I'm on Welchol for the second time. I've been having a pain in my left shoulder blade and in the left side of my neck, that seems to be related. I took it for a week, had the pain, then stopped it for two days and the pain went away. I'm trying it again (2nd day) and the pain is back in my shoulder blade. I'm still having the vivid dreams I had the last time I took the drug about a year ago, which cause me to sleep so deeply, it's hard to wake up. It also causes me to grind my teeth harder (sleeping so deep) that causes more jaw pain, and pain in the neck. The first time I took this drug was last year, along with Crestor. Talk about vivid dreaming! With the two drugs together I thought I was hallucinating. The first time I also had horrible headaches and sore throat. I just can't understand why they continue to tell us there are no side effects, when clearly there are. We have all experienced them. I wish there was an easy answer.

I began taking Levaquin for a kidney infection. After the first pill (500mg) I had insomnia, joint pain and a little under the weather. I thought maybe it was a combination of the pill and still having the kidney infection. I figured the infection wasn't gone because the first med, Sulfameth/trimethoprim 800/160 I had a reaction too also. That was prescribed for 10day when I only was 4days into it with that pill. So I went from Friday to Monday without any medications. I felt that the kidney infection was still there because I was still hurting, not as bad as when I went to ER but knew it wasn't gone. So Monday night I started taking the Levaquin. Felt bad after the first pill but after taking the 2nd pill I became very weak, had ringing in my ears, eyes started to swell, had sweats nausea, stomach hurt and became very bloated, neck pain so bad I could hardly turn my neck. Pain running down into my shoulder blades, jaw pain, sore throat, nausea, felt like someone was squeezing muscle in left arm and squeezing muscle on left side of neck Started to have some muscle pain in right calf. Call Dr. on call and he said STOP taking the medicine, take some Benadryl and if gets worse go to the ER. Well, I took some Benadryl which made it seem a little better, but this is the day after and my muscles by my shoulder blades are so sore and have a burning sensation. I still feel somewhat weak but not as bad as last night. Seems I tired out real quick. This medicine made me feel like I was on the way out. I was prescribed it for 7 days and only took it for 2. Now I am very hesitant about taking anything as I have had reactions now to 2 different meds. Still don't know if kidney infection is gone or not. Does anyone know of any natural ways to rid yourself of kidney infection? I would appreciate any advice anyone has. All I know this has been 2weeks of @@@@ since I was diagnosed with this kidney infection.

I recently had Novocaine injected for a lower molar crown insertion. After one week I have been experiencing jaw pain, tooth sensitivity (the molar), sore gum's around to the front (top and bottom), some inner ear sensations, headache and neck pain on that side and muscle actions causing my teeth to chatter rapidly. These effects seem to worsen when I lay down or even worse when I drink alcohol.

I'm 25 years old and approx 5 weeks after my second Gardasil injection started feeling sick. It has been 6 months now and still no relief. I have been to the doctor 13 times in the past 6 months, before this vaccine that was how much I was there in 13 years. This experience has been a nightmare and everyday I wake up wishing it was. I have had numerous blood tests, a CT scan, an esophagram, seen multiple doctors and it is so frustrating having them not believe you. I used to be happy, healthy and a social butterfly. Went on a job interview today and felt like I was out-of-body not really knowing what was going on. It is absolutely horrible to know that no one can help and be completely unsure of how long this will last. I just graduated from college and I'm supposed to be starting my life and now it's not knowing if this nightmare will ever end. I have had dizzy spells, chronic sore throat, unbelievable headaches with no relief from any OTC drugs or prescription migraine meds, extreme fatigue, hot flashes, night sweats, dry/itchy/watery eyes, ear pain, side pain, jaw pain. I pray for everyone who is going through this nightmare. ALL I want is to be healthy, feeling like my old self. I would give up everything to just be healthy again, pre-Gardasil.

After an ER trip where I discovered I was a hypo, I've been on Levoxyl 50 mcg for just under a month. I recently informed my doctor on the phone I was experiencing swelling directly under my chin after I took the medicine in the morning and it lasted all day. He told me to stop and come in and see him immediately. It's the weekend and I can't get in until Monday. It's the 2nd day I've been off the hormone and today I have numbness in my cheeks, they are swollen, I can't eat much and feel really depressed. I've been in pain for so long and now it's just getting worse. I don't know if I should take the hormone tomorrow morning to see if I feel better or stay off as advised by my doctor. Reading everyone's comments is helpful, as it's very difficult for my family and friends to relate to me during this time and seem to think I'm over-reacting all the time as the pain never goes away. Levoyxyl seems to make me feel better, but I still have a lot of back and neck pain, as well as sensitivity to light, headaches and jaw pain. I'm 215 on a 5'5 frame, I eat quite healthy, avoid all the trigger foods for the thyroid and try to be active, but I can't seem to loose weight. I'm really not sure what to do with myself and am loosing hope.. I'm 24 and feel like I'm 84.

