I had a kenalog injection to my right cheek to treat a cyst. It ended up dilating the blood vessels and it atrophied the fat cells under the skin's surface. Now I have a permanent indent in my cheek that looks terrible. There is no way to cover it up and people ask about it all the time. It is very upsetting and stressful. I went to a different dermatologist and was told the only thing to do is a filler injection that only lasts up to 6 months at a cost of $525

I to have a huge dent in my right butt cheek. I would be interested in a class action suit. This is ridiculous! It has been about three months since I received the shot. Has anyone noticed their dents getting better with time?

I went to the doctor because I had cracked a couple of ribs. He injected me with Kenalog without advising me of any adverse reactions. I now have a golf ball size crater on my back. I'm devestated. Has anyone had any luck with lawsuits?

I too received a Kenalog injection last Feb for back/PSIS pain. In a couple of months I noticed a golf ball size "crater" in the area lateral to the shot. I was not given informed consent about this potential side effect. I returned to that clinic because I didn't know what was happening. The MD wanted to send me to a plastic surgeon. Thank God his nurse said "send her to a dermatologist!" I have had 2 silicone injections with 75% recovery. They are $250 each and well worth it. It stimulates new collagen to form and restores fullness and color. I would advise anyone to do this if it is visible and bothersome! The clinic that did this to me actually paid for 2 of the repairs. The dermatologist said it would have most likely repaired itself in 2 years but here I am a year out with 2 injections and a little way to go. Good luck to all of you!

I began using "Nasacort" one year approx 14 months ago. It is triamcinolone-acetonide in the form of nasal spray. I soon after bumped into a sharp corner of an end table. The small mark developed into a golf ball size ball of tissue, it bruised and stayed bruised surrounding the golf ball. I am just reading this website for the first time. I thought I had cancer and had an ultra sound, an mri and finally a biopsy.
After reading these side effects i am wondering if you all think this is one.

My last Kenalog shot was about 3 years ago. I had received 2 previously years ago. This last shot left a noticably golf ball size discolored indentation to my left hip. Within this year I have noticed pain in my left hip, even with basic movements. I have recently noticed that when I do leg lifts out to my side that I hear a popping noise coming from my left hip only. I have to wonder, since not having a reaction with my 2 previous shots, if maybe there was a discrepancy in that specific drugs lot.

I received all three of the gardesal shots. The first three were painful, but about two weeks after my last shot I developed a golf ball size lump at the injection site. My entire upper arm has been tender to the touch, tingling and numb. I called the doctor who states that is must be something else. I am positive it is from the shot. I will be monitoring the swelling, and if the pain woresens, seek different medical attention. Has any one else experienced this problem??
