I've had horrid luck with hormonal birth control. all other methods i tried made my breasts grow, made me sick to my stomach or made me spot constantly. i have been trying to find a method that will let me regulate my disabling cramps so i can avoid missing work every month or disolving my stomach lining with pain killers. i went on Yasmin a few years ago and at first thought i had finally found the answer: no more cramps, and no gross hormonal side effects. i stayed on Yasmin for three years until i realized that my libido was gone. absolutely gone. i was in a happy relationship, i exercise regularly, eat well and am not depressed. i talked to a NP coworker (i work at a reproductive health clinic) and she told me about Yasmin's anti-androgenic effects. no androgens, thus no libido. i quit Yasmin that day. now i have my beloved sex drive back but still haven't found a cure for my cramps.

Hi everyone
I am new here and Im so glad I found this place. I was reccently prescribed Lisinopril like everyone else here for my high blood pressure and have been taking it for about a month. I thought it was great at 1st but after a few weeks, Ive noticed all the same side effects everyone else here is suffering. The worst part is when I have to drive. Not sure if anyone else ever had major panic attacks and dizziness while driving? Sometimes it gets so bad and I am so paranoid that I have to pull over to the side just to catch my breath. I feel like I am going to faint. I have never had this problems in the past but now I see where its coming from. I am also slowly beginning to feel the scratchy throat as well and my entire body is so stiff every morning and its gradually getting worse. I have tried other prescription drugs in the past and all with no success and always some kind of horrible side effects. Like Atenolol. I don't want to insult other dr's out there who actually care and wants to genuinely help people that are suffering but the sad truth of all of this is most doctors are prescribing this junk because its FDA approved which is total BS. Guarantee most of these Dr's never even tried these presciptions themselves and experienced 1st hand the side effects. And always there answer is either prescription drugs or surgery. They dont really want you cured, just stabilized so we keep buying these horrible junk. I guess its all politics. If they truely found a cure, then I guess pharmaceutical companies would be out of business and there would be no need for Dr's right? It's very frusterating.
We'll if this helps for anyone, I have a friend at work who actually fought his way and battled HBP and cured himself. Only true way he said was to change your diet and exercise. That is the only true way. Eating fish and less salt of course helps. He also mentioned that he ate 1 clove of raw garlic everyday for 1 year. One other solution you can try is an all natural medication called Hyprava. Its a bit pricey and Im sure it's not FDA approved because its too natural with no side effects but I did notice a difference when I was using it. Only downfall, was its an expensive alternative. Maybe this might help for some of you.

Now I just want to cry...I don't know if it is joy for not being alone with all of these side effects or just thankful that I don't feel crazy anymore. The last few years have been the worst for hip pain ,muscle cramps, memory problems snd cloudiness and loss of sleep. I have so much that I have put off because of how I feel. I really believed that I found a cure for this asthma but now I know that I was just being fooled .After reading all of these posts I really want to cry.I cannot go on feeling like this.

my 66 year old diabetic husband took Atorvastatin-10mg for 4 weeks - 3 months later he cannot sleep at night for the pain in his shoulders and neck. he has been back to the doctors 3 times and now they have just done a blood test and given him a steroid injection. He cannot work nothing seems to ease the pain. some days he can't even walk a few steps. the stiffness in his joints is so great. Has anyone found a cure. Our doctor hasn't. she wants him to start taking it again !! NEVER.

I have been taking adderall for over a year, but for about 10 months ago, I started taking wellbutrin also and since have had chronic problems with my ears, It's actually getting worse. Not so much ear infections, but the pressure is actually pushing inward. So i feel light headed just funky all day. Kind of like a head cold without the cold. I can't figure out which one is causing (i think wellbutrin) since that's when it began. But it could be the combination. Just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this. I am 35 female.
