Have been on Levoxyl for the past two years and have been having EXTREME hair loss. Would like to hear from anyone having this side effect who has had success with an alternative treatment....either a different drug or an alternate treatment such as Armour, etc. Is coming off Levoxyl cold turkey as dangerous as everyone says it is?

ok so all of you who are not getting the results you desire take notice: YOU HAVE NO IDEA WTF YOU ARE DOING!! before you go shoving some chemical into your body to get fats and easy results you need to get educated. Anabolics are not for amateurs. if your diet/nutrition isn't right, you are going to have problems. if your workouts aren't right, you're going to have problems. by problems i mean you are not going to get the desired and intended result and yes you could seriously screw yourself up. first thing is first you need to understand that regardless of whether or not you use anabolics if you are unwilling to put in hard work and dedication to a fitness lifestyle you will never get quality or lasting results. you are an idiot if you begin a cycle without immediate access to proper post cycle therapy meds in order to come off the stuff safely and effectively. if you are going to use a chemical you nedd to undrstand the complexities of what you are putting into your body and how to manage it in order to get the desired effects and avoid undesired effects. Winstrol has a short half life so if you're not hitting it everyday and your not stacking it with a longer acting chemical to sustain your hormone levels then you are going to experience the negative sides such as a decreased sex drive, or erectile dysfunction or depression. if you don't manage your diet to ensure you are getting the extra nutrient support that you need to keep up with the increased rate at which your body is now utilizing those nutrients then you are going to experience a litany of problems that would normally be associated with malnutrition because that is what you are; malnourished. so before you go pumping some chemicals inot your body and screwing yourself up and giving anabolics a bad rap and ruining it for the rest of us who know WTF we are doing, you need to get educated, and i mean you need to know as much if not more about this stuff than your doctor. you need to get educated in regards to your nutrition, like you need to be a F'n dietition. and you need to get educated about fitness like a flipping personal trainer level of education. if you don't take vitamin and protein supps then you need to get at it way before you ever start on anabolics so that your body is so saturated that you can taste the vitamins in your sweat and then when you do go on the anabolics you need to up your dosage to twice a day. newbies stay away from the test and the winnie and the hard core stuff. just get yourself some Dbol and some nolva take 50mg dbol and 10mg nolva twice a day, because dbol is only active for about 12 hours, so if you take it at 7 am, by 7pm you will have no sex drive and be a moody bitch. It'll keep you from flippin your lid as typically one of the sides is a sense of well being, kinda like being on prozac maybe and is a good beginner drug with only positive sexual side effects. train hard, eat right, rest right. you'll have some water weight but it should be mild with the nolva. you'll feel good and after about 6 months you need to cycle off the dbol using clomid for 8 weeks while maintaining your nolva dosage. you start out 200mg clomid everyday (split doage) and every 2 weeks decrease by 50mg until you are done with it. continuing your workouts you should be able to get you body's natural hormone back to work w/ min withdrawal symptoms. next cycle get some more dbol and nolva and up your anty to a simple blend like sustanon 250mg a week. it's a great kick the day you inject it and it is good for up to 2 weeks in your system. since it is still active for two weeks after injection there is no point in hitting your recovery cycle until two weeks after your last injection. Tren is an awesome chem to use if you can get some real tren that is. the best way to make certain you are getting good tren is to make it yourself using finaplix tabs and a home brew kit you can get on the web. the injection stings like a mother the day you take it and if you get a good heavy dose you may have a coughing fit which can be kinda scary the first couple of times, feels like you inhaled a glass of water, but the day after your injection your injection site is usually pain free and ready to work which makes it great for changing up your injection sites to control scar tissue buildup. it will get you ripped fast. you will be hungry constantly and be able to tear the hell out of your local buffet. i highly recommend stacking it with the dbol again if for nothing else but to counteract the mood and sexual sides. the sexual side effect i have encountered is simply an inability to orgasm (blue balls), which can have it's uses but believe me when you haven't had an orgasm for a month and you are giving it all you got it can get kinda frustrating. Testosterone on the other hand has a tendency to give you both a high sex drive and unfortunately oversensitive orgasm (hair trigger). so you can see that stacking test with tren will make you girl or girls very happy. anyway that is all i am giving you jokers. i leave you with this thought: think about getting your head out of your ass before you go sticking a needle in it.

