I started taking Prilosec OTC a month ago to treat GERD...just over a month ago. Very shortly after starting the medication, I noticed I was getting dull headaches and tension in my head that lasted throughout the day...not a migraine, but enough to be annoying. I also noticed as time went on that I have become very nervous/anxious, my heart rate jumps up easily, and now I am having blood pressure spikes that I never had before. I have seen that Omeprazole (similar drug) has caused similar problems in others, and even my doctor told me that the same class of drugs can cause similar problems. My GP is very suspicious, because all of this began after I took the drug. Even though I had slightly elevated Dr's office BP, it was never at current levels. And I cant sleep at night nearly as well, and that DEFINITELY started just after taking the meds. Anyone else experience this?? My Gastro Doctor is skeptical, but I think my GP DR thinks something is not right here and she suspects the medicine...

I have now been on prednisone for 3 weeks (3/9/07 to Present) and I weight 103 so I havent notice the weight gain yet but I do eat a lot now and I am never full. I go back to the doctor next Friday so I will find out if I have gained any weight. A major problem I am having is I cant sleep at night I have so much energy now. My face is shaping into a moonface. I take two pills a day at 20 mg (40 mg together). Also, my mood is changing I get mad really easy now.

I have been on this medicine for almost 6 days and I am only 20 years old. I have had a sinus infection for 3 weeks now and have been on antibiotics for 20 days. The Lavaquin they have had me on has caused tingling sensations in my legs and arms I am tired all the time. I play college basketball and have never felt so tired. I cant sleep at night I have anxiety and nightmares about dying and toss and turn for hours. I cant get out of a chair without feeling like I am going to pass out which is very scary. my arms feel tired and this medicine has made me feel like there is something really wrong with me instead of helping me. Do not take this medicine!

Ive been on Lisinopril for 2 months. Ive had a cough for the last 3 weeks. Started with the worse cold ive had in years. I cant sleep at night cause i cough so hard. My sides and back hurt all the time. I thought maybe i had a sinus infection, but the cough and runny nose is clear. I also have a headache all the time. I went on this med cause my insurance company wouldnt pay for my Macardis, which worked great. I think we are all victims of the insurance companys. I will be going to my Dr soon and getting off this junk.

I have been taking 80mg of Geodon for about 4 years now. Im like most of the other people, I cant sleep at night, its 5:43 am now and Im still not tired. I have the same reaction when I miss a pill, but I only sleep for an hour then wake up feeling great, but as soon as someone talks to me, I get really jumpy and cocky, and millions of thought of killing and being destructive to everything in sight rushes through my head all at once. It has even got so far that I tryed to kill my black lab for barking at a reflection in the window. I have also had days that I would just black out, and not remember anything that has happened til I wake up the next day. But I mean when Im taking the pill when Im supposed to everything is fine. It usually calms me down. I have tryed so hard to change meds or just get off of it all together, but my doctor says it is clinically impossible to get off of geodon after being on it for as long as I have been on it. Before I was taking geodon I have never had any of the problems that my doctors seem to think I had. I never wanted to hurt people, I never heard or saw anything that wasnt there. And I sure as hell shouldnt have been on this medication for Teenage Depression. My problem was my life sucked and I made the mistake one day of talking about my problems. One piece of advice. Dont talk about your problems to doctors or psychiatrists you dont know. That just leads you to a very expensive vacation to a mental institution for 6 months to be put on medication you dont need. I have had past experiences of being over medicated with Geodon, but being under medicated with geodon scares the hell out of me more.... Thank you to all doctors and geodon for fucking up my life. Im sure I'll die from murder / suicide now.
