Toprol XL I just started a week ago as the medicals cant get my blood pressure under control. I also take Lisinopril at 40mgs. Was told at 40mgs. of Lisinopril thats the highest dose there is (which I found is a lie from a lady I know when she told me her husband takes lisinopril XL or along those lines). Meantime..on Toprol..I cant figure how to describe it other than..when the medicals decided not to deal with my medical issues and gave me 1st Zoloft then Prozac. I had such bad reactions from them I told the medicals to deal with my medical problems dont blow me off with shrink pills! Meaning...I have the same reaction with Toprol as I did with Zoloft and Prozac...emotional, cant focus or concentrate..cant sit still..I look like crap because I cant sleep more than 5 hours or so...
Im already plump from middle aged (and I use to be bone thin at one time)..Im hungry..and yet I look and smell food and I about gag...Bits and pieces at times I can get down me though..Toast, yogurt, that kind of thing. IM tired and weak too...It takes everything I have in me just to peddle my bike 3 miles around the housing area I live. After that, I flop..
I have to pee every 2 mins too...Bad enough the pressure from fibroids on the bladder..Medicals say..Dah..they will shrink when you are finally post menopausal. ( I would love to tell that line of BS to the doctors with breast cancer or prostate cancer..see how they like it).
I am trying to give the benefit of the doubt here..give it time and see if these side effects wear off in time...But as it stands...
Between this crap and the migraine medications..IM sick and tired of not being heard/taken seriously by the medical community...Getting so Im all for alternative medicine and just let the medical doctors/FNP-C and specialists kiss my backside..

I had the Mirena inserted when my daughter was 6 weeks old, August 2007. I had no problems (that I THOUGHT were related to it) until end of July this year. I had next to no period up until then and then bled for nearly 3 weeks straight. Went to the doctor who said I had a miscarriage...ok so let's take it out, it obviously doesn't work for me and go back to the pill which I had been on most of my life when I wasn't pregnant with any of my 5 children. After 3 weeks of being on the pill I had it removed on 9/10. No pain at all actually but haven't stopped bleeding since! Went back to the Dr on 9/23, felt my uterus and said seemed fine. No fibroids or polyps that he could feel. Changed my pill Rx and said it should straighten out within the next 2 cycles, if not come back...on 10/5 I went back without an appt and was told by the nurse to double up on my pills to try and stop the bleeding. I scheduled an appt to see the Dr the following am. Had an internal ultrasound done and a biopsy of the lining of my uterus. Results should be back on Tuesday... my Mom & Sister told me to look online about side effects with the Mirena and I found this page. I am comparing many of the things I have been experiencing and now realize perhaps they were ALL related to the IUD. I gained weight (am actually heavier then I was after my daughter was born and I lost all my pregnancy weight within the first month), I had terrible acne, headaches, back & neck pain, constant fatigue, emotional, decreased sex drive. It has been out 4 weeks today and although my acne has improved slightly, I feel like I have been on the brink of the flu since last Saturday, no motivation, pure exhaustion, and emotional roller coaster not to mention the cramping from my biopsy that probably wasn't necessary now I'm thinking and 4 days in a row home from work... I am hoping time will heal the way I feel once the hormones adjust themselves. The pill always helped me more then it ever hurt me. I'm glad I got the Mirena out as soon as I did. Just wish I would have known sooner what it was really doing to me!

I just had my first shot of Lupron yesterday. I have an oversize uterus and will need to have it removed. I am 40 and do not plan on having any more kids, so that is cool. I am taking the shot to shrink my fibroids down to have the less invasive surgery because they are extremely huge at the moment. The same day I took the shot, I felt extremely drowsy and had to lay down to take a nap. I woke up and felt full of energy. The next day, slight tension in the neck and headache but that is it so far. I have some Premarin Estrogen tablets to take just in case of the hot flashes and night sweats but I am not taking those things unless I have to. I already had severe hot flashes and night sweats before all of this, so I am use to it..so its not a big deal..I also already had severe mood swings, extremely lethargic, and bouts of depression before all of this, so I really want notice the difference. So, so far, so good. I am not experiencing any side effects from the shot as of yet that I was already going through, anyhow..Each person is different..

