Heart palipatations symptoms and conditions

Hi, I'm rapid cycling bipolar. I was taking 300mg of lithium a day and it helped a lot. Then started the crying and paranoid feelings again. I also took venlafaxine 150mg. My psych doc increased the venlafaxine to 225mg time released and the lithium to 300mg twice a day. I have really bad headache that make me sick to my stomach. Bad hand tremors, weight gain, extreme thirst, dry mouth, constant urination, confusion, memory loss, bad concentration, heart palpitation that are very scary and problems with my balance. I've been taking these meds for a year now. I'm hoping that I just need to get used to the new dosage. On the plus side mentally I'm great, it's just the physical aliments that are getting me. I have an appt. with my doc on the 13th. I'm hoping that he'll have some answers for me. Hang in there I know how you all feel! please tell me if anyone else has these same symptoms. Thanks,

I would just like to thank all who left posts on this page. You can not imagine the relief I feel that I am not going mad. I have been taking Yasim for about 4 years now. I have been getting very dizzy, been having heart palpitations, sweating, chills, panic attack like symptoms, feeling faint, blurry vision, feeling foggy in my head and lack of concentration. I have been to 4 doctors who ALL found nothing wrong with me. I spent 4 days in hospital with these symptoms and was told that I had vertigo. I am so annoyed that no doctor made the connection between Yasmin and my symptoms. I have wasted the last year of my life in a foggy haze over this pill.

Thanks... I no longer feel like I should be committed...

PS Does anyone know how long it takes to get this demon pill out of your system???

I am a 38 year old women who is diagnosed with Hypothroid. I was on Levoxyl for a couple weeks and got changed to Armour and was feeling pretty great more like myself. I got switched to Levoxyl again when I found out I was pregnent. I had constant headaches, rashes on neck, loss of concentration, muscle aches and heart palipatations.
I also have depression. I ended up loosing the baby and have some bad days most of the time. My emotions are all over the map.
I am switching my doctor so I am hoping that I can be put on armour again to start feeling like myself.

Hi all!

After a year and a half of hell post-Yasmin my doctor finallly admitted that it was more than likely the cause of my problems (hair loss, severe anxiety, weight gain, heart palipatations, acne, etc.). I have been trying to tell her that for all this time and she kept saying that there was no way possible that the yasmin had caused reactions like I described.

She had put me on Zoloft 8 months ago because she thought I was just depressed and now she wants me to ween myself off of it. She feels that it's not effect because my problem is hormonal. Talk about a bunch of b.s.

I am finding a new doctor asap when I return to New Orleans!!
