Histamine blocker symptoms and conditions

I was prescribed prednisone for a severe case of poison ivy. 60mg for 10 days, then tapering over 2 more weeks. Side effects were dizziness, sleeplessness, hunger, thirst, slow healing, pent up energy, acne, etc. My doctor also prescribed Ranitidine 300mg 2x day because it's a histamine blocker, and that helped with the all-over itching. Ranitidine is normally prescribed as a stomach aid (for ulcers/acid reflux I think), so that may have helped prevent any of the stomach/digestive side effects. I also tried to follow the recommended dietary suggestions that I learned about. I focused on potassium, calcium, protein, zinc rich foods, lots of healthy vegetables, vitamin E, etc. Try searching the internet for "prednisone diet" or "prednisone nutrition". I am a long time year round allergy suffered. Singulair eliminated all of my nasal symtoms better than any histamine blocker but appears to give me numbness in the pinky of my left hand. I'm quite sure it is the singulair because I stopped taking it twice and each time the numbness was eliminated. It may be an unusual reaction. Would anyone know how this reaction is caused?

I was on Wellbutrin XL 150 mg for 10 days. On the tenth day I started itching, breaking out in whelps, then having blisters in my mouth. Dizziness, it's like I would turn my head then in a coupl eof seconds my eyes would catch up. Also I have no appetite. My stomach just stays upset. Well its been almost a month now and I am still having this reaction. I have been a predisone both oral and IM. This past Friday my throat swelled up and had to call 911 and be rushed to the hospital. Was told to take Pepcid (yes the medicine for ulcers) as it is a histamine blocker and would help keep the hives down. I just want to know how much longer can this last. I was told it can last 4-6 weeks after my last dose. Please let me know if anyone else has had this experience.
