I have been on Niaspan ER 500 Mgs for 4 weeks, I have never had the redness or itching until tonight. I can't believe the intolerable itching. I woke my husband and was ready to go to the emergency room, I thought it was an allergic reaction to something. The itching started in my legs, mainly from my ankles to my knees, but I did have some itching higher up on my thighs. Also had the itching on my wrists and lower arms. I am going to try Benadryl as someone suggested on your website, hopefully it will help some, if not I will be forced to stop taking this medicine, the itching is to much to put up with..............Brenda

I have only been on Yasmin for one week and I kept telling my husband I feel as if I am in my first trimester of pregnancy. I have been lightheaded, dizzy, i hace had nausea, heart burn, my hands feel numb, fatigue, my arms felt like there were bruises and there was nothing there and over all horrible. I have just had an emergency D&C done last Wed night and the doc wanted me to take the pill to help regulate my cycle again. But I would rather bleed every day then to go throough this. My last straw came when I was leaving the grocery store with my 5 year old and almost past out in the parking lot. I was so dizzy, I could not even walk, the dizziness then made me extremely nauseated and it was all I could do to find my cell and call my husband to come and get me. If this had happened while I was driving, God Help Me. I probably would have wrecked. I have called my doc and she wants me try another BCP, but I am a little gun shy. HAS ANYONE HAD ANY GOOD LUCK WITH OTHER BCP'S? Please post it on the site.........I agree with other people, get off this pill

I've been taking Levaquin for about 3 weeks. Last week, suddenly, every joint in my body started aching. I mean from my neck, hands, hips, knees, ankles, feet, everything. For the past week, when I wake up, I can't even make a fist without experiencing excruciating pain. I've always been very active, running, basketball, soccer, skiing, you name it, so this is scaring the heck out of me. I'm 47 years old, and up until a week ago, I was hiking with my family, running everyday with my dog. Now I feel like I'm 100 years old. It hurts to walk, stand up, etc! I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow! I'm ticked about this!