I was on Advair for less than a year and the Doctor's kept upping my dose. I went off of it for about 4 months last spring because of the weight gain issue. then I got sick with a respiratory infection last summer and Dr. put me on it again -- and I started immediately having jaw pain and terrible headaches. Went to dentist and found out my teeth were disintegrating (called resorption). I go to dentist every 6 months for cleaning and have xrays each year and never had a problem or cavities. Genetically both sides of my family have very strong teeth for their entire life (into their 90's). So I saw many dental specialists and surgeons and it was baffling to them. I'm 44 years old and now my teeth and jaw are a total mess. I've had my front teeth pulled and multiple bone grafts. The reconstruction process (if it works) will take more than a year and over $25,000 (not covered by insurance). And my Doctors still don't know if my other teeth now showing problems will also eventually fail as well.

And I didn't associate the Advair with the problem until I started to take Advair again (2 months after last jaw surgery) and almost immediately my mouth start gushing blood from where the bone grafts were healing. I stopped Advair again -- waited 2 weeks and took it again (just to make sure) and again severe bleeding occurred. I wrote the scientists that were testifying before the FDA's Advair Black Box hearing that this drug should be illegal. At 44 years old I am looking at the prospect of being disfigured for life, no less and issue is the enormous cost that it presents -- and who is going to hire someone with missing front teeth (it has destroyed my career as well).

Before I took Advair I never had joint pain, GI issues, much less teeth/jaw issues and now this is my reality everyday. I feel like I aged 20 years by taking Advair for 1 year. I also know that this damage is permanent and likely to continue to get worse despite having stopped the drug. I think GSK knows how dangerous this really is. I also think it stays in your body a lot longer than they say it does. We know it kills people and they admit it does. STAY AWAY FROM IT!

All Steroids are equally terrible -- stay away from Prednisone, Pulmicort, Nasonex -- they are all killers.

I was put on Lipitor 10 mg. last Spring about 8 mos. ago. I have never taken medications/drugs other than aspirin or Motrin or antihistamines. Since that time I have had a strange combination of unexplained symptoms arise throughout the months. These sx's included: Headaches, stiff neck and severe neck pain, acute shoulder pain, hip pains, joint pains, severe knee pain (tendon or Ligament problems?) and loss of movement, hair loss, jaw pain and some memory confusion. Initially, I had severe HA's for several months, but attributed them to stress, however, I had never experienced HA's as a common occurrence. Then we went away to our Maui house to get away from stress, HA's continued, along with leg and shoulder pains. At the same time, I started noticing several strands of hair falling out if lightly touched my hair to move it out of my face. The pains seemed to move around my body at different times, for no apparent reason. I am used to daily exercise, living in CO in the mountains @ high altitude, not usually having muscle soreness. Now, given my leg and knee pains have gotten so bad, I cannot hike and have difficulty climbing my stairs. Skiing is out. Snorkeling caused leg cramps. No explained reason for having muscle tenderness or soreness without my usual exercise at present time. When the pain leaves one area it tends to arise in a different part of my body. At the present time, my hair loss has subsided, as also my jaw pain and headaches. However, my leg pains and knee pains are so acute (for no apparent reason) it is impossible to exercise and difficult to walk that I looked up adverse reactions to Lipitor, finding all my sx's most probably might be attributed to this drug. Partially my fault for not looking up RX information prior, especially being a medical professional for many years. My husband kept throwing away the info when purchasing the RX. Too many unexplained symptoms, I decided to obtain the drug info. myself. I tended to make excuses for months, such as: I am getting older, under stress, must be an old injury, not exercising properly, need PT therapy etc.... I am dc/ing the drug immediately and have an appt. with my MD on 1/5/09 to discuss.

