Fatty tissue symptoms and conditions

I am so glad I found this site. I thought I was alone. I received a steroid shot from a walk in clinic in October 2008 that left a indent and discoloration to my arm, as well as a painful burning sensation. I went to my primary doctor Jan 12, 2009. I was told that this was due to improperly giving the shot in the fatty tissue instead of the muscle. I was also told that I would have this on my arm forever, there is nothing that can be done to correct it. I have been asked several times what is wrong with my arm. I have to stop wearing short sleeves, people think its a disease or something. I spoke with several lawyers and they stated that the case is too small for them to take. I don't know what to do now.

I had been taking Zocor for about five years when I developed a tingling in my feet & toes. I went to my Doctor
and he said I probably had a pinched nerve that was causing the problem. So I went t a chiropractor for about a month, but the problem got worse. Went back to my doctor and he immediately said that I had neuropathy. I went to a neurogolist had tests taken and sure enough I had nerve damage to my feet & legs with severe shooting pains and tight
muscles. I asked the neurologist what caused the problem, he said it was the statins in the Zocor I was taking. I stopped
the Zocor the immediately but the damage was done. The neurologist told me the statin break down the fatty tissue covering the nerves and could take months even years to heal. Now I was a very active 70 year ald man went to the ymca three times a week walked 3-4 miles a day, worked the weights even played golf 2-3 days a week. Well, all that has stopped. walking has become a chore. because the pads of my feet feel like they have big knots in them. But the good news is I wont give up and let this rule my life. I still work the weights and still struggle thru the pain of walking that 1 mile a day. oh yes I have started taking vitamin C for my cholesterol

I had a Kenalog injection for an allergic reaction over 7 months ago which worked like a miracle. I couple of weeks ago I noticed a large indentation in my lower hip at the injection site. It's like the surrounding fatty tissue is gone so now I have a big hole in my butt. I talked to my doctor if this could be from the Kenalog shot and she agreed it may very well be, and that I should have known the side effects when I signed the permission sheet before they administered the shot to me. I don't know what to do at this point but I am very upset and wish to seek legal action. All I want is to get it fixed. I am very self-conscious about the clothing I wear and every time I feel it, it's like a deformity. Anyone who can offer me info on taking legal action I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!

I had a Kenalog shot for my C-Section scar/keloid. I asked my OBGYN are there any side effects to this shot, he replyed absolutely "no side effects whatsoever". Since the shot I have not stopped bleeding, everyday for almost 2 months now. Also I was rushed to emergency for projectile vomiting black vomite which turned out to be blood.(I also collapsed, right after the Kenalog shot and a nurse wheelchaired me to my mom's car). Anyway I the most scary thing is the vomiting blood, which has been in my stomach since the Kenalog shot. After seeing dozens of doctors, I read the microscopic print on the drug (which was never disclosed at the time I had the shot) Kenalog creates Peptic Ulcers and Gastrointestinal Bleeding in addition to the irregular periods. Anyone with me for a class action lawsuit to stop this drug from hurting and in some cases killing people?

I received the kenalog injection in my right buttock in 10/05. I now have an indention, discoloration and tenderness of the area. I went to my doctor and was told that the Kenalog has broken down the fatty tissue and the only fix is to get fat injections from a plastic surgeon. But because it is in an area that is rarely seen by others that insurance will not pay for it.
