4 days post removal. I had a bout of nausea today along with some pretty severe abdominal cramping. I have been having some leg cramping too. Has this happed to others? I have had some light bleeding but it stopped today. I had it for 2 days. I feel like I am on a hormonal roller coaster all day. Feeling good, then bad. Back and forth. Please tell me it gets better. I know it does it is just difficult. I have not felt anywhere near as foggy and not as much anxiety/panic attacks. Thanks.

i am sitting here with my middle son on my lap hoping to God that my beautiful wife comes back to me. i have been telling her for months that the mirena was making her a different person; she is convinced that she needs some sort of drug to make her "normal" again. i would like her to get this damn thing removed asap. she has had all of the symptoms you ladies have mentioned. i am glad that there are some women who seem to do ok with it, but the overwhelming majority seem to have major issues. i cannot imagine what it is like to go through what women do; i do not believe that i could handle their travails. i will do whatever it takes to bring my perfect wife back to our 3 sons, and for what its worth i will pray for the rest of you. God Bless You. Dum Spiro, Spero

LOWER BACK PAIN!!!
Since having my son 4 yrs ago, I've had horrible PMS. My Doc recommended using the ring and replacing it every 28 days without a "bleed week" to reduce my hormonal roller-coaster. The first month was great - no significant PMS and no period. But the last few days (25-28) before replacing the ring I had horrible headaches. Month #2 was the same but with the addition of lower back pain. Month #3 the lower back pain increased. I just inserted my 4th ring last week and the lower back pain is still tremendous. It hurts to bend over or cough. I'm beginning to wonder if I have an infection of some sort instead of just a side effect.
