I started taking Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg on oct 25,2009. I have had anxiety, its been something i have been battling with up until 2 years ago and since then i have had no anxiety attacks. When i started taking the doxycycline, i started to become anxious and starting having anxiety once again. I have also become very shaky, i have a hard time swallowing pills so i brake the capsule open and put it my cup, put just a little bit of water in there and mix it around. could this affect the way the medicine is suppose to work. i have no other option because i have to take it to clear my infection, but i don't want it to harm me. please email me at ****** if you can help.

I've been on Yaz for 3 months now and have had lower back pain , and major stomach pains that I'm keeling over in pain I did some research on this pill and see all these comments and lawsuits oh my god .. I went to my doctor and she said that birth control don't cause these kind of side affects and she thinks it could be an ulcer and she put me on meds for an ulcer and I'm waiting for blood work results before I go for a scope I don't know what to believe or if I should stop taking the pill and see if this pain goes away any suggestions out there email me at ******

I'm a 22 year old female who is pending a lawsuit against Avelox. This drug ruined my life. I was a full-time student hoping to get into Duke University in Fall of 2010; it looks like all of my dreams have been destroyed after taking this deadly drug. I was diagnosed with pneumonia (pretty much walking-pneumonia) on August 8th, 2009...I have no slept since; it has been about 2 and 1/2 months. I did not get to go to school this Fall Semester to pursue my 15.5 units honors classes. I'm currently being told by the doctors of KAISER that I'm gong crazy, bipolar, psychosis, anything but a victim of this terrible drug. Please, help me with this lawsuit. I had my Mirena inserted on Aug 12, 2009. The insertion was very painful. I had taken 800 mg of ibuprofen before the procedure but it didn't touch the pain. I am 40 years old and have had two children naturally with no medication, I feel like I have a high pain tolerance. I had severe cramping and bleeding for about 24 hours. Luckily my husband came with me, I would not have been able to drive home. I have spotted or bleed ever since. I don't know when I'm having a period or just spotting. I have been passing chunks of what appears to be tissue????? I have an offensive odor. I have not noticed weight gain but I am bloated and my clothes are tighter. I am am very moody and get frustrated easily, no patience. I have a lack of energy and don't have much of a desire to do any of the things I love. I have frequent headaches......Now for my major complaints.....I have tingling leg sensation down my legs with a warming sensation, I get extremely nausea. I have had extreme crapping in my abdomen which goes around to my lower back. They tend to be more on my right side. Very comparable to labor pains but with no peaking just stays intense. My breast feel like I'm breast feeding again and hurt all the time. We no longer have sex because it hurts to bad, besides I bleed all the time and stink! Wow if that dosent take the desire away! At times I feel as if I have a UTI, I believe this all contributed to the Mirena. I too called my OB/GYN and he said theses are not side effects of the Mirena.whatever! It is coming out Oct 9, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. I wish I would have researched it more. Thanks for sharing your experiencing because I felt like I was just falling apart.

I'm a 36 year old mother of 2 and I have to say that I never felt so out of touch since I got the Mirena IUD inserted. I got the IUD on 4/9/09 and everything was ok until I started my 3 rd month. I got every side effect possible from, Dizziness, light headed, depression, anxiety, back pain, breast pain and tenderness, abdominal pain, headaches, etc... But I have to say that the worse part is that I lost control of my emotion and I didn't have energy to cater to my family. Oh by the way did I mentioned no SEX DRIVE???? My husband and I could not take it anymore and I just got the little devil removed on 6/26/09 and I have to say my abdominal pain has pretty much disappear and I'm starting to feel that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I can't say that it will not work for you but I do have to say that it definitely didn't WORK FOR ME!!!!! Just do some research before you get it done...... Oh By the way the your doctor may not truly believe that this side effect are possible. Just listen to your body is the only thing that is telling you the TRUTH!!! GOOD LUCK!

i have been on 5 mg lisinopril for exactly 4 days and while i felt okay, my doctor called me this morning and told me to stop effective immediately. it pushed my potassium levels up too high and i had to have an EKG to check my heart!

My cousin has suffered an adverse effect to the vaccine of the human papiloma. She suffers convulsions with loss of conscience and drowsiness. The doctors do not know that treatment to give. Always the crises return to appear. I want information about the treatments in these cases.

