I have been reading all the posting about this drug. Was just prescribed it. I don't think I will take this drug now. Does anyone know of anyway to lower the bp naturally as I have to bring mine down. I know that stress can sometimes trigger the bp to rise. Just not sure what to do now.

Female 30, CA
Central Asian decent
I was on YAZ for a year, I just stopped taking it yesterday. While on Yaz I experienced the following: Sever anger, depression, fits of range, I hated everything, I'm a newlywed and could not figure out why all of sudden I hated life and took it all out on my hubby. Would pick fights with him for no reason, I experienced back lower back pain, went for several Chiro sessions and still have pain in my lumber area. Trouble breathing a times, tension in my shoulders and neck, nightmares. If I did sleep I woke up exhausted and tired and remained that way the whole day. I felt tired and drained all the time. I'm a healthy 30 year old I’m active and eat very healthy vegetarian diet, yet I put on 15 pounds and could not take it off.
Blurred vision and dizziness.

While I was on YAZ I could not figure out what was causing me to feel this way or what it could have been as I was not warned by my doctor and did not think that my birth control was the cause of it.
After doing some research and reading what other women had to say, I finally understood what it was, YAZ; which should be banned and the company sued. I called my doctor to tell her and she told me I should have told her sooner, I did not even know what it was, I trusted her "expert" guidance in putting me on it. I don’t think I will ever go on any meds without extensive research ever again. I strongly feel that Doctors push drugs on people for their own selfish and monetary reasons, pharmaceutical kick backs. While we the women are made to be their Guiney pigs in their experimental trials, lets prescribe and see what happens attitudes. I hope that I can reverse all this, I want to live and feel like myself again and learn to love life again.
I’m so upset with YAZ an Buyer that if anyone is a lawyer and willing to start a class lawsuit against Buyer and Yaz I sign up without a thought.

pancreatitis,, After being prescribed Byetta for Type II Diabetes by a PA, I used the 5 dose size of Byetta for 30 days, then I went on 10 dose of Byetta twice a day. on a Saturday morning I had discomfort under my left breast after my AM injection, then after PM injection I began to experience severe pains under my left breast, they got progressively worse as the minutes went by, terrible pain, ended up in the emergency room, blood tests showed increased pancreatic enzymes, I was given a prescription and told to visit my GP on Monday. My GP knew what had caused it as soon as I told him I had been taking Byetta, he had other patients who had the same thing to happen. I called the mfg, they were aware of the problem, the FDA has put out a warning after I began taking the Byetta. There were no warnings about pancreatitis in the medicines I had received. Since this instance in December, I have talked with two others who had similar experiences with Byetta. I now am left with chronic pancreatic pain and am on meds for that. From what I have read have a 4% chance of developing pancreatitis cancer as a result of the attack. When you read the little infor out there about this, it appears to be pushed off as long time alcoholics who drink excessively are the ones who have had this problem with Byetta. I would estimate it has been at least 4 years since I have had a cocktail and have never been an alcoholic... BEWARE!!!

I am 27 years old and have just recently completed six months of lupron. I had my last shot in January 2006. The treatment was for endometriosis. I had been in pain for over 10 years when I finally had a laporoscopy to diagnose the endo. I also experienced "mild" side effects from the lupron. But, let me state first that I CANNOT take any sort of hormonal birth control because of the estrogen. Everytime I have tried BC I have had mini strokes. During my pregnancy I also had a mini stroke due to the increase in estrogen.
While on the lupron, I actually felt better than I have felt in a long time. I had the occassional hot flashes, night sweats, and a lot of weight gain. I gained around 25 pounds in four months. I don't recall any other severe side effects. However, I was also on Elavil (anti-depressant) the entire treatment. So I'm not sure if that helped or not. My problem is that now after being off of lupron, I am having horrible feelings of nausea, dizziness, fatigue and horrible headaches. I went to the doctor today because of an excrutiating headache I have had for three days now. It is a weird headache. It only hurts in one spot on the top right side of my head and hurts when I move my head quickly or move my eyes. The doctor did blood work to check my thyroid and has scheduled a CT scan for next week.
Has anyone ever experienced severe side effects after completing lupron? I am wondering if it is the estrogen coming back. Am I better off to be on the lupron? If anyone has any comments or suggestions, please reply.

Hi,

I have taken Yasmin off and on for 3 years. I have had depression, alot of crying and erathyma nodosum ?? which is nodules in the lower part of the leg. This is a rare disorder that feeds off of Yasmin. When I am off of Yasmin I am fine. Within the first month of taking the pill I will experience sore upper leg muscles and then within 1 month the soreness will move to my ankles then nodules will become very prevleant on the bones of my legs. The nodules grow QUICKLY even over night. At one time I had 5 and the largest one was 5 inches long. This is EXTREMELY painful and will last up to 8 months from the time you quit taking them if you allow it to get this far. My Dr.'s did not know that the Yasmin was causing this until it was so developed. It was so bad that I had to have punch biopsies on the nodules and set off for diagnosis. If anyone has had this problem please let me know what you did and are doing??
Thanks E
