I've been taking Keflex since January 1 for a leg infection; 3x a day and recently dropped it down to twice a day. I've experienced night time headaches, increased fatigue and starting 2 nights ago, bilateral leg cramps and lower back discomfort. Also feeling more anxious. No more Keflex for me.

Been on this drug for less than one year...have gained 25lbs. never had weight on stomach before, But most pressing problem since January 1, it was very sudden onset with sharp pain, and now it has been a dull muscle pain and weakness in my thighs..can barely walk when I first stand up!..and also treated since October for a stabbing pain in my foot...have had PT, cortisone., multiple xrays....it has subsided at last. I am going off Toprol....my body is absolutely rejecting it. I take no other meds. How do people start going off this...my doctor told me never to go off it abruptly....any suggestions how it has been done without complications.l He did admit to me that medicines are poison, and one has to chose the least worst of them....I don't think so!!!

I've been on Levoxyl for 2 years now. I stopped taking it on January 1, 2004 because of all the side effects (just about all of the ones listed here!). I stopped taking it for 6 weeks and became symptom free. Then, I began to feel fatigued, so I started taking the drug again. Now, all the syptoms have returned. I'm wondering if I was just tired from natural things and should have remained off the drug. So what happens when you just don't take any thyroid drug? Can it be as uncomfortable and serious as all the symptoms we are experiencing because of drugs? I think I'm just going to stop taking it again. My doctor gives about as much help on the topic as nothing!

Return of my sense of smell that had mysteriously been lost almost 10 years earlier! I had a small dry patch at the outer edge of my left eye that just wouldn't go away. My husband has psoriasis and uses MG217 Ointment with success so I tried a very small amount on the area at night for a couple of weeks. Smell returned off and on. I didn't make the connection until I stopped using it and my sense of smell diminished...only to return when I used it again in the same way. I have had a few days beginning January 1, 2009 when I have had a complete, accurate sense of smell. Wow!
