Great care symptoms and conditions

Well I thought I was crazy too! I have been taking Yasmin for 5 years now and I have been experiencing so many different side effects I thought it was just me getting older and my body was changing. I have noticed everything from major anxiety attacks, fatigue, depression, snapping uncontrollably and being on edge (I am not that kind of person) , skin dryness, discoloration after being in the sun, hair loss, ringing in my ears, I even went to the ear doctor because my husband thought I was going deaf. Also I have experienced such a bad experience with urinary tract infections as well as yiest infections which I feel is due to the Yasmin as well. I never had any of these ailments before taking this pill. About a month and a half ago I decided to cleanse my body of the pill wondering if this could be affecting me and I didn't realize how much it was until I started taking it again one month later within two days I noticed it unbelievably I felt so edgy and started snapping again immediatley. I notified my obgyn and told her what I thought she recommended taking B-6, I tried it and it didn't make a difference so I asked to switch to the YAZ which claims to help with moodiness, fatigue etc...after being on it for one month I think the effects are actually worse. I have decided to quit taking the pill all together. I can't believe people can be feeding this stuff to humans with all these side effects. I am so glad to have found this web site. I had a kenalog shot into my right buttocks on 12/09/2005 and now have an indentation in my buttocks at the injection site. I take great care of my body as I work out intensely five to six days a week. My boyfriend first noticed he indentation over a month ago however I didnt think anything of it until it began growing. I am going to my GP today to inquire about it as this will leave me severly depressed if this is permanent due to the fact that I am knwon to have a nice, round, muscular butt. I will wait to see what the GP says then most liely get a 2nd opinion and then if needed seek legal services. I am 31 y/o female in NJ. if anyone has any recomendations on another doctor to see and/or lawyer who specializes in medical malpractice please let me know. This is real sad as I only received one injection with no instructions on side effects for allergies, etc. I did not find any relief from the injection and am now left with a dimple in my butt. I also have pain and tendeness to that area.

A younger less drug skeptical me took prednisone for poison oak (talk about the remedy worse than the disease!). I had a major allergic reaction (hives, difficulty breathing, etc) and was given a big shot of benadryl at the ER.

This may sound crazy, but this was four years ago, and I am not sure my body ever got over it. My immune system is no good, and I (a person who takes great care of myself-happy, love my life, organic foos, exercise, etc) was SO sick the winter after the prednisone.

I still catch everything that seems to come by, adn I think its related to that vile drug.

I researched and did learn that according to studies, pred can depress the immune system for up to a year. If that is what the studies say, i am willing to bet its a hell of a lot longer than that.....

After three doses of omeprazole, my blood pressure went to 220/110 and I developed an itching all over my body. Emergency room personnel treated the episode as an allergic reaction, gave me an antihypertensive and Zyrtec; and my blood pressure returned to normal. Bloodwork and EKG were normal. My insurer had me switched from Aciphex (prescribed for gastro-esophogeal reflux disease) to the generic omeprazole; I am appealing since others and I have had such a bad experience with omeprazole. Physicians should prescribe omeprazole with great care; in my experience, it sucks.