I have been on both Diovan 160 mg and Diovan HCT 160 mg / 12.5 mg, started having trouble swallowing right away. After a couple years on this med suffered severe acid reflux so bad it burned through 2 prilosecs a day. I thought I was going to die of esophageal cancer. One day I forgot to take the Diovan and had no reflux. Doc switched me to a new different pill so now the acid reflux has vanished. Yes Diovan does cause acid reflux! Also joint pain, and I am wondering if it caused me to have an enlarged uterus as well, that I developed on the med. No fibroids or cancer, just hyper-uterine lining the tests revealed.

I just turned "51"
I've been on Yasmin for the past 5 years.
I never have been on a birth control pill in the past as when I was a young teen I tried and couldn't handle the first side effects.
I have had a lifetime of the most HEAVY periods. I have to stayed glued to the toilet on my first two days.
I was diagnosed 20 years ago with ITP where blood platelets deplete. I thought my periods were so heavy because of this. I just couldn't take it anymore so my DR put me on Yasmin.
Yes at first my boobs were big and sore. But after 3 months I thought I had died and gone to heaven with a better life. Period so light.
BUT:
I've gained 40 lbs over this time frame. I look pregnant with the tummy Bloating. I've just had the most thorough physical, ultra sound for fibroids and everything came back normal except which never had previous: Borderline high Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure.
So, I've been power walking and never eat anything bad. ???? so why can't I loose even a pound?
Back in November I went off Yasmin for a month and had a period that hemorrhaged! So I went back on Yasmin. But I'm bloated now more than ever. I know it is the hormone changes.
I'm hooked on Motrin for my headaches which is like a sinus ache in my hear.... weird headache.
BUT: Hmmmmm I've had arthritic symptoms in my joints just over the past 4 years, severe Dry Eyes in the morning. All I googled is Bloated all the time and got Yasmin.
I'm in between pills and seriously think I need to just put up the the bad bleeding and get off the Yasmin. It is like quitting coffee, the headache is because of stopping the pill. I took one pill today even tho I have my period right now. My head is clearing up and I am feeling better.
I Don't think it is just Yasmin I REALLY BELIEVE WE ALL HAVE THESE SYMPTOMS WHEN THE HORMONES ARE IMBALANCED.
I Loved Yasmin for giving me back a life. But I'm so BLOATED right now I've got to try going off.
I do not take any other drug. I did a Candida cleanse but it didn't elevate the Bloating.
I will keep you all posted........

I am 39 year old who has had problems with hormones since I got my first period (12 years old). Heavy bleeding, thinking for sure "I was going to die every month" cramps, having to stay out of school for 2 to 3 days a month. I thought after having children(which I was told by doctors) my hormones would get regulated. They did not. Four years ago I was diagnosed with fibroids and got a partial hysterectomy and having no more periods. The doctor put me on hormonal pills(not Yasmin) and I was having problems breathing. So I suffered with a lot of the symptoms listed here until last year September when they found a cyst on the ovary that was left. So I wound up having a full hysterectomy and was put on the Yasmin pill. In the beginning I would get sick on my stomach really bad and I stopped taking them. But, because I was I am full menopause, I swear I was going thru some serious, serious mood swings. So I got back on the pill and started breaking them in half for a month to get my body used to them and now I can take the full dosage. I personally am so happy with this product. My acne has cleared up tremendously and my mood swings are intact. I still may have a few instances if my husband or kids push me to far, I'll let them know in my own way. But it is not as bad as it could be without these pills. I feel bad for those who have really bad reactions to them, but maybe taking half doses until the body gets used to them might help.

I am in the middle of my second month after getting the first shot (for 1 month) and the second ( for 3 months). I have recurrent fibroids and ovarian cysts that caused a lot of pain and severe bleeding.
I was scared to try Lupron. I consulted with my uncle who is an OB/Gyn and he told me that the version they use now is very safe, with side effects like many other drugs...
My doctor gave me options for the treatment, but because I want to get pregnant again (already have a 2 1/2 yr. old boy), hysterectomy was out of the question. The doctor removed some of my fibroids laparoscopically before I got pregnant with my son, but since they "showed up" again, he recommended to treat them with Lupron instead of removing them trough surgery, because the surgery leaves scarring that can later interfere with fertility.
Anyway, YES I have experienced many side effects mentioned here: hot flashes, mood swings, a couple of headaches, and some "bloating". The worst side effect for me has been insomnia...but they really haven't been that terrible...you learn to deal with them. I am in no pain and didn't get my period this month.
I guess everybody is different and they experience everything in a unique way.
My suggestion is to try it if you really need it and weigh in the pros and cons objectively.
Good luck!

