I think maybe you all need to consider - The side affects you mention could be because you are a woman!! The following side affects that women search for and try to find answers for are all typical symptoms that I have had all my life as a woman. Whether on birth control, off birth control, pregnant or not. My life circumstance, relationship, age all make a difference. At any given time I could blame these symptoms on "birth control" but I don't think it is that simple.
-anxiety/mood swings/erratic behaviour
-headaches
-weight gain
-cramps, water retention, swelling etc.
Anyway, I suggest you all try to be reasonable and consider other possible causes of your symptoms? Exercise, eating right, relaxation, relationship building, all of these things can eleviate MOST of these symptoms. By the way, been on Aviane and switched to Yasmin, no difference, sex drive is actually increased, feel good not symptoms if anything , better now and had serious cystic acne and is now gone.

I took 500 mg each day for three (3) days, terrible nightmares, sleep disorder, and some stomach pain. I have seven days left on the treatment. I hope with everything I've read, I can tolerate it, but it doesn't feel so good on the third day...just listening to my Dr, hope he knows what he prescribed is safe for me.

I just stopped using Nuvaring, side effects were enormous!

- Moods swings
- Constant anger
- Unstability

I was always angry at my fiance for no reason. I stopped 2 weeks ago and now I feel so good... It took only 3-4 days and I felt an ENORMOUS difference!!!

I have been taking Aciphex for approximately one month. I no longer have stomach pain and I feel so good. There is only one problem: I feel thirsthy all the time and my mouth is so dry. I have been drinking lots of water and juices. Results are that I go to bathroom very frequently (every hour). Is anyone experiencing simular symptoms?

Singulair has been my personal savior. I was prescribed Singulair for Reactive Airway, asthma caused by exposure to certain everyday chemicals, such as perfume. My doctor also said Singulair would help my seasonal allergy symptoms - stuffy nose, itchy eyes, etc. In two years, I have not had a single asthma attack and no longer need Sudafed or any antihistamine. I can mow our lawn with no watery, itch eyes and no sneezing. As for side effects, I have noticed my teeth are more sensitive to cold. I have heard some people say they gain weight after starting Singulair, however, I have lost weight. I feel so good I think I have been exercising more. At any rate I'm down about 17 lbs. in 24 months. I'm sorry some people are unable to tolerate Singulair, but this medicine has changed my life.

I am a 41 year-old man in excellent health. I have suffered from seasonal allergies and bronchitis since I was a child - mainly during April and May. Although annoying, these allergies have had little impact on my day-to-day life. In March, during my yearly physical, I mentioned to my doctor that I wasn't looking forward to spring allergy season. Because of my age, he advised me to stop using Sudafed for my stuffy nose and sinus pain. He said Singulair was approved for seasonal allergies and would also stop my wheezing. I took Singulair and saw an immediate improvement in my allergies - no stuffy nose, watery eyes and no wheezing. In fact, after about five days on Singulair, I felt fantastic. I really could not believe how much energy I had - and my endurance while running was unbelievable. After 10 days on Singulair, I also began to notice I was becoming increasingly aggressive. I would describe the exact feeling as one of extreme agitation. This manifested itself in my yelling at my family and workers at a local home improvement store. It was obvious to everyone, including myself, that something was wrong. At work, home and in our basketball league I am known for having alot of patience. After contacting my doctor I was told a side effect of Singulair can be aggressive behavior. I stopped taking the drug and decided to endure the allergy season as best I could. My wife, who teaches pharmacology at a local university said she had heard these symptoms went away with continued use. I tried Singulair again, although I experienced the same feeling of agitation, it did go away after about one month's use. Today I can report I feel the best I have in 20 years. I credit Singulair with eleminating my need for all other allergy and asthma medications. I tell people I feel so good that I can leap tall buildings in a single bound.

This medication should be used in moderation. It is very
addictive and you can really become dependant on it. I first
used it for pain but it would make me feel so good that i would
take it every morning before work because it made me hyper
and very awake!!!!! When you finally run out of medication
you start having withdrawls such as irritable, grouchie,
mean, hot flashes ect. If I had it to do over again I would
never have started taking it , however it effects people
different and Im sure it does help people if they take it
correctly.

well about eight months ago i got into a horrible atv accident were i slammed into a barbed wire fence and split my neck from ear to ear, amazingly my arterie was exactly the thickness of a paper from being touched by the wire, im only fifteen and ive gone through more than others. anyway roxicet was a drug given to me two weeks after continously taking morphen and dermatril. when they started giving me it for the first time i was pretty dissapointed beause i thought it wasn't going to take the pain like morphene, apparently i was wrong. although not as strong it gave me an extremly happy feeling inside like everything would be alright, i swear i could go up two anyone and say i love you because it made me feel so good. when i got a 500 ml bottle of it to take home i would take it and just stay in bed for four hours thinking about anything that came to my head, my entire body would just cool down and id feel so so so relaxed. if you never tried it at least you got a description of it