So heres the deal ladies.... No matter what, ALL BIRTH CONTROL SUCKS........... But we're ALL in the same boat. They ALL have side effects, different to each person. My Nuvaring story goes like this... I have tried EVERY birth control only to have HORRIBLE MIGRAINES. So, after years in my 20's of constantly thinking I was pregnant, freaking out all the time which is what I think has psychologically screwed me up the most, I tried Nuvaring. I was 27 years old, 5'5, banging body w/ NO fat in the mid-section. I'm not even kidding that w/in 3 days I gains 10lbs. of fat(love handles) in the mid section. I work out 3-4x per week and have ALWAYS been a fitness fanatic. I have never been able to get this stomach fat off since. But here's the deal......... I could go on forever about how BC sucks as I had MANy other side effects, nausea being number one. But we don't have a God damn choice. I am now 31 years old and thats just the way it is. You know, heres even the more real deal. When I was in college I gave a speech on MALE contraception. Hello, it's out there. But they don't market it because it will be a waste of money because men are stupid and won't take it. Men assume that all women when we have sex are on BC and they could give a shit if we aren't. We need to stand up as women and make THEM take all precautions. For the most part, I wouldn't change being a woman for anything. I love it! But when it comes to birth control and constantly having to worry about pregnancy, it sucks................................ But we dont have an option, seriously!!!!!!! What's worse??????????? Losing your mind because of side effects or losing your mind constantly thinking your pregnant??????????????????????????????? After 31 years of age, I know it's just a no win situation........... J., Chicago......

This is my first month on this pill, and i started my period two weeks before i was suppose to start. I've had AWFUL mood swings, and there have been a couple of sleepless nights due to cramps. My periods usually last no more than a week, and I've been on it for close to two weeks, and might I add that it is VERY heavy. My face hardly ever breaks out ( knock on wood ) and now its broken out everywhere! Randomly throughout the day, I feel like i could just collapse at any given time. I got on the pill to regulate everything, not make it worse. Hopefully this is just my body getting use to it!

Hi... I started using Jasmin a month ago. The primary reason for starting Jasmin was PMDD. Prior to taking it I was showing symptoms of PMDD, mild depression, hopelessness etc etc... since starting Jasmin I have not had the huge emotional swings but I seems like I have become very angry and have little interest in much at all. I too have also noticed I'm beginning to put on weight and my stamina for fitness has dropped considerably. I am very tired all the time, my eyes are quite dry and I have started getting cramps at night when I am asleep. I have been off any birth control for the last 8-9 years and was anxious to start taking BC again due to side effects...after reading all these posts I am thinking strongly about coming off Jasmin. But then how do I combat the PMDD ? The pill was also a way to be able to stop my menstrual cycle to help combat endometriosis...

paragard is the IUD that I have-I don't know why it's not listed on here--but here goes---i got the copper iud and it has zero hormones in it! so you don't gain any weight and i have actually lost weight by having it! it has its downsides though--heavier periods that last about 7 days--give or take--i have not had any break through bleeding between periods. you will cramp before you start but midol will take care of it. i'd like to add that in my case, the first period i had was about like the ones i have now but it felt like i was literally having contractions that came about 10 min. apart---though i haven't ever had kids--it hurt!!!! but that was the only time and i have had it for 3 years--i think its like a foreign body that your uterus isn't used to--but it stopped after a few days so don't worry---and you may not ever have that happen so --unlike the mirena--you don't gain weight--hope this helped a little for anyone interested.

I had my Mirena Coil taken out 6 weeks ago, i had it put in in 2005 - it has been the most horrific four years of my life, i have never been to the Doctors so much as i have in these years, in fact i was so poorly i gave up working due to illness in September 2008. I had horrific abdomen pain, swelling of the stomach, but most of all the lower back pain and not being able to walk properly, just a shuffle most days, which in turn affected me mentally (i used to be a fitness fanatic). The list is too long to mention, but these last few months when i went to see my GP (even when i went to see a specialist) i always asked the question - ARE YOU SURE THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MIRENA COIL? The answer was always NO!. How wrong they were, I insisted my Dr took it out (to his annoyance) it took three good pulls to get it out, oh my God the pain, it was embedded in me. within 24 hours there was an improvement in my back, needless to say i'm still suffering but not to the extent that i was.
