I am schedule for a lupron shot on thurs w/my surgeon. I have large fibroids which causes the usual problems, bleeding, etc. I curretnly have lower back and hip pain already due to the size of the fibroids. I am scheduled for a hysterectomy after putting it off for years. My surgeon suggested the shot stating that it would help with shrinking the fibroids and make my surgery easier lap vs. abdominal. Reading this site is truly scarring me I already live with some pain already and have a family history of depression. I have a career I love and make a 4 hour daily commute and it sounds like my life will truly be altered if I choose this. Help!!!

I had a hysterctomy the 10th of June and I have gained 14 lbs. in three months. Could this weight gain be linked to the patch and if so what could I do to counteract it?

I am an adult woman who took Omnicef for what was thought to be a bacterial infection in my throat. Turned out to just be a cold so I quit taking the Omnicef. A couple weeks later I started getting cramps and side aches. Which is strange because I had a hysterctomy (leaving my ovaries) about four years ago. Turns out I have a vaginal infection which is one of the more common side effects of Omnicef. I don't think that a drug intended to cure one problem should create a totally new problem. What good is this antibiotic? I will never use this drug again.

Kenalog has been a god-send for me. I came to the doctor with extremely infected sinuses. After sinus surgery to clean everything out my sinuses were still very inflamed. I have had about 3 kenalog shots over a time period and they make me feel so good I actually feel like I can live again. Now I have had a hysterectomy so I obviously do not have the bleeding side effects, but I have not noticed any other side effects either. My only wish is I could get a shot every two weeks until my allergies/sinuses calm down!
