I went to the Doctor January 23, 2009 for sinus drainage and congestion. I received the Kenalog 40 shot not knowing what it was they were giving me I just thought it was just like any other shot that I had received. They didn't explain any side effects or anything to me. I knew when I got it that it burned more than usual. I always get a shot in my hip and it never hurt like this shot. I went to bed that night and I woke up out of a dead sleep around 2:00 a.m. and my heart was beating out of my chest. I didn't know what was going on. I then had to calm myself and then I looked up the shot on google and found all these horrible things about it. The past 2 weeks my symptoms have gotten worse. I have felt dizzy, tired, loss of appetite. I just haven't felt myself at all. I haven't been able to drive because of the dizziness. I haven't been able to work, Thank God my boss is very understanding. It just sucks and to read all of your stories it has me really thinking. I really think this shot shouldn't be given to people and it SHOULD be taken off the market.

I am a heart patient (dilated cardiomyopathy) who did a long breast cancer walk since my bi-ventricular pacer gave me a new lease on life. However, I wound up with infections in my toes and blisters all over my feet so the foot dr. prescribed levaquin, after discussing with my PCP. After a week, I could not get out of bed, I felt dizzy whenever I stood up, and could not (and cannot) even do the simplest of things. No motor movement ability. I am completely bedridden. I have not had any appetite and am getting extremely thin. I also had severe pains in my kidneys during the night and had to lay in the fetal position most of the night on several occasions. I stopped taking the levaquin 3 days ago but have yet to feel relief. My heart doctors ran a long string of tests on me and all lab work came out negative, which means it had to be the levaquin causing all of these things. I stopped taking the levaquin but still feel constantly nauseous and no appetite. It is the most horrible feeling I can remember having. I feel like a vegetable and am scared after reading the above comments that these side effects may not dissipate any time soon.

Since taking Propafenone for atrial fibrillation, I've been having horrendous headaches during sex. Two heart doctors and my regular physician say there's no correlation between the two. I've had MRI, MRA, and CT, none of which showed irregularities. Anyone else had this reaction? I'm male.