I am a 65-year-old female. I was given Lipitor 10mg in Feb 07, which I appeared to tolerate, with the effect of reducing my high familial cholesterol. Because of a genetic enzyme problem, I am careful about my diet; having been a vegetarian for decades. I don’t smoke, and rarely have wine. By May that year my GP increased the dose to 20mg., but days later I was sent to A + E with cardiac concerns. The hospital adamant it had nothing to do with Lipitor.

By mid 2008 I told my GP of dizzy spells, and loss of balance, also swallowing difficulties, but after liver function tests I was reassured it couldn’t possibly be Lipitor.

Early October 08, saw me in hospital with a ‘stroke’, although the CAT scan and MRI were puzzling. I was sent home with no help or guidance after the Consultant insisted Lipitor was not a problem, and I should not reduce it, as it was already a very low dose. Unable to walk to the end of my street, my calf muscles feeling as though I’d run a marathon, and experiencing cardiac stress. Severe neck and shoulder pains, and confusion with words. Frequent muscle spasms in my feet, legs and hands, etc. etc. No energy for anything, and so difficult coping - living alone. End of Dec. a friend from out of town visited, and was alarmed, as she’d researched a web site for her brother, who was using a walking frame. I was astounded at the reports from users of Lipitor, so many suffering in the same way. Although my GP had arranged more laboratory tests for me, I was not prepared to wait.

On 6th January 2009, (almost 2 years later) I reduced my dosage to 10mg., and within days was experiencing improvement in many areas. By 17th January, I reduced to 5mg., (maybe a little hasty) and by 24th stopped it. By 28th my GP could see for himself, the considerable improvement generally, with a lower blood pressure reading.

By then, I could complete half, of what used to be my regular walking regime. To date, I am able to cover more than that, and hope I will eventually be able to cover the full distance. I’m hoping there will be no lasting damage, but am so thankful that my friend found this website. Its scary to think I had no quality of life, and doubt I would have survived more Lipitor. So I’m taking my chances with high cholesterol, and a near normal life.

I suffered a stroke 2 months ago thanks to taking the Yasmin birth control!!! I also discovered I had a pulmonary embolism a week following the stroke! I am outraged! This must be taken off the market! please let me know , i'd love to take part in any class action lawsuit!! Im a 30 year old, healthy woman,i was not smoking, drinking, etc, and exercised frequently...

I took Lipitor for 2 years with all the pain in my shoulder, hand and arm as well as fuzzy memory. I had a friend over for Lunch an have no memory of anything that happened including his arriving and leaving on his Harley and we all know how loud they are. I ended up in the hospital with all kins of tests including an MRI all of which I have no memory of to this date. My hospital bills are still coming in as well as all the Doctors that saw me. I just received my Divorce and then this happened , I was out of work for a week , the Doctors thought I had had a heart attack, stroke or aneurysm.I also had all the foot pain making it impossible to stand up , leg cramps, sleeplessness, sheer exhaustion, depression, headache and nausea. The Doctor at the Hospital took me off of the Lipitor and said to take a 325mg. aspirin daily . This happened on March 23, 2008 . I am felling better but I still pain in my shoulder , neck , stomach , and feet and legs but is nothing like it was. Here I am left with a few thousand dollars of Doctor and Hospital bills. Why can`t something be done about all of this we are all going thru? I called the FDA to report it and got no where. Did I really expect anything to happen ! I hope someone gets something done for us . I would be one of the first to sign up to take Lipitor off the market and get what is due us.

Just an update about the class action suit discussed previously, and Aamaya had provided us with the Florida attorney, Justin Wikin: I got a letter in the mail yesterday stating that they would not be pursuing suit against them. They said that they deal mainly with wrongful death cases and it does not mean that the case does not have merit, just that it is not their specialty. I will be doing some research here locally in Ohio to see if I can locate a practice to pursue this. If anyone comes up with something, please let us all know.

I am very scared right now and concerned, but recently I have been sick for the last 3 weeks or 4 weeks. I went to the doctor about 2 weeks ago and he prescribed some Amoxicillin for my sickness. He said he couldn't identify what I had so he gave me a broad based anti biotic. For about a week I took it and didn't get any better. The medicine caused me to get dizzy spells after sleep and before sleep. So this week I went back to the doctor and he said the medicine wasn't helping me and my white blood cell count had gone up. So I had to get some blood taken . Then the nurse couldn't find my vain easily. She managed to get a little blood though and took it for lab samples. The doctor came back and said I needed to take some Avelox and gave it to me. So for about two days I took it and I felt ok, but later the second day I started having a panic attack for no reason. I told my dad I needed to lay down.

