Behavioral changes started when my son was 3 years old and on Singulair, 4mg chewables. He became more angry, irritable, and even stated a few times that he wished he were dead. He has had trouble concentrating and has frequent nightmares.

My son is 9, has been on Singulair for 3 years. He has been complaining of sharp stomach pains for the past few months. He doubles over when this happens. It lasts about 30 minutes each episode. At night when he is trying to fall asleep, he complains about a feeling he has that something just isn't right and something is "missing." He has frequent nightmares. Otherwise, it has not affected his school work or concentration.

I can't be sure it is the Singulair but after reading all of your posts I am surely suspecting it. My daughter is 6 and has been on Singulair for a year this month. she used to be so sunny and happy but now she is anxious, hateful and moody. she used to love school but cries and doesn't want to go and we have ruled out every other possible cause we can think of. She complains of frequent nightmares as well. Her personality has completely changed. Can anyone else who had posted messages ealier about their children and anxiety/mood disorders, update me on their children's behavior AFTER stopping Singulair? Any help would be greatlly appreciated!!
