I'm not sure, but since I have started taking Yasmin 3 weeks ago, I am perspiring like crazy! The weather is changing towards summer, and there's been a lot of rain and humidity, but my perspiration is beading down my forehead all the time, it's gotten to be quite embarrassing. I don't see perspiration as a side-effect, however, I don't know what else could be contributing to it but Yasmin. I used to take ortho-tricyclen-lo, but I experienced a lot of break-through bleeding - for instance, last month, my period spotted along for 2 weeks! So, now I'm on Yasmin and I hope to get my period soon so I can see what it's all about.

I have been on 20mg lisinopril for over a year. Didn't notice anything out of the ordinary for almost whole year. In May, I began getting these bizarre "rashes" and marks over both arms, hands, and legs almost daily. Thought it was from humidity. It is now Feb. in the Northeast and rashes/hives continue! Biggest concern, though, has been the increasing thinning of my once thick, beautiful head of hair. Told by derms, doctors, etc. geneticin had nothing to do with meds. I KNOW this is not genetic and thinning so bad, my hairdresser recently confirmed it, saying worse on right side of crown of head. Thinking of discontinuing lisinopril. Any advise?

I am recently out of the hosp after 9 days with COPD exas, pneumonia, flu. I have been on heavy antibiotics, steroids--home now for 1st time with oxygen---I feel GREAT.First time in years I feel like I have a life to live. Like a veil has been lifted. I'm scared for this feeling to go away--what is it? the steroids?? the oxygen?? Whatever it is I need to know so I can fight for it and stop just waiting to die.

Day 4 of taking Cephalexin (500mg) 3 x daily for an abdominal cyst that became infected. Have seen little change in the cyst so far- wondering if it takes longer to work? Side effects: really the only side effect that I can claim is tiredness. Also- in the last 24 hours I developed a very sore throat- no other secondary symptoms like coated tongue or swelling so I am not sure if this is related to the Cepha. I am in Vegas on business s it could be "Vegas Throat" (combination of AC, low humidity and cigarette smoke in casinos) or the start of a cold. I will see in the next couple of days when I get back home where the humidity is 60%.

My son is 21 month old and he's been taking singulair for two months now, and I can notice that after he started taking it he is having nightmares. Every night he starts crying while sleeping without any reason. So I am wondering could it be possible that these happens because of singulair just in 2 months or there is something else. Doctor told us to continue giving singulair for 6 months, Shall I stop giving it or not?

I am a 52 year old male from South Florida. Two years ago my Dr prescribed Lipitor. I started to feel weakness in my legs after mowing the lawn but I dismissed it as just being worn out from the summer heat and humidity. About six months ago the little toe on my left foot became numb and it spread to my other toes. I get continuous spasms in my left big toe and now the toes on my right foot are becoming numb. When I sleep at night I am continuously being woken with leg cramps in my feet, calfs and thighs. My feet feel heavy, my legs feel weak. There are times that I just lose my balance. I have a physical job and when I get home I don't want to do anything. I am going to see a neurologist on 3/31 to see what he thinks. My biggest fear is that I now have permanent damage. I have not read any articles about individuals having a full recovery after stopping the medication.

My 2 year old son was prescribed Singulair for eczema yesterday and gave him his first dose last night. His bedtime is at 8 and since he is two years old and fights sleep, it normally takes him 30 to 60 minutes to actually fall asleep. He was still awake at 10:30. He couldn't seem to wind down. I knew it was from the Singulair immediately. I woke up this morning and got the prescription literature to see if this is even prescribed for eczema. It didn't say. So I got on Singulair's ...... and nothing about eczema. I then searched ...... and found this website and I am completely blown away by everyone's stories. I think I will take the 30 bucks for next months prescription and buy a humidifier for the apartment and use some Cetaphil lotion. He didn't have breakouts this summer due to the humidity, so I will just make my apartment humid. The doctor not only prescribed Singulair, but also Clarinex. The pharmacy had to order it and I was supposed to pick it up today, but I am going to search the side effects for it first. I will probably just save my money and see what I can do with home remedies.

I was presribed Levaquin 750 mg after a severe reaction to a spider bite. The worst side effects I experienced were a lot of pain in both of my feet (making it difficult to walk) and a sickening taste in my mouth that I could NOT get rid of. I felt totally out of it when I was on this medication, like being in a fog or something. Not to mention that I was constantly thirsty and was sweating like crazy, even though I live in Colorado where there is virtually no humidity. About a week after I finished the medication, these side effects have finally pretty much disappeared. The doctor had samples of Levaquin that he gave me, which is probably one of the only reasons he chose this particular medication in the first place. Yuck--I will not take this medication again.

i have been miserable taking these pills..first week of 2nd pack..couldn't figure out why my boobs were killing me in the first pack and then the debilitating fatigue (i am going to lose my job if this keeps up--i come home at lunch and can't do anything but sleep for an hour! in addition, as soon as i get home at 5 i have to rest again,.so not me and so NOT able to continue this way)..i also have had 2 weeks of major headaches with the first 2 characterized as the worst i can ever remember. I am not a person who has issues like this...I am 41 and never been on BC. I started because the older i get the worse the periods and pms are and longer...heavier, more intense moodiness and pain. I am convinced as of tonight that i think i rather have all that back. I can't do this. I left a message for my doctor after reading 2 days worth of blogs now i know its not a flu, pregnancy or the 'weather'. I was also having hard time breathing (felt like i couldn't get a deep breath so i had to really inhale and i looked like i was having an attack..i thought it was the humidity here in the NE...now i know thats from these damn pills). I also did not get my period the first brown pills till the Sunday i started my new pack and it lasted only a day.
