Hair loss hair symptoms and conditions

FINALLY! I am also experiencing hair loss, hair breakage, my blond hair is turning RED, and when it's wet after thoroughly washing it, it absolutely WREAKS of chemicals! My hematologist also swears that it's not because of the Lovenox-my hair stylist agrees with me, that it IS the Lovenox because nothing else has changed in my lifestyle. I think we should do a class action law suit since it's not listed on the Lovenox.com website as a possible side effect!

I had teh Mirena inserted in February 2009. The last two months I have had BAD back pains, hair loss,hair loss,hot flashes and headaches like crazy!! At first I thought something was wrong with me other than side effects from the Mirena but when I found this website and read the comments..... I ALMOST LOST IT! I will definitely be having this removed! I can't take it!! Not only that I bleed at any given time of the month sometimes light sometimes not!! Now I'm scared they won't be able to find it! The first couple of months I didn't see or remember any side effects but now they are definitely there!!!

I had my mirena put in about 3 months ago. About a month later I started noticing hair loss; not to mention lower back pain, acne (mostly on my back, nose), abdominal pain, feeling tired, headaches, & depression. I have been dieting and exercising (extensively) for about 4 months now and have not lost a pound. The hair loss has really gotten out of control so I decided to check with a pharmacist and she suggested that I take Biotin 1000 and Womens One a Day every day. That same night I started googleing "Hair Loss", "Hair Loss Vitamins" and then I thought why not google "Mirena-Hair Loss". I am so happy that I was directed to this website. I was shocked to see how many woman are having the same symptoms I have. What I find most upsetting is that none of these side effects are mentioned on their website nor by the doctor. I already made an appointment to get this "horrible" thing out. Does anyone know if it hurts when it's removed?

depression, irritability, hair loss, hair texture change, crying, no sex drive (im 19), kicking feeling in belly, doctor cant "find my string" so they manually dilated my cervix and still no string, nausea, painful sex, p.i.d, insomnia, head/body aches, nasty discharge, no motivation for life...the list is very long as you can see how the hell do i know if its in or not if it is how will they get it out? plz help

hair loss, hair thinning

I am on my third month of Yasmin, and while my periods have been lighter and shorter, I have had the following side effects: loss of appetite, upset stomach, irregular bowel movements, hair loss, hair texture change, and a couple bouts of inexplicable depression/anger/hopelessness. I plan to change to another bcp as soon as possible.

I got my IUD placed in about april of 07 i have seen than experience crazy skin problems such as ance i've never had a problem with ance and i'm 25 i have very bad mood changes that are unexplainable now that i have reread the side effects of Mirena i now know why all the side effects began around the same time and now i'm figuring out why! I will be getting it removed. Has anyone else experience really bad mood swings i was so ready to get on depression medications now i'm going to get it removed and will take it from there!!! Please let me know if i'm not the only one

Severe leg and foot cramps,30 lb weight gain in 2 years,swelling and bloated stomach,gas,acid redux,itchy skin in the worst place,sore raw tongue,sinus drip(never had before) and hair loss(hair everywhere)
I only got a pat on my shoulder by the Doctor and told he has no record or Advair causing this. On my own 5 months back I started taking Advair once a day because of the cost and to see what would happen. I feel much better.No more cramps,swelling is down..See Dr in 2 weeks. He's going to get an earful after seeing this sites comments. Thanks

Wow! I thought most of this was in my head! I keep telling my husband that this medication's side affects are almost as bad as the Crohn's flair ups! I, too, have had weight gain, increased appetite, mood swings, insomnia, night sweats, hair loss, hair growth on my face, leg cramps, depression, moon face, swelling around my neck (and ankles and abdomen)...in fact, you name a side affect and I probably have it. Currently, I am on 20 mgs (tapered from 40 mgs for 4 months). It seems like the side affects have increased as I have decreased dosage. Has anyone else noticed this as they decrease?