After that, my dad made me some food and I laid down and watched TV and the feeling soon left. I was really feeling sick so I got a cold rag and put it on my forehead. I was looking forward to my mom coming home from Wednesday night church. I fell asleep for about 30 minutes. Then my mom came home and woke me up and we talked for a bit and then I went back to sleep.

Well, today I got curious about my medicine and looked it up and found out some terrible news. The medicine I am taking has actually landed people in the hospital. I found a site where people who had taken it posted what the side affects were. They all had reports about having anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and muscle aches.It was then I realized that my medicine is what caused the panic attack the day before. I called my dad instantly and told him about the bad side affects. He didn't really seem to care that much. He listened to me though, which is a step up from my mom. Then I called my mom and explained to her. She just ignored me and didn't care. I was crying and I felt so terrible and frustrated. I was just trying to explain to her that my medicine caused very bad side affects and even thoughts of suicide. She didn't really seem concerned though, she said she'd call my doctor and talk to him about it.

Right now my parents and I are just really stressed about this whole thing. I refuse to take my medicine because of it's dangerous side affects... but if I don't have any medication at all I won't get better. I'm just in a really bad situation and I am just so depressed I feel as if I could burst!! Everyday I feel like utter crap and my vision is screwed up and I don't have an appetite so I have to make myself eat. Also, my white blood cell count keeps getting higher and if something isn't done soon what I have could be very dangerous.

I keep praying to God... but it doesn't feel like he hears me. I am in great emotional pain, my parents are never home and I'm lonely the majority of the day to , and being sick doesn't help. I am starting to experience a bit of the thoughts of suicide.I keep convincing myself I need to live and I'll get better and I don't need to die. It's hard though I am fighting with all my might to keep it away.

I have been on 40 mg Geodon for over 6 months, and I stay like I am in the clouds and my legs and hands will shake ,bad anxiety,I don't want to go out and do anything.I want to get off this drug against my docs orders , does anyone have any information on withdrawals from the Geodon?and how do you tapper yourself off it . email me *** thank you Melissa

I have been on Nasonex for approx 7 days now, I was at the gym last night and my chest felt ooh so tight, am coughing as bad as I always have and I cannot taste or smell now(no flavor, nor senses). My nose is running all of the time and I do not fancy getting any more side effects so Nasonex from today is going bye bye, never mind drugs are for mugs, but 'Nasonex is for MUGS'..... don't feel like being a hamster or a guinea pig, why prescribe and not remove from the market a product with obviously so many downsides.

I started taking Levaquin last Friday ( the 11th) for a severe sinus infection. I was prescribed 750 mg for 5 days. I finished that but my sinus infection didn't improve so I was prescribed another 5 days of 750 mg. I took the pill yesterday and today ( totally 7 pills) I noticed on about day 2 or 3 that my legs felt tight, but thought it was a normal side effect. Then my lower back. I wasn't in serious pain at all so I ignored it. Today my knees, knuckles, shoulders, elbows, are extremely sore and i get sharp pains every now and then. It also hurts to sit for too long. I started researching the drug and now am so terrified after reading all these horror stories. Has anyone had this only last while taking it and not for months afterwards? Or am I pretty much in this for the long haul. And to the people who say that it lasts for months or years is it pain that disables you from working and doing daily things? I'm only 23 and I live a very active life and I'm totally freaked out now. PLEASE HELP

I keep getting dizzy, quick blackout and fainting spells since taking this medication. I also get sweats/chills. I also urinate more and am always tired. I am thinking it may be from the medication but my doctor says no and I am not sure I believe him unfortunately. Did anyone else have these spells when taking lisinopril?