DO NOT GET MIRENA! I am only 24 and mother of a 16 month old beautiful baby girl. I decided to have Mirena put in 2 months ago. The insertion itself was extremely painful, after being told it wouldn't hurt. I bled for a couple weeks after. Everything seemed fairly normal according to symptoms of insertion. Then, a couple weeks ago, I noticed I was having a lot of pain during sex. This progressed into severe lower ab (mainly on the right side) and back pain. I was sent to ER by my OB. They did a pelvic exam and couldn't see the strings thus an ultrasound was ordered. The IUD was there but so was fluid within my pelvis. They told me I had Pelvic Inflammatory Disease PID. I was put on 2 antibiotics and vicodin and sent home. I made a follow up with an OB the next day (mine was on vaca.). I asked him if the IUD caused the PID and of course he said no. I also asked if he suggested I remove the IUD and again he said no. I opted to anyways. The removal was worse than delivering my 9lb 5oz baby. I was crying, screaming and shaking. The Doc kept asking "Oh, does that hurt?" Eventually I yelled "No, it feels good!" He finally removed it told me take my meds and left. I've been bleeding since (that was a week ago) Well I reported him. Either way, after 4 days of antibiotics i was still in severe pain, very very tired and nauseous. So I called my OB and they admitted me to the ER. I had to stay on IV antibiotics for two days. I left the hospital a little sensitive in the pelvis but for the most part pain free. I was and am still just soooo tired and have waves of nausea. I lasted two days pain free and last night the pain returned. I am still on a round of antibiotics which should be done in a few days. I also am very bloated, have sore breasts, increased appetite regardless of the nausea, and peeing a lot. Not sure if i now have a bladder infection but it sure feels like pregnancy symptoms. They did preg. test in ER but came out neg. i think its too soon to tell. nevertheless I am scared and traumatized! I don't know what to do. I have a follow up in 2 weeks with OB. hopefully pain will subside and symptoms are just from PID. Any insight would be helpful....but please don't get the mirena! I am now afraid of my future....i want another baby some day but am unsure of how much damage has really been done.

I was going to have mirena placed today with the intention of stopping my period and in turn hope to shrink the existing fibroid I have in my uterus. I had removed them once four years ago and now they returned and have been giving me some bad days in between periods. This is one of the possible method I can try that is recommended by my gynae so I won't have to go through another surgery again. However, after reading all your reports and experiences, I surfed the internet for more information and found this site.
******
Please read it. I find it extremely useful. Now I know (saved myself some money and possible hell) that I am not a candidate for mirena. For those who are thinking of opting this method of contraceptive, read carefully before deciding and for those who already have it, now you know why you are experiencing what you are experiencing.
I hope this will help some of you if not give you peace of mind that we are NOT crazy when we tell the doctors and our partners that we are not ourselves sometimes. God bless.

Unfortunately I've had to stop the Lupron injections. I lost my job and with that my health insurance. I am wondering can anyone tell me when I can expect my period to start again?
November 6, 2008 was my last injection and it was a 3 month dose. It is May 2009, I am 39 years old and I have not yet had a period. My fibroids ae back to their large abdomen filling size so I am very worried.
Not having insurance or adequate funds has reduced me to the internet for research first before venturing out to a doctor as a "self-pay" patient.

Last year I had so much pain that I ended up in the emergency room twice. I was tested for everything and finally my doctor send me to the lab for an ultra sound. I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts and small fibroids. I was scheduled for a surgery and I was diagnosed with endometriosis on January 20, 2009 by laproscopic surgery. The doctor said my endometriosis is severe and the adhesions are all over my ovaries, bowel and bladder. I had another surgery march 3, 2009 to remove an ovarian cyst and endometrioma. The surgery was suppose to take 3 minutes or so and ended up taking 2 hours. The organs were stuck down so bad that the doctor ended up having to remove my right ovary and fallopian tube. The doctor scheduled me to start LUPRON on April 15, but after reading the comments here, I have decided not to try lupron. I am not in any pain now from my endometriosis, so I prefer to weigh my options. I ordered many books on the natural treatment of endometriosis and will try that avenue. I suggest that you read and research before trying any drugs, because at the end of the day we will be the ones suffering not the doctors.

