My son is 8 and he has been on singulair for at least three years, maybe four. When I heard about the side effects a few weeks ago, I stopped his medication right away. I have since learned that it should be tapered off, but won't put him back on to do that. He had so many of the depression, I hate myself, everybody hates me, facial tic, stomach ache symptoms . . . Now he is almost two weeks off of singulair and he is throwing screaming fits, kicking, threatening, uncontrollable for up to two hours and more! Is this a side effect of coming off of the medication? Has anyone else had this experience? Please email me at amy-weaver4@sbcglobal.net - I'd really like to hear if anyone else has experienced these symptoms. Thank you! Amy

I was taking Lamictal (600 mg) for 8 years and had 2 minor seizures per week. I was able to read, write, good memory, think and talk properly.
My doctor added Depakote(750 mg/day) to control seizures. My seizures almost stopped in 4 weeks. However my body started shaking all day so much that I am unable to write and eat food properly.
I like to know if shaking of my body is the side effect of Lamictal with Depakote..

The first day I didn't notice anything. The second day I had a build up of energy as the day went on so I went for a 5 mile walk to burn some of it off. Generally I had more energy, but I had severe anxiety as well. Circumstances triggered my anxiety, however, my physical response was out of proportion to my thoughts. My heart felt like it was going to explode out of my chest. I kept saying to my husband, "I don't know why I am reacting this severely." By the way, I had no idea that wellbutrin caused anxiety. My doctor told me there were minimal side effects. I took her word for it. I did no research on it. I started out with samples that the doctor gave me. When I had my first prescription filled, it was then that I read about the side effects. I also had severe insomnia in the first month. I currently have extremely shaky hands especially when I do activities that require fine motor skills. I had mild dizziness which is gone now. Nothing too severe though. By the way, I am on 150 mg.

I am taking prednisone for BOOP, a condition that causes pneumonia. The worst side effect I have had so far is my hands shaking. I am unable to perform many simple tasks requiring fine motor skills. Has anyone else experienced this? I have never seen it listed but I asked my doctor and he said it was a side-effect.

I started taking REGLAN for gastropoesis 5 months ago. Since I have been tested for MS due to my side effects from REGLAN. Thousands of dollars in medical bills. Symptoms included, numbness and tingling in the extremities and face, forgetfulness, muscle weakness, fatigue, depression, anxiety, insomnia, loss of fine motor skills, confusion, muscle rigidity, etc. I quit taking REGLAN last night hoping that there is no permanent damage. Anyone have any hopeful conclusions?
