My daughter has taking singular for about 3years. Her doctor put hersingular for allergies when she was five years old she is now 8 years old. There was no problem at firs.It took about 6 months before started seeing her change .She has a lot of hate toward her mother, sister, father. She has mood swings saying she hates us sometimes she wishes we were dead. She is all the time hitting her sister. We took her off of them for about a week and she changed toward everybody she was the best kid you could ask for, but her problems started with her allergies again so we had to put her back on them. We took her back to the doctor and they say there is no other allergy medicine that will work her. She has to be on something or she will run high fevers for weeks plus lots of nose problems and watery eyes. She has complains of a lot headaches more than any other kid would

I took Imuran for 3 weeks....150mg/day....started week one with only 50mgs/day, week 2 100mg and then in week 3 got up to the 150mg/day.

Then the aches and pains began....fevers on and off ....and then finally high fevers and rigors ultimately ended up in the hospital in Boston for 4 days.
All of the test pointed to Imuran side effects which caused the fevers etc.

I have been diagnosed with CIDP....and my neuro wanted to put me on a tad more aggressive treatment plan in addition to the IVIg treatment which I am on every 3 weeks, 5x/week. Infusions take almost 3 hors a day...40grams of Gammaguard daily for the 5 days.

My daughter was prescribed singulair about six months ago when she was 4Yrs. old, after about a month on the medication she stated complaining about stomach pain, headaches, and refuses to eat. She recently started running high fevers at night and has been very emotional. The doctors only had great things to say about singulair,it makes me wonder if our childern's doctors may be getting some kind of financial incentive for prescribing these medications to our children.

high fevers, chills, red rash all over swollen skin, major headache, swelling in eyes, anxiety difficulties, confusion, lots of sweating, difficulty sleeping, strange dreams, and I've been really shakey and tired too but can't do anything about it. I am taking no more of this crap ever again.

Took it for bronchitis. Experienced very high fevers, terrible pain in my joints, but thought that was just a function of being sick. Then I started having problems urinating. Today, five days after starting the drug, I am unable to urinate.

I decided to look up more information about this drug. Glad to find I'm not sicker than I thought.

Am discontinuing the pills immediately.
