Homeopathic symptoms and conditions

I have been on Synthroid since 1983--varying dosages. Side effects have included: weight gain, heart palpitations,adrenalin misfires, extreme reaction to heat (sun burns) and body feels hot all the time, fingers go numb in cold weather. Just recently have not been able to regulate dosage--fluctuating between hyper/hypo. I would like to try a new medication with few side effects. Anyone had any luck finding a different med that works?

Does anyone know how to purge this crap out of your system? I've only taken a small number (5) for kidney stones. I had 2 of them back to back...I'm completely clear now -thank god!
I took the last one 10 days ago and the side effects just won't go away...I drink lots of water and finally went to a homeopathic doctor for help...My urologist was of no help. I'm scared that it'll never go away...Can anyone help?

I started taking has two weeks ago and I feel like crap I've never been so tired in my life, I do not recommend this pill if you have toddlers running around I have huge headaches and I've had my period for a grand total of ten days something doesn't feel right ladies listen to your bodies if it doesn't feel right most likely it is not good for your well being this tax pack is going in the trash.

OMG.. THANK YOU ALL, I THINK YOU SAVED MY LIFE. Where have I been, why didnt I realize earlier... but yes, it must be true. I am totally convinced that Yasmin, in tandem with a severe emotional trauma (both of my parents died) caused me to almost kill myself (I was suicidal, and still can become suicidal when a depressive swing kicks in) I was -and to some degree still am- an emotional wreck and I JUST REALIZED upon finding this site that it is this goddamned pill to blame. I am sure of it, I know.... and am rather annoyed at myself since I was very reluctant to start dropping chemicals into my body about two years ago. But no, my wonderful gynecologist said it was essentially the only option to control my Polycistic Ovarian Syndrome... without it, I was a goner. Fine, I thought... and much much crying, anxiety, depression, lethargy, irritability later, I am stopping this s*** NOW. I will just have to find out another rememdy, preferably homeopathic, to deal with my condition. I mean... this is no way to live. I used to like sunny days -like most people- but have literally developed a phobia of the sun. Yes, I know it is wierd and irrational, but for the past year, the sun itself makes me anxious as hell, needless to say I overdo the hat and sunblock and my husband... well wonders what to do -he loves me dearly and has been understanding, thank God but I do put him through the ringer with, my mood swings are CRAZY... This pill is horrible, I repeat, horrible. I nearly lost my mind on it, and have become relatively unproductive, despite the fact that I graduated magna cum laude three years ago, was always active, extemely motivated, friendly, confident.... Now: the sun, my enemy. I also worry about dying, cancer... you name it, cant sleep either, and have splitting headaches almost daily. As others have mentioned, if anyone decides to head up a class-action, count me in. Please email me, I have medical documentation to back up several emergency visits to the psych ward due to suicidal depression. YASMIN WILL MAKE YOU GO NUTS. I am 48 yrs old, and was prescribed lisinopril in early 2007. It immediately lowered my BP. Due to the stress of my job it took me awhile to notice that the headaches, dry eyes, hollows under my eyes, lack of color to my face, were in fact not from my job but from the medication. It took someone I work with to say to me, "You know, you can go on high blood pressure meds, but if you make the lifestyle changes you need to make, you can also go off the high blood pressure meds." Since I stopped taking the lisinopril, the headaches (like a sinus headache, but deeper), the hollows under my eyes, have greatly improved, my face has color again, and the only symptom I'm still experiencing is dry eyes--hoping that will get better with time, also.

I'm going to start a serious search for a homeopathic alternative. Would appreciate any info anyone out there has re: that. I've also quit my job, gone back to graduate school, and will spend the time now to pay attention to what my body is telling me rather than run to the doctor and get some drugs.

i'm glad i found this site. I had fluid in my ear drum. went to quick care and they gave me a prescription for levaquin 750mg. On the fourth day i woke up not able to close my hands. The pain and stiffness in my joints was severe. unable to hold on to anything. I also have pain in every joint in my body or it feels like it. What can i do to get this stuff out of my body? I ache all over. Need some feed back, please help if you have info on this.

My cholesterol has always been lower than 5. I have aways been sensitive to drugs in near, homeopathic concentrations, but forgot this when I tried my first 25 mg dose of Viagra. It caused a collapse (kink) in the transverse artery and induced a heartattack.
When they put a Stent in my pipes to open up the kink the surgeon remarked how clean my blood vessels were, but this did not prevent them putting me on Simvastatin. I did, however insist they gave me the lowest manufactured dose. 10mg.
I took this religiously for four years. Recently dropping the blood pressure medication because my BP was the same,125/81/67 with or without it.
Two weeks ago my left leg below the knee became covered with petachiae.The next day, so was the other. I was also informed I was beginning cataracts. I had shortness of breath and found it hard to pick anything up from floor. I quit Zocor. One week later all sysmptoms gone. My doctor agrees it is likely an allergy. I am 76 and now feel younger!

I've had the Mirena placed for 3 years now. My periods stopped within the first month. I no longer have any more night sweats, hot flashes or mood swings. I still may have insomnia but only mildly and it's managed with meditation & homeopathic meds. My appetite is unchanged & I've been able to maintain my weight. The only effect I have a problem with is that my libido extremely decreased.

I just took one because my doc said that i have a virus that is going around. I wasted my money because i am not going to take again. I would rather drink some tea or do a steam treatment to relieve congestion than deal with the side affects. I have only had one and i am very nervous, It is almost 3:30 a.m. right now and I cant sleep, that is why i am writing this, i cant sleep. I feel like getting mad at my doc or someone but that wouldnt help anything. I just hope this crap leaves my body FAST!!! Feels like poison in my body. Should have asked the doc for a homeopathic alternative. My bad.

Well, the news is reporting that the placebo effect is not really worth it. Homeopathic ways are not really the way apparently. So, do some research about this and heed their warning. Still, you have to have gone through prednisone before anyone can tell us what is best for us. The "natural way" of healing may not be the best. Time will tell. As time passes by, so will the side effects diminish and so will the withdrawl. Maybe some natural ways might help. I,will listen to alot of things to determine about myself. When we post it benefits all of us to keep an open mind and take into consideration each of us are unique situations. All advice and experiences are needed here. This site has helped me alot. I am sooooooooo glad I found this site. I have been on Advair 100/50 for about 5 days now. I did not have asthma but for years I had shortness of breath on my left side. After seeing a pulmonologist she told me to try the Advair and it worked great! I could breathe again!!! Then came the side effects. The first couple days I felt fine. Then, all of a sudden, my left shoulder was sore, and the pain went all the way down to my left index finger. After eating a lot one afternoon my heart rate started to increase and I thought I was having a heart attack or something. Anyway, I'm off this stuff as of tomorrow. I'm going to look for a homeopathic healer!