I'm 16 years old. The nuvaring is my first birthcontrol ever. When i first put it in the next day i was very emotional. I cried over silly things and i would get pissed off over nothing. Then a week or two passed and i just wasnt feeling well. I was tired, had headaches, cramping. I just didnt like the mood i was in. My second or third week i found a lump in my throat. Now today i found another one directly under my chin. Do you think this could have any connection? Im due to take thing ring out tomorrow, and im hoping when i do these lumps will go away. Im praying to God that the lumps are nothing serious and its just a side affect of this "cool' birth control. If anyone can help me out PLEASE contact me. ******

I've been on Topamax since just Tuesday, 10/9/07. I find that I get very tired a couple hours after taking it and I have horrible nightmares and very dark thoughts, too. Diet coke tastes so HORRBILE which is bad because I loved my diet cokes, but then again I guess that's good b/c I need to stop drinking them anyway. My worst side effect is that I have horrible mood swings. Is this normal? Is this going to go away over time? Because if not, I'm going to stop taking it now. This is not like me and I am not going to subject my family to this - losing weight is not THAT important to me. Thanks for any help. :(

P. S. I'm taking 25 mg in the morning, afternoon and evening.

hi, my father was on lipitor since 6 years and he quit the medication last october 06 with not big change he still has dificulty walking very weak muscle cant stand stright and hard to get up or sit in the car,but he has some improvement that before all his body was numb which is he never felt pain now the numbness is gone but he is crumbling form severe pain,he dreamed all night and scared and maked noise while he was aslept but now he doesnt his upper leg was very hard like stone and numb and stiff but now it is abit like normal but very painful his memory improved his dry eyes subside but cant walkhe is starting coq10 50mg fish oil and also taking zetia10 mg and will see his improvement even my doctor refuse that lipitor is not doing this damage and i am a doctor study for 7 years and you means me just read few post from net and chalanging a doctor even he wants my father to put him bach to lipitor and write a prescription for him and i said to my father dont take it i copy some of these post and gave it to my doctor he didnt even look at it and siat it is all lies and none of them are rightand told me dont trust to these topic but i do coz all the symptom that i see here my father has and i dont believe to doctors any more about this what ever he say i wish full recovery for all the people who suffering from this medication and please if any one recoverd plz send me a private email on ******
i think pfizer should be sued by people who are suffering and this medication should be withdrawnfrom the market before it harm others.

Zyprexa has ruined my life!!!!! I went in hospital in 2001 with what I would call mild delusions now compared to after being given zyprexa. As soon as this med was started I began to have extreme pressure on my back constricting my breathing, could barely get dressed look after myself walk from one end of a hall to another, began vomiting day in and day out and diagnosed with severe acid reflux, waking up night after night gasping for breath and finally diagnosed with sleep apnea - this is before I gained the 85lbs from this and other atypical drugs. Experienced sleep paralysis where I would wake and feel like I couldn't move my body, vivid nightmares, and symptoms of td with constant twitching of my body during sleep. These side effects continued for 5 long years. I still suffer from acid reflux, sleep apnea and osteoarthritis in my knees. This is a very dangerous drug. I wasn't on the drug very long but other's were tried with no avail to the side effects until I was switched to zoloft and risperdal. Now I am having high blood sugar results with at home testing. I am searching for people in Canada who have experienced any of these side effects as I am added to the Class Action Lawsuit that has been initiated here and hoping there are others who can add their names to the suit who have experienced similar side effects. My mother was placed on Reglan for slow digestion due to diabetes. She shot herself to death approx. one month later. She had never, ever, been suicidal and looking back now I can see how her personality changed at the very same time that she started taking the drug. I miss her so much and would give anything to be able to go back and make the connection in time. If anyone would like to ask any questions of me, please feel free.

Prescribed for adult acne problem which started around the age of 40. Had one go at it over the winter and found it very effective in curing my skin. However I am an outside worker all be it in Scotland, with a second go prescribed in June. This was a different experiance all together with I guess the sun. I now have what can only be described as water blisters under the skin on my nose and just below my lower lip line. These can be so sore like as many others have described a burning stinging sensation that can come on for hours and then just go. Although they are noticable on my nose as any alteration in temprature makes them very noticable by a deep redness circling each blister. Have also entered into a very low feeling which could be the start of slight depression although not totaly sure, just always seem to have very low points in my day to day life that I never had before. These blisters are still there and burning even after two weeks of not taking this medication of Doxycycline 50mg capsules. Would appreciate any helpful advice or an idea if the burning blister ever goes away? Thank you.

It has helped my blood pressure BUT I have gained 13 lbs in 4 months, and I do NOT eat sweets or high fat foods...PLEASE, anyone else han=ving weight gain problems? Barbie703@hotmail.com
