I have taken Lurpron Depot 3.75mg June 11, 09. I am due another injection July 09,09. I had to get a prescription of prometrium 100mg from the OB/GYN because of the night sweats and hot flashes.Since the injection, I have had and currently experiencing migraine headaches in the frontal lobe and temporal lobe areas. I have slight pain in the temples. I am going to see a neurologist because I was told the lupron may cause brain bleed with people whom have pituitary cancer. I would like to know if the CoQ10 and red yeast rice interacts with Lupron.

THANKS FOR RESPONDING... THE TRAGEDY WE'VE ALL ENDURED IS... AS YOU SAY BEYOND WORDS AND MORE THAN WE COULD PROBABLY OR EVEN POSSIBLY WRITE. PRIOR TO STARTING IN JAN 2005, I WAS ALREADY SUFFERRING WITH MANY OF THE PROBLEMS AND UNTOLD LOSSES OF MY LIFE, MOST ALL MY RELATIONSHIPS ETC. WHEN I WAS 28 YRS OLD I HAD A SEVERE HEAD INJURY AND AM A TEXTBOOK CASE OF A TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY SURVIVOR. MY LIFE WAS MAYBE 95% DESTROYED AT THAT POINT. EVEN STILL I HAD SOME FIGHT LEFT IN ME TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG & HOW I COULD GET BETTER. THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY AT LARGE STINKS AND DRS WHO THINK THEY KNOW "EVERYTHING" ABOUT HOW THE BRAIN WORKS AND WHAT EFFECTS IT ARE IGNORANT FOOLS. ONLY ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO, AFTER DOING MY OWN RESEARCH DID I FIGURE IT OUT AND NOW THE DR'S ARE NOW FALLING IN LINE & SAYING... YEP... THAT'S IT. NOT THE 50 PSYCH DIAGNOSIS THEY STUCK ME WITH... I AM 50 YEARS OLD NOW AND LOST, FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES MY ENTIRE ADULTHOOD TO AN UNDIAGNOSED T.B.I. THEN IN JAN 05, I STARTED THE SINGULAIR... I KNEW THE LAST COUPLE YEARS OR SO I HAD BEEN GETTING WORSE & WORSE. NEVER MADE THE CONNECTION. I STOPPED THE SINGULAIR A WEEK AGO THE LAST FRIDAY. DAMAGE ALREADY DONE. THE REMAINING 5% OF MY LIFE AND LOVE IS GONE AND I DON'T HAVE ANY FIGHT LEFT IN ME. I'M TRYING TO HANDLE THE REMOVAL OF THE SINGULAIR AS SCIENTIFICALLY AS I CAN TO DETERMINE WHAT'S WHAT. BOBANDSHERRI, I HOPE IT'S STILL TWO OF YOU... DOING/LIVING/EXISTING/FIGHTING ALONE WITH EVERY DREAM YOU EVER HAD AND EVERY PERSON YOU LOVE, NOW PRIMARILY MY PAST. MY MARRIAGE GONE. MY FAMILY... I WAS SO CLOSE TO MY MOM & DAD...LOTS OF BROTHERS & SISTERS... THINK IT'S ALL PRETTY MUCH IN MY HEAD. I DON'T KNOW WHAT OR HOW MUCH IMPROVEMENT I CAN EXPECT... I'VE BEEN SO SICK/DESTROYED ETC. FOR SO MANY YEARS. BESIDES MOST ALL OF THE PROBLEMS MENTIONED, I LEARNED A VERY SMALL BRAIN TUMOR-MENINGIOMA HAS GROWN 3MM FROM 7MM TO 1 CM. WHAT'S WEIRD IS... IT'S ON MY LEFT FRONTAL LOBE, ALTHOUGH AT THIS POINT NOT CAUSING ANY OF THE PROBLEMS. IF IT GROWS ANY FURTHER... BRAIN SURGERY FOR ME. WHAT I DON'T GET IS... I READ SOMEONE ELSE HAVING A MENINGIOMA TUMOR ALSO LEFT FRONTAL LOBE... WONDER WHAT IF ANYTHING IT HAS TO DO WITH SINGULAIR... PROBABLY NOTHING... I GUESS?? CLING TIGHT TO EACH OTHER AND REMEMBER HOW FRAGILE LIFE IS. I'M NOT FEELING BETTER YET...(ABOUT 8/9 DAYS WIHTOUT). IN RETROSPECT, I HAVE A GREAT DEAL MORE CLARITY AS TO WHY I'VE WORSENED SO MUCH IN THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS. I HOPE WHATEVER IMPROVEMENTS I WILL HAVE HAPPEN SOON! THERE IS SO MUCH MORE I COULD SAY BUT I'M ALREADY FORCING MY FOCUS HERE TO WRITE THIS MUCH. MAY BOTH YOUR LIVES BE BLESSED BEYOND ALL YOUR DREAMS & THANKS AGAIN! losthope18

