i posted late last week regarding my 4 year old son who had been on singulair for about a month, two weeks steadily. he had turned into an aggressive, whining child who was getting upset over every little thing. he was back to throwing tantrums like a 2 year old and not listening at all. he had his last dose of singulair four nights ago. i am happy to report that he seems to be back to his normal self both at home and at daycare! i am so glad i found this site or he may still be on it today with me just assuming he was going through some sort of phase. it's unfortunate that the medical professionals in the U.S. don't seem to be taking this situation seriously, so we need to stand up for ourselves and our children. keep the information coming, they can't ignore this forever!

INSOMNIA...
Normally I sleep very well but for four nights after I started taking the Levofloxacin I could not sleep. At most, I got 1-2 hours a night. I read up on the side effects and figured that the med had to be causing it.

My 4 year old experienced night terrors and extreme night sweats from amoxicillian. She also got rather drowsy. My son broke out in hives the very first time he had it, which is extremely rare and means he's severely allergic to it.

Seeing as both me and my husband are allergic to it as well, we'll keep our whole family away from it.
