OMG I am so happy I found this post. I was just telling my co-workers and my friend that for the past 4 days I get so mad at work. I get really annoyed, angry and super bitchy.... which is so not me. I mean everyone is always saying what a sweet girl I am blah blah blah."Well I have felt a total 180 and I have only been on Yasmin for a week! Is it possible for it to kick in so quickly. I mean I get really angry so angry that it had me trying to figure out the root of this "new found evil" side of me lol. But I am going to call my GYN tomorrow and demand a new medication. It's making my life unbearable and hits me worse the minute I step into my office... (granted going to work isn't fun) Now I also notice I have been very sleep. I have been sleeping fine at night but no matter how much sleep I get I am sleepy. Has anyone felt this? I used to use some other BC I think something called lo overal and i was fine, I loved it. Anyway I am very grateful to have read these posts.

i was on prednazone until i was 5 years od. in addition to daily antibiotics (penicillin) and other concotions for severe asthma and allergies. i am now 33, and in deteriorating mental health. anxiety, depression, mood swings, you name it. my fiancee leaving has awakened me to how bad it is getting (not violent, but certainly extreme anger, rage, frustration) and i am tired of living with it. counseling is a start but i'm wondering if anyone has any info regarding long term psychological affects of taking prednisone for an extended period, especially during childhood. thank you for any info

I have had a serious headache for about the last 3 weeks but it isn't a normal headache. My shoulder and neck hurt and I have an odd shooting pain in the right side of the back of my head and it radiates to the front. I have had jumpy limbs and heart palpatations. The headaches are a concern because I have major health anxiety on top of regular anxiety so of course I am frightened that it is a brain tumor. Any one having or has had headaches like this I would appreciate any responses. Thanks.

I have been on Paxil for about 9 months now (20mg) and it has been a wonderful aid to my severe health anxiety and depression. Though the side effect have been around since the early months I have noticed an increase in them lately such as my vivid dreams have gotten very strong, ability to climax has decreased, but the insane sweating has improved.
All in all there a lot of side effects related to this medicine but in my opinion they do not come close to out weighing the benefits of the medication.
Before you begin this medication make sure you ask you doctor lots of questions and understand that this medicine can be a bit life changing since it comes with withdrawal when you decide to tapper off. But in my opinion it is a great tool when battling anxiety, another great tool is therapy too! Therapy has been a huge help for me and I totally recommend going to see someone if you are able!
Hope this helps.
