Pounding heart about 10 to 15 minutes after taking the pill, but only lasted a few minutes. However I had steady headaches, fatigue and dizziness. Also weird dreams. I was proscribed the 30mg. Switched back in Enalapril and am now doing much better.

At about the time i started to take Lipitor (10 mg) two years ago, I started to experience severe neck pain which I attributed to spending 8 hours bending over y laptop. I went through physiotherapy, and the therapist recommended a cylindrical pillow which proved o be quite effective. However, my biceps tended to be sore when I woke up. Last week I suffered excruciating pain in the right hip joint. My doctor appeared to finally link my problems to Lipitor advised that i stop taking Lipitor immediately. The hip pain subsided within a couple of days, but a vague feeling of fatigue and dizziness persist.

Well just like many of you I am glad that I am not going crazy. I had the Mirena inserted in April and have had sever bloating continous brown "periods" to small for a tampon and extremely sore breast. When I went to my GYN and discussed bc I had said that I had heard about the Mirena and asked her what she thought. She gave me the I think it would be the best form for you.She said the first few months would be irregular periods but then they would either be very light or none at all. Well they have been light but they go on for 2 weeks. I am also experiencing fatigue and dizziness and mood swings. If I didn't know any better I would think I was pregnant. I am unable to focus well on things. Feeling absent minded klike I was during my pregnancies. I have gained some weight and I and constantly bloated. My doctor told me that I would experience some acne which fortunately has been minimal but that there were very little side effects!! Bull!! I think I am going to scheduled my removal ASAP

My doctor prescribed Lisinopril 1 week ago because my BP was high while at his offfice, but while I'm at home it is only 120"s/57 range. I take my BP 4 times a day and it has never been over 135/63. Since I started taking the drug my BP has gone down to 84/43 and I'm getting fatigue and dizziness. I called the doc and he said to stay on the med. Personally I think he is on the take and wants to get his bribes from the drug company. I quit the med yesterday and will not ever listen to a doc again. They are only greedy and want more $ in their pocket.

I am an otherwise healthy, fit 50 year old male with mild hypertension (typical reading 140/95). Was put on Lisinopril following an atrial flutter episode. While my BP was lowered (typical reading 125/83), I experienced extreme fatigue and dizziness - felt horrible, like I had been poisoned. With my cardiologist's consent, after 2 weeks I stopped and switched to Cozaar. After 3 days, I feel vastly improved. BP readings are a little higher - 125/93 this AM. I do not know if Cozaar will ultimately have side effects, but cannot imagine they are worse than Lisinopril, at least for me.

I am so glad I found this website. I have had a lot of questions answered about my husband's health issues. My husband is a relatively healthy 32 year old and has been on 5mg Lisnopril for almost 5 years for slightly high BP and has had a lot of problems since he has started taking it. The most severe problem he has experienced lately is vision loss in his eye. He started complaining in late November of Floaters and Grainy Vision in his left eye. This will last about a week and then subside only to return a few days later. The vision problems will come on suddenly and get so bad that he can't see or read out of his left eye. He sees lines, floaters, cobwebs, colors, and grainy spots. My husband went to his family doctor when it first started and was told not to worry about it.
Last week I took him to the eye doctor, who could not even see in his eye because there was so many floaters. The opthamologist immediately sent us to a retina specialist who thought he had a detached or torn retina. Well, we have been to the specialist twice and he can't find anything that would be causing this problem. We've had 3 doctors and a pharmacist tell us that Lisinopril would not cause this vision problem. Since I have found this site and read posts from others who have had the same vision problems, I am convinced that this is causing his problems.
Some other side effects he has had is memory loss, confusion, aches and pains, weight gain, headaches, fatigue and dizziness. Thank goodness he has not had the awful coughing that countless others have experienced.
Needless to say he is not taking this medicine anymore. If anyone else has had similar vision problems please contact me.

I am relieved I found this forum. I thought I had lost my mind. I started taking Warfarin sodium in the beginning of August. Since then I've experienced memory lapses, fatigue and dizziness when I roll over while lying down. Only the latter is (kind of) listed as an "official" side effect. I take 7 mgs daily and NO other drugs. Warfarin has to be the cause, but my doctor says it's not.

Hi. My name is Vicki & my husband David is a Type 1 diabetic.
David started taking 10mg. of Lisinopril daily on 7/4/04 as a preventative measure. Eventually his doctor wants him on 40mg. a day. He experienced the common side effects of a cough, fatigue and dizziness. The fatigue has become overwhelming for him and he wakes up saying I don't feel good. Not his normal happy self.
On Saturday 7/24 he woke up with blurry vision in his right eye. Later a floater appeared in the right eye. Sunday morning he woke up with a larger floater and a film over his eye. He cannot see details or read with his right eye now. His eyes were in good conditon before this.
His doctor & ophthlmologist say they have never heard of any
side effects affecting vision with this drugand want him to continue using it!
Thank you for your site and letting me know that there are others who have had similar problems.
Please e-mail me if you've had a similar problem on this drug. ******

I am a 35 year old male and was on Zestril (5 mg) for 3 years and then got switched to Lisinopril (going on 2 years) by my money hungry Rx insurance. I was also told it was the same by the pharmacy and I also/still experience the same symptoms expressed by others here which is headache, fatigue and dizziness/light headed. When I skip a day, I feel great and full of energy. So regarding side effects, this drug is not the same as Zestril. Also, Zestril is a tiny pill compared to Lisinopril at 5 mg a piece. Can somebody explain why Lisinopril is bigger?

6 MONTHS ON YASMIN. SINCE I STARTED YASMIN, MY BOOBS ARE A CUP SIZE BIGGER, THEY HURT A LOT MORE THAN BEFORE I WENT ON, LOOSING WAIT IS NO LONGER AS EASY FOR ME AS IT WAS, AND FOR 3 DAYS BEFORE MY PERIOD I FEEL SYMPTOMS OF PREGNANCY. I FEEL NAUSEA, MONO TYPE FATIGUE, AND DIZZINESS. I SAY EVERY MONTH I AM GOING TO DISCONTINUE USE AND EVERYONE TELLS ME GIVE IT 6 MONTH UNTIL YOUR BODY IS USED TO IT. THIS IS SOMETHING I COULD NEVER GET USED TO . I SWEAR THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT YAZMIN IS I ONLY GET MY PERIOD FOR 2 DAYS AND WITH MINIMAL CRAMPS. I SAY GO CONDOMS. THE PILL IS UNNATURAL AND MAKES YOU FEEL SICK ALL THE TIME. FOR ANYONE WHO'S ONLY CONCERN IS THE MOOD SWINGS. THEY GO AWAY AFTER YOU 4TH PACK. HOWEVER THE REST OF THE SYMPTOMS WILL STAY WITH YOU FOREVER LIKE LUGGAGE. BYE BYE YASMINE HELLO TROJANS.

I have been taking Doxycycl 100 Mgt twice a day for 9 days. I'm experiencing some nausea..what I didn't expect is the extreme fatigue and dizziness. I tested positive for Lyme disease and definitely want to get over that.
Not sure what to do..is this is a normal side effect of the drug? Should I contact the doctor? Don't know what to do?..
