I am on Lisinopril 10mg I break the tab in half take it morn and night, also I am on Hydrochlorot 12.5mg once a day.
I have been having a cough, dizzyness, tiredness, knee pain and I have no control of wetting myself when I cough. for some time now. I have been on this stuff for a year. I went to the Doctor the 14th of Nov. only to find that my Triglycerides are out of the roof my Cholesterol is up and I have high blood sugar. My blood preasure is good though.
I watch what I eat very closley. I am a bit over weight 60#'s.
I have been on the web for 3 hours now checking out these problems well Hydrochlorot causes the Triglycerides, Cholesttrol and the blood sugar to go up. Then I find this web site stating all the problems that Lisinopril causes I am having some of the same problems as the rest of you.
I am not going to take any more of this poison. I am going to go the natural way. I found on www.rxomega3.com some information about Lowering Triglycerides the stuff is called OMACOR (omega-3-acid ethyl esters) it is FDA approved which means nothing to me. Your Doctor can prescribe it for you.
Thank you for all the information you all have shared about this drug. My husband and I do alot of the natural ways in the first place but I feel I was scared into taking these drugs.
I am just going to put my trust in the Lord from now on he is the doctor and the healer. He healed my Husband of Mastatic Prostate Cancer this year.

Unusual fatigue and weakness, muscle cramps, lethargy and woke me up coughing at night which the drug, Singulair, is supposed to stop, but Lisinopril over-rode it.
In the afternoons, I would just sit in a chair and just feel very "unwell."
Okay in the a.m., but the afternoons were terrible and then it started at night, waking me up with coughing.
Then I inherited a urinary tract infection - I was not eliminating enough, so the urine backed up and caused the infection (this came from someone who is a druggist).
My doctor is on vacation and I used a walk-in medical center to get help. I'm back on hydrochlorot.

After 17 months on hydrochlorothiazide for blood pressure, I experienced a bright red itchy rash on sun-exposed areas ( primarily face and neck). It was diagnosed as solar urticaria (allergy to sunlight) and was successfully treated. However, after 24 months now on it, I have bright redness on my face and neck again (unpleasant but not particularly itchy) with really mild nausea. The doctor tells me it could be a side effect of the drug. I am now on another blood pressure pill, but it has been four days since I took the hydro. and the redness has not gone away.

I was taking allopurinol for 10 days and on the 11th day I had two BAD nose bleeds and on the 12th day another BAD nose bleed. The Dr. in the ER did not do anything about it because it had stopped. I did experience what the ER Dr. thinks is Vaso Vagal in the ER. I stayed in the hospital overnight and did a stress test, but on problem was found. I waited 7 days and started on the allopurinol again every other day, On the 7th day again a BAD nose bleed. I again stopped the allopurinol and after 4 days no problem. I also take one Hydrochlorot daily and two Urocit-k two times a day for Kidnsy Stones. Is there any information about what I have experienced? I am not at this time taking or going to take allopurinol. Thanks Samuel A. Holoway

I went on Lisinopril about 3 months ago and for about that amount of time have had a terrible dry cough; I went to my doctor who told me I probably had allergies and suggested Claritin, which did not help. So, I suffered with this cough which is so bad sometimes I gag. I knew something was up because I've never had a cough that was dry this way. Plus, I kept asking people what their allergy symptoms were and they kept saying sneezing and running nose and I didn't have any of those. So, I went to an allergy doctor who concluded that I did not have any allergies and highly suspected the Lisinopril. He told me to quit taking it since my BP was now so low (110/74) and if it goes back up and can go back on something; I still take hydrochlorot. I was thrilled because I've never had allergies and sure didn't want to have them now. We'll see if this does the trick. BTW, sometimes I get these attacks at night when I first go to sleep and lay on my side. Hope this helps someone.

Started taking lisinopril April 6th of this year. Have had many of the symptoms listed in these posts. I just thought I was still having symptoms from being sick. I have had a lot of anxiety and depression, as well as chest pain and heart palpitations. My hands were ice cold and had severe stomach pain. My head felt very cloudy and numb. I have had every blood test possible, 2 EKG's, a brain MRI, cervical MRI and brain MRA, and a chest x-ray. So far, everything is normal. I saw this site a few weeks ago and on June 8th, I stopped taking lisinopril. I have started feeling better, not completely, but definitely better. I am supposed to go back to my doctor on the 29th. He did not agree with me that these symptoms could all be caused from this drug. He reluctantly agreed that I get off it for these 3 weeks. I am still taking Hydrochlorot with no symptoms. Not sure what to tell him when I go back. Are any of the other blood pressure drugs safe???
