Ivf cycle symptoms and conditions

lupron makes me a bad person. i easily get irritated even on very little things. mood swings is very out of this world. i'm on my day 4 of lupron and i can't control my emotion anymore. i do deep breaths to try to control it but it doesn't work for me. i really have to shout my emotion or else i feel i will burst or die of heart attack. i don't know what to do anymore. i have to be relaxed to have a successful ivf. need your advice.

I am on an IVF cycle. I am the gestational surrogate. I forgot all about my second injection and took it 6 hrs too late. I started spotting since. I am wondering if this is going to ruin the entire cycle. Will just one missed injection ruin the cycle? I cannot find ANY information on the internet to suggest that it would. I wonder if it is ruined. I feel terrible about forgetting but have been on track since. Does anyone know? Thanks.

My wife was just put on Femcon FE for one month in preparation to an IVF Cycle. Today she had an ultrasound and blood work to begin Invetro Cycle and a Cyst the size of the entire ovary was noted in her ovary. We were told that similar cysts and symptoms as listed on this site have been noted by other patients taking the same medication. Don't mean to alarm anyone, but we would not have known about Cyst if ultrasound would not have been done as routine prior to IVF cycle. Beware!!!

This is my second IVF cycle and tomorrow I go for the first ultrasound to be sure everything is suppressed. However, last time I went for this Ultrasound I had my period and they said that was a good thing and if I didn't get it it would be an issue.... well this time I don't have it! what does that mean???
and yes!!! I also have a lot of these side effects I've read on this page after starting the lupron.
I feel like I'm in a fog.... unable to remember / concentrate
I feel a little crazy =) lol. I'm certainly not myself at all. irritable
I also wake up in the night with terrible thoughts unable to sleep.
Fatigue... barely able to make it through the whole day sometimes.
I've gained incredible weight!!!! It's uncomfortable.
but I'm hoping that the outcome will bring us our child =)

I was prescribed Lupron for my first IVF cycle. I have given myself 5 shots of 10 units so far. The last three nights I had night sweats and a little bit of insomnia but nothing that was unbearable. I just took the blankets off and went back to sleep. I think the people who take Lupron for endometriosis take a much higher dose. I don't think IVF candidates should be scared off by Lupron. So far so good!

On my first IVF cycle I took lupron. I took a microdose formulation twice a day for about 10 days. Even though the dosage was small and of short duration, I had very severe night sweats where I'd wake up drenched every single night. I had mild headaches and severe irritability and stress.

I'm on my second IVF cycle and just took my first shot of lupron today. It's too soon to know how the reactions will be, but I just had a major blowout with my mom, so it's either working already or I'm having a psychosomatic rxn. Yikes.

37 yrs old - Tried OVCON 35 for bc before and ivf cycle and the first 2 wks are pure hell. Just call me Cybil. The anxiety is brutal, chest tightening and just can't function in my daily activities. In second week and now I have severe bloating and brown spotting. Uncomfortable around the ovaries - something is definitely wrong with choosing this method of birth control.

I just started Lupron on 2/4 in prepartion for an other IVF cycle ( this is my second), in the middle of the lupron cycle, I will be put on Bravelle and Reponex as well. This the time first time I am doign lupron and I have not had any side effects at all. I am praying that this time around works for me. When I was on Bravelle and reponex the last time, my period last much longer then normal and was very heavy. Has this happened to any one else?