I had Fibroid tumor surgery three years ago. The fibroids came back and to prevent from having surgery. The doctor thought that the nuvaring was a good idea to help with the cramping and excessive bleeding. I been on the nuvaring for three months. At first, I liked the nuvaring. Now the nuvaring is irritating me. I cant douche, wear a tampon, or have sex without hurting afterwards. When its time for my cycle; oh my god; the stomach cramps are terrible. I have been depressed; wondering about how am I going to pay for my wedding in 05/30/2009. I was so surprised from the comments I have read that women are having the same problems Im having.

I am so glad that I found this site and to see that there are other women out there who are having problems with the Mirena. I thought it was just all in my mind! I had the Mirena inserted in February 2008. Started having problems with high BP when pregnant with first baby and when I went back on pill after his birth BP wasn't doing any better. After having my second child, I contemplated about Mirena vs. having tubes tied. My OB said the Mirena was the perfect thing for me and was pretty much like tubal ligation, but without the surgery. I had no problems when Mirena was inserted..just bleeding (seemed like forever for me to stop bleeding) and the normal dizziness. For the first three months, I never knew when my period was going to be, but I just kept remembering what my OB said "your periods will be like nothing after the first three months." My periods did get a little better...however not the "light" or spotting periods. After the first three months, I started noticing that my hair was starting to fall out more but thought it was part of postpartum. I started feeling really tired, skin started to break out, felt depressed, my mind was racing, couldn't sleep, had problems remembering things (simple things), migraines got worse and more frequent than what they used to be before, moody, agitated, had chest pains, nausea in the morning (at one point I thought I was pregnant again!), stomach pains, diarrhea/constipation, kept having vaginal discharge (like when you are pregnant), came down with bacterial vaginosis, UTI's were somewhat common,no sexual desire and my BP was out of control. Seven months after having Mirena inserted, I started having sharp pains near right ovary. I had problems with cysts in right ovary before and had them removed so when the pains started, I had a hunch that most likely it was another cyst. My OB closed her practice so when I went to new OB for annual pap, I mentioned all the things I was experiencing including suspicion of cyst. I told her I had been experiencing all symtoms since Mirena was put in. She told me that she has never heard of the Mirena to cause symptoms like these. Told me that perhaps I was still having effects of postpartum and that my body was trying to get "back to normal" and get used to Mirena. Had all these blood test done and everything came back normal. I did have a cyst on right ovary and was told that it should go away within 2 months. Just had a follow-up ultrasound today (2 months later) and cyst is still there along with other cysts on right AND NOW left ovary. Most of the time, I am in a lot of pain especially on the right side. I was told to just take Motrin for the pain, but that nor heat packs work at all. I am really considering to have the Mirena taken out. I REALLY believe that the Mirena is the cause of my cysts. Is there anyone out there who have gotten cysts while with the Mirena? And has anyone experienced having no problems with cysts after the Mirena was taken out? Since finding out that I have multiple cysts on both sides and knowing that my doctor will probably tell me they will eventually go away on their own (first one is less than 2cm and others are smaller), I don't know if it is even worth keeping the Mirena in. I hate having all these symptoms...I just want to be "normal" again. BUT, IT IS VERY COMFORTING TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE OTHERS WHO ARE OR HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME. Now I can tell myself that it is not all in my mind and I am not going crazy!

I went from a rational non-emotional women to a crazy person!!! I feel awful. I would rather have pain than feel this way. I can't sleep though constantly fatigued. Achy body, headaches. Everything tastes like cardboard so I'm not eating well though I have gained a few pounds. I am severely emotional. I almost left my husband this weekend whom I adore, can't stop crying, very depressed and irritable. I want nothing more than to be alone and sleep, which no one can live that way. I am a mother of 3, a wife, and have a full time job. I can't function properly. I will never undergo hormone treatment after I get through this! I am currently on Lupron, just had laporoscopy 2 weeks ago for the 5th time all for endometriosis and I'm only 25. I started Premarin today to assist this anxiety and mood swings. Wish my family and I luck.

