I'm glad my friend sent this link to me. My son was diagnosed with asthma almost two years ago. He was put on Singular and albuterol inhalers. He stayed with that for about a year. We didn't at the time have any health coverage and could no longer afford the Singular. We started giving him Zyrtec about three months ago. My son, he's 7, started going into these rages about this time last year and we had no clue as to why. We chalked it up to his age and being a boy. The raging has now stopped but he's still combative and lashes out easily physically. He's never been one to act violently before he was diagnosed with asthma. I'm now wondering if this is due to the medicine. After reading these posts we'll be taking him off the Zyrtec and trying something new.

Hello ladies. I have had the Mirena removed now for about 2 months and i feel a lot better. I am not sure if i posted here or another forum but i have experienced terrible side effects from this thing being in my body. my side effects included
painful joints( i felt like a 80 something year old)
lower back pain
Chest pain ( which i still experience on and off now)
numbness on my fingers and toes ( which i still have to some degree)
sharp abdominal pains
extreme anxiety
tired all the time
spasms in my hands and legs especially my left side
headaches and the list can go on and on.
My doctor did not believe the mirena was causing all of this even though i had been a very healthy person with no medical complaints at all before the mirena was inserted.
Did i read somewhere about a class action lawsuit? Because i will definitely look into it for all the suffering this thing has put me through.
Thanks everyone for posting. Information is power!

I was on Paxil for about a year and have stopped taking Paxil about 5 months ago. I had to stop taking it because I do not have health coverage BUT my main reason is because i've been depressed and have fought anxiety my entire life and I do not want to be medicated my entire life. I did it for one year, it worked somewhat but coming off of was hell, but I feel that I want to fight my anxiety and depression with God and myself, not any drug, I excercise more now and EVERYDAYYYY! is a struggle! I feel droopy still from the after effects of paxil, im not doing well in college because I have a hard time concentrating, my eyes are always glossy, im nervous in large crowds (going to the groceery store is HUGE for me) and I feel like Ive done something to deserve this. But I know it is a battle that I need to overcome without a drug, I understand some people need to take it, but as for me, I may be struggling in school or feel tired all the time but if I have to struggle and fight through, I want to do it!
Another thing, I soemtimes feel alone when it comes to talking about anxiety and depression and being medicated on Paxil. It is sooooo NICE to write to other people and hear there stories. It makes me feel sooooo much better. THANK-YOU! God Bless!

I have been taking lotrel 10/20 for approx. 3 months. I now have an uncontrollable cough, insomnia multiple times during the night, constantly waking to urinate. My doctor has prescribed an inhaler and also increased the meds to 10/40 due to my BP being140/96, he has even placed me on a lasix. I am often tired after working 12-17 hrs, this due to the mandates of the JOB, or is it "THE LOTREL". I was on Hazar but the cost was astronomical even with health coverage. Walmart ($8) but not woth the side effects, I'm requesting the Hazar or just go to the V.A.