My 16 year old son took Levaquin 6 months ago and had a bad reaction to it. His symptoms were severe muscle weakness (he would get exhausted walking from the parking lot to a store and back, severe joint pain (in thumbs, wrists, elbows, knees, and ankles), dizziness (he felt like the room was moving away from him and would lose balance), and headaches (a severe pressure in the back of his head that was constant and then shooting pains in his his head that would come and go for no reason). I should say he was in top shape before this and wrestling in the 125 pound category. He took Levaquin to prevent an infection after sinus surgery.

Now 6 months later, his joint pain is completely gone except for his knees. They still hurt when he does squats and they are not good enough for him to go back to wrestling, but he can walk around pain free. His dizziness is also gone as well as his muscle weakness. His headaches are still there and still constant, but not as bad as they once were; however, he has had them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 6 months. He is on Lyrica which has helped make the headaches subside.

I have taken him to more than 16 medical doctors of all specialties, had multiple MRIs, CT Scans, blood tests, spinal tap, and an MRA. All come back negative. Thankfully, despite all of this, he still remains happy and positive that he will once again be 100% healthy; it will take lots of time, but he will get better. I know the first three symptoms (joint pain, dizziness, weakness) are clearly Levaquin related, but I haven't heard much about the headaches from people. Anyone else out there that has suffered from a constant headache after Levaquin? I REALLY want to hear about headaches from others!!!!

By the way, we have filed a medwatch already. I also know that Levaquin is not approved for anyone under 18 years old and he never needed such a powerful drug to prevent an infection, but there is nothing I can do about that now except to warn others. One of his UCLA doctors wants to write a case study on him to make this more known to others and I am helping him with that.

If anyone has questions, please feel free to ask. If you have had a headache from Levaquin, please let me know where in the head the pain was, if it is constant, what it feels like (pressure, shooting, throbbing), how long you have had it, and what, if anything, helped. THANKS.

my six year old has been on Adderall xr 10mg for about two months. He gets so upset!!!!! very easy then he cries. He cries so hard sometimes he cant even breath. In school he is doing great still behind academically. He is seeing a neurologist next month to see about a learning disability until then I am very concerned about him getting so up set and crying He even said he didn't think I loved him. That just broke my heart. Before the Meds he had never been like this. As soon as as I held him he calmed right down. I also have a 9yr old that takes 15mg. He suffered a severe Brain injury this past July of 2007 The med is working well with him his Focus. He injured the frontal lobe and right and left side of the brain. If he gets upset it is a bit different too I am assuming it is more the injury I am not sure He is definitely not like my six yr old. They both do have a hard time settling down for bed time at night the DR said that was a big side affect and prescribed them both Melatonin 1 hour before bed that seems to help. s any suggestions I am open.

Severe frontal lobe headaches that occur upon waking in the AM.
Today also had visual acuity affected in left eye. The pain was like
nothing I have ever experienced! I must take 800mg IB immediately
and not move at all, nausea the sets in and it takes a couple of
hours to slowly resolve. I am left feeling weak, shaky, disoriented
for the rest of the day. This EXACT scenario has happened twice
after starting 20 mg. of Prilosec twice daily (started 2 weeks ago).
Needless to say I am not taking this medication anymore.