I believe nuvaring caused me to have a severe affect on my endometriosis.
I experienced a terrible bruising in the bottom of my stomach (where the endometriosis is). I could barely walk for a few days. I my doctor prescribed nuvaring because I was experiencing heavy bleeding from fibroids. After few months of being on birth control, I found myself having surgery with my uterus being doubled in size by the fibroids. I believe instead of shrinking my fibroids, birth control increased the fibroids in size. Lastly, I suffered from high blood pressure. At times my head felt like it was going to explode.

I was diagnosed with seven fibroids, with some the size of a golf ball. My doctor was talking about a hysterectomy, I'm 52, but I opted instead for Lupron. Before I couldn't bend over and had a lot of pain in my stomach. I am going on my third shot, and yes, I have gained weight. And I am tired a lot, but these small side effects are nothing compared to the pain i was in before. I am also taking a give back hormone pill that helps with the bone loss and mood swings. I have not had any of the other problems that others seems to have. I am hoping this will shrink them so no surgery is necessary.

I am schedule for a lupron shot on thurs w/my surgeon. I have large fibroids which causes the usual problems, bleeding, etc. I curretnly have lower back and hip pain already due to the size of the fibroids. I am scheduled for a hysterectomy after putting it off for years. My surgeon suggested the shot stating that it would help with shrinking the fibroids and make my surgery easier lap vs. abdominal. Reading this site is truly scarring me I already live with some pain already and have a family history of depression. I have a career I love and make a 4 hour daily commute and it sounds like my life will truly be altered if I choose this. Help!!!

I am not too happy w/ Loestrin --- at first it was great, very light periods for 4 days, and I knew when they were coming, but in the last three months, like soo many of you, I haven't felt like myself --- I've had yeast infections that are crazy, and I've had chest pains, and now, abdominal pain --- my gyno thinks it might be either fibroids or an ovarian cyst --- 6 months ago, I was experiencing none of these things! I know it the pill --- I made a decision to take myself of it b/c I know my body better than anyone else, and get this, I just had my period last week, my second day off the pill, I am bleeding again.
I'm going to just use condoms and be diligent about it.

I too decided to have the mirena inserted on November 5th. I am a 32 year old divorced mother of one 10yr old boy. I have had years of heavy bleeding extreme PMS and cysts and fibroids. After years of birth control pills my Gyno suggested the Mirena. Like many of you I thought the procedure was beyond easy, it felts almost as painful as childbirth again! I had serve cramping and moderate bleeding afterward. My Gyno was concerned it was not positioned correctly, So he ordered a ultrasound right then and it came back fine , position good and no peforated uterus, thank goodness! I am still having some of the same side effects as so of you almost a week later. The bleeding has gotten lighter, the bloating is there and tiredness . Now I have the migraines which suck. However I go back in a month to recheck so I will give it til then and decide. All and all so far not as bad as some of the birth control I have in thepast!

I just want to thank all of you on this blog and other blogs. I was going to start this pill for pms and pmdd. I feel like I have the flu when I have my period. I am so exhausted. Bleeding is not so bad, cramps could kill me but thank god for alive and Advil. I started to get headaches about 2 years ago during my period or a few days before and sometimes the aleve and Advil don't help it even though they help my cramps. I am a group fitness instructor and don't want to feel sick or be unable to teach my classes. But after reading the side affects that could happen forget it. About 20 years ago( i was 18 then) I was on pills and had severe panic attacks and was hospitalized for a week. They couldn't directly pin it on the pill but trying it a year later and having it happen again I never took them again. I was assured by my gyn that pills have changed and that I would be fine on loestrin24 but I just can't chance it. I would say to the people who have severe bleeding and prolonged bleeding, fibroids or other problems, find a pill that can maybe help you. But for those of you who just need it for birth control and are having these problems, find another method. It is not worth it if you loose you sex drive, have mood swings and depression or any other of the horrible things I read can happen. And if you are predisposed to panic and depression, I wouldn't take it after reading all these complaints. The bad is outweighing the good on all the blogs I have read. Thanks again and good luck ladies!!

Ok. I am really not sure what is going on. I am fairly new to birth control and Loestrin. I am taking birth control for my fibroids. I have been taking it at the same time every night (Except for last night...I forgot to take them) and I noticed earlier today that I am about to start my period, but I am still in 3rd week of the white pills. This is really crazy and I am not sure why I am getting my period in the 3rd week and I never know how long this will last. This is my second month on Loestrin and I thought that I would get my period during the brown pill days. Can anyone please explain... I have no clue what is going on with my period right now.

