I was on Reglan every 4 hours for nausea, GERD, acid reflux,
digestive disorders, now known as Gastroperisis, Gastric emptying syndrome, DRUG INDUCED PARKINSONISM.
I took Reglan for a few years for digestive, stomach problems and nausea.

I had this progressing over several months I couldn't write a check, my daughters had to do it, I couldn't eat food without spilling it, the tremors just advanced so quickly and severely until the neurologist said I didn't have Parkinson's and too get off Reglan. It took a few months but the tremors went away and I got my life back.

But not entirely, I don't know if Reglan caused the Gastroparesis or not. But I was recently diagnosed with that. Still have GERD, and other digestive problem including the recnt dx of Gastroparesis which there is no cure for.

There seems to be similar increases in nausea and dosage size of Diovan. Dosage has gone in two years from 40 to 80 and now 160. I am pursuing the idea that the nausea is caused by gastroparesis, which is slow emptying of the stomach, and there is some indication on websites that Diovan can indeed cause gastroparesis. I am now backing off the Diovan dosage slowly, by chopping pills and taking the 80 pill plus about 20 or 30's worth 12 hours later. As the pill is coated a bit, I wonder at what rate the exposed, chopped pill piece dispenses itself.
I had an endoscopy a few days ago and it was mostly negative, no cancer, no esophageal damage, no Barrett's, a little redness in the stomach lining which the surgeon is testing for H. pylori.
I have lost about 14 lbs due to being careful with all the nausea, and it is time to work outside on my vegetable crops, so I hope to get the BP down the right way and get rid of most or all of the Diovan.
The nausea happens about 12 hours after eating.
Anybody else having nausea?

My 20 year old daughter had her second shot in April, 2007. Within 2 weeks she began to have episodes of nausea, vomiting and stomach pain. We have made numerous trips to the ER as she is unable to keep any food down for several days at a time. As I write this she has been admitted to the hospital for the 2nd time as they could not stop the vomiting with the usual IV meds in the ER. She has been diagnosed with gastroparesis which means that her stomach does not contract properly to digest her food. She has been following a special diet for the past year, but still has these episodes. It has put her entire life on hold. The doctors cannot explain what caused this condition in her, however, I am convinced that it is the Gardasil

i've been taking the generic reglan for a month for gastroparesis. i become depressed fast, have been having increased migraines, severe exhaustion as if i had mono, and just recently began lactating. I've stopped taking the medication to try my own trail if the side effects are even worth it. I'ld rather deal with stomach pains and not eat then the spells of depression and other side effects.

Was on increasing doses of fentanyl for back pain - with time and not much time, the fentanyl slowed my digestive system so bad I suffered with gastroparesis. I have taken myself off with a doctor's guidance. My last dose was ten days ago after slowly tapering from 100 to 12mcg. I still have some gastroparesis and wondering if it will ever end. How long does it take to get back to normal????
Most people have not heard of gastroparesis - your system slows to the point that food does not go down normally and one ends up with horrible nausea.

Have taken Reglan just for just one and a half weeks to help with my diabetes related gastroparesis. Since taking it I have been unable to read, play computer games or even concentrate on TV. I chucked it yesterday morning and already feeling a bit better. I am gonna try again maybe in a few days just to confirm that this drug is the cause, but it looks awfully coincidental. That's why I'm looking up side effects on the web today, gave them no thought until yesterday.

I am taking reglan at this time and I am very concerned.....I am afraid that I may be having some of these side effects, I have fatigue, and I am sleepy and tired all the time. I have gastroparesis and they are giving me this to help keep my stomach moving. Before the Reglan I could not keep anything down all I did was vomit, I could not even keep down fluids.........I find this freightening because there is just nothing else out there to use to treat gastroparesis so I am looking at this for a long time treatment. I have to take 10mg four time a day. My doctor is just a regard doctor. But, I do have an appointment with a doctor at Ohio State University and I am going to asking him about other options especially after reading these postings anyone with any other options please let me know!

While taking Aggrenox following a stroke, I am having stomach problems "Gastroparesis" a condition in which the stomach moves porly, and is delayed in its emptying of liquids and especilly solids. I have underactive thyroid after having pituitary surgery to remove a tumor. I stopped taking this drug because I kept seeing bruises on my arms that I could not remember brusing.
