Freedom to choose symptoms and conditions

I took Levaquin 750 mg for 7 days for bronchitis. The day after I stopped taking the Levaquin, my knees and my left elbow started to hurt and now I can barely walk. This is not right. You take medication for an illness and then the medication makes you worse than the illness. I am very angry about this. These medications should be tested more before the doctors hand them out so freely without telling the patient the side effects and giving the patient the freedom to choose whether to take it or not.