I had Mirena inserted April 28/2008 and just had it removed in the hospital September 13/2008. Within the four months I had it in place I developed cysts and fibroids in my breasts, depression, headache, joint pain, back pain, 'Unexplained' swelling and extreme irritation in the vaginal region, weight gain (with no appetite), and had little to no energy or interest in sex. I was recommended Mirena by my OB/GYN because of my heavy periods, cramping , history of endometriosis and presently adenomyosis. As many others have duly noted it did nothing but make the periods worse with next to no break in between ( I was lucky if I had a couple days). Because of this I'm now on prescription strength Iron supplements. My OB/GYN suggested one more treatment with another method "Ablation" before we go ahead with the hysterectomy.

Hello everyone
I am so glad that I ran across this page. I was on the NuvaRing, a little over a year ago & I only stayed on the ring for 2 months due to side effects, burning in the vagina, discharge..things like that. I gave it up along with all bc. It was the end to a long game of switch the bc, everything is making me crazy, lol. Well last month I went to my ObGyn and after almost a year of only 2 weeks between my period and heavy spotting..and no BC to blame it on, I was told that I have 3 fibroids and a small ovarian cyst. I was also told that we should try bc..to maybe help the spotting and other issues. I am really bad with the pills..I set alarms, keep them in the purse..still don't take them, Not to mention I get soooo sick with them. Did the patches and felt like I was crazy after a year and half..I mean leg pains, depression..damn near every side effect..you can think of. Dont want implant or depo so went back to the ring. Ne way the Dr. said that the issues I had the 1st time with the ring..could have been from a yeast infection or vaginal infection and that I should try it again.
It has been 2 weeks and and the vaginal issues are not bad..sometimes I feel a little something thats not normal..but I can deal with that. The emotional issues are my problem. I have been with my BF for 2 years..we have not had a rocky relationship, problems with cheating or anything else. Nothing more than the usual couple spat.. everything is good, well was good. I feel like an emotional time bomb..yesterday I started a huge debate over him not giving the average girl credit for being beautiful (which he tells me I'm pretty and sexy and all that good stuff!) and praising these women on tv and in magazines (which he didn't do, I asked him if he thought a girl was cute..he didnt want to answer, for fear it would backfire on him, but I told him it was ok..and then tore into him 4 no reason). I feel like I am not sexy enough..pretty enough, this was not an issue before. I feel depressed, I just made a huge to-do list for goals in life..was so hype about it..now nothing..its whatever. Everything is whatever. I have no mojo about ANYTHING. I don't even want to read..and that abnormal. I feel paranoid about things that were never issues..like is he cheating on me..& nothing has changed in his behavior to make me think this way! I am worried that by not taking the bc, I will suffer from my issues from before. I haven't been on the ring long enough to know if its gonna help my issues, like the crazy 2 week bleeding spell and having cramps, but in seeing how its effecting my mood..I don't know if I can wait to see! I feel bad..really really bad. I wish that BC did not have to be so crazy on your body! Its like damned if I do damned if I don't!
Thanks ladies for being so open and honest..good to know I am not the only one..or just making myself think something is wrong when its not..because there is.

Irregular periods; bleeding that lasts more than 8 days. For example, my most recent "period" lasted 8 days! I had 4 days of no bleeding, then began bleeding regularly for the next 3 days (and still bleeding). I began using Jolivette to help control my periods due to multiple fibroids but so far I've been bleeding more often than not. I'm not sure if I need to continue taking it for the side effects to lessen, but I'm seriously considering stopping it. I can't take anything with estrogen so my options are very limited.

I had Mirena put in January of this year, I am 49 years old. I did not need it for birth control as my tubes are tied. I was having very bad perimenopausal symptoms so my doctor suggested I try it for the hormones. I was still having heavy periods 8 months later. A little over two weeks ago I had a complete hysterectomy so obviously the Mirena is gone! I was and am having HORRIBLE joint pain as others have posted. I feel like I am 100 years old some days, my legs and shoulders and hips hurt the most. I read that the Mirena hormones are contained in a steroid reservoir, whatever that means, does anybody know? I have been on steroids before and this is exactly the same reaction I had, hip and joint pain so bad they had to take me off. Well anyways, I am glad it is out of my body but my question to anyone is, once you had it removed, how long did it take for the joint pain to subside????
