junk once you've been on for years. I don't want to even take any more bp medicine - hbp will eventually kill me but feeling daily like I'm going to die at only 36 is not worth living a long life if these symptoms are all I have to look forward to. Save my heart, but give me neurological disorders? I don't think so.

Hi there I have had the mirena for over a year. I breastfed my child so therefore I had only one period after delivery and nothing since.I thought that the first year was pretty normal but I had a lot of cramps I thought they were just "period cramps" so I didn't think that much of it however in this year alone I am seeing more mood swings in my self as well as depression. I have been to the doctors more times this year I have been in my whole life. I was also seen for eczema which is a skin condition. I had it so sever that it covered most of my body. I also went to the doctors today and was told that I have an enlarged uterus and ovary I am going for an ultrasound. Oh yeah and to top all of that off I also at 22 do not have a sex drive anymore. So no sex drive, mood swings, eczema, depression, enlarged uterus and ovaries. Yeah so after my ultrasound mirena will be coming out!

hot flashes, hair loss, memory loss, bone and joint pain, seizures, hand and foot twitches, crawling sensations in arms and legs, accelerated facial aging, and chronic insomnia. I would rather deal with the pain of endometriosis than the HELL of Lupron!

I have been on both Diovan 160 mg and Diovan HCT 160 mg / 12.5 mg, started having trouble swallowing right away. After a couple years on this med suffered severe acid reflux so bad it burned through 2 prilosecs a day. I thought I was going to die of esophageal cancer. One day I forgot to take the Diovan and had no reflux. Doc switched me to a new different pill so now the acid reflux has vanished. Yes Diovan does cause acid reflux! Also joint pain, and I am wondering if it caused me to have an enlarged uterus as well, that I developed on the med. No fibroids or cancer, just hyper-uterine lining the tests revealed.