Initially, my doc told me to take 300mg every am, initially 150mg for a wk,then increase the dose to 300mg total, 150am/pm. Had the initial wt loss of 5-7lbs, also had headache the first week, insomnia, awake almost 18hrs a day, little rested sleep and constipation.
I continued with xanax, docs didn't want this, Rx'd Remeron, that didn't do anything the 1st night, 2nd night bad sleep with vivid dreams of being buried semi alive with other people and having dirt tossed onto us. we were too weak to climb out of the ditch. Too much news these days. 3rd night w Remeron awake all night, 4th night, nothing, continued Wellbutrin. Remeron was started about 2 wks into the Wellbutrin dose.
I was out of Wellbutrin because the pharmacy would not refill due to insurance and I had to get a new Rx because of the increase in the dose.60 pills you figure. MD rx'd a "purple" buproprion, took 1 of them, stopped that immediately because of the nasty nicotinic taste and my tongue felt burned also. Got another rx for the previous bupropion 150mg to be taken twice daily. I had been off the white (first)pill for about 7-14 days by then.
Restarted white 150mg, again the headache, ear ringing, decreased appetite and agitation stimulus, insomnia and beginning to get fatigued from lack of deep sleep. I have an underlying very serious resp condition that this medication began to make worse because of the above symptoms. All of the above symptoms gradually worsened by the days I continued to take this medication. I began to have nausea and could not even think about taking anymore of the buproprion, the thought of it made me ill. I was rx'd it for depression, I am not a smoker, never have been, don't use illicit drugs and am a Registered Nurse.
It began to incapacitate me as I had no interest in anything, I felt weak from the anorexia, insomnia and dehydration, urine was becoming dark yellow. couldn't stand to have anything in my stomach. I had to throw away food, also.
I began having bilateral jaw pain, felt exhausted and had trouble with fine motor skills, was restless/agitated and very constipated. I had to force myself to eat. I took this med for approximately 3 months, but it never did reach the "therapeutic" stage of 4 wks total until the last month because of the Rx interruptions. I stopped it cold because, the jaw soreness was from bruxism or teeth grinding/clenching and I began having large muscles pains and smaller muscle(eye) twitching, I had itching all over , stinging sensations like little fire crackers in my calves, and all previous sore spots became irritated and inflammed. Stopping this med suddenly is only for the brave and you need other meds to get through the withdrawal. It's supposed to have a 33hr half life. It took 1 month for this junk to get out of my system. I felt better the first few days as I was able to eat, drink and get a better sleep. I had to take xanax for sleep, motrin, tramadol, aspirin alternate with motrin, tylenol XS for the muscle pains. zantac, benedryl for the stomach acidity along with Tums. I requested an Rx for Compazine supp. didn't use initially although had bad nausea, it progressed to vomiting for over a week atleast once daily or for some reason at night. I took prednisone 40mg on a taper dose. My lungs became dry as did urine/bowel. I had to take Colace to ease the constipation. My body readjusted to it's old self and now I'm even more angry. I would have gotten through the depression on my own. The vomiting stopped last week, have regained appetite, although did crave sweets/salty/water/milk/protein and green vegetables, etc I took multi vits, and Kefir yogurt drink to restore gut.The reason I'm here is because I, too, just made the connection, I noticed the hair thinning, not just with texture, but along the hairline and scalp.I bought Women's Rogaine tonight. I experienced the symptoms that others wrote about also. I hope the Rogaine works. I will never take this medication again, the muscle rigidity in my thighs/legs and jaw clenching was so repetitive, I was exhausted, even when I willfully tried relaxation, I noticed very quickly the cycling of the muscle tone and it would get tighter and tighter. you can write to glaxo smith kline or go to wellbutrin.com and the FDA to make a complaint. They pulled this drug off the market once before. There is nothing well about Wellbutrin is what I say.

Hello I'm a 41 year old female, and I took Lipitor 20 mgs for 6 months about two years ago. When I called my doctor's office to complain about side effects they told me it couldn't be the Lipitor because I had been taking it for a month already, and would have had problems before that. I eventually took myself off of the drug 5 months later. Here are some of the side effects I experienced:
Itchy fingertips, increased blood pressure, 30lb weight gain, shaky hand writing, acne, poor driving skills, poor memory, hair loss, "frozen joints", IBS, incontinence, low grade fever, itchy feet, numb toes, numb hands, foggy brain, joint pain, muscle pain, foot pain, plantar pain, dizzy, jaw pain, back and neck pain, week ankles and wrists, nasal allergies, skin rashes, migraines, heartburn, Increase in Astham, heart palpitations, knee pain, difficulty standing up from sitting position, difficulty climbing stairs, water retention alternating in feet, hands, arms and legs, almost constant taste of bile in my mouth.
These are only the ones I can remember. Two years down the road everything but the muscle and joint pain and weakness is gone. even those have improved a lot. I stopped taking the Lipitor and lost all 30lbs I had gained on it, without dieting, in a months time. I still have two toes on each foot that are partially numb. I have trouble climbing stairs, and getting up from a sitting position. I can do both, but I move slowly while doing them. The pain in my muscles and joints drives me crazy, but I'm grateful that the rest of the symptoms have cleared up. My doctor never believed me about my symptoms, and neither does my new doctor really. Went to the emergency room for asthma that was not responding to my inhaler, and they were about to let me go home when I mentioned to the doctor that I had been on Lipitor. Suddenly a huge battery of tests were ordered including a CT scan and a stress test. When I asked the doctor why he said that they just wanted to be sure that it wasn't something other than asthma. Why did they do that after hearing about the Lipitor? Do they know something? Are there doctors who believe that statins are killing and seriously injuring people? I'm so angry. Even as I sit here typing I know when I stand up I will have massive amounts of pain that I will have to "walk off". My quadriceps have not recovered, and remain ridiculously weak.
If I can stop one other person from going through this I will be happy. Thanks everyone for taking the time to list your symptoms. It makes me feel better to know that someone believes me, and knows what I am going through.

Took my Boniva pill on a Saturday morning, like it said, empty stomach big glass of water, by 10pm that night, I was doubled over, cramping, wanted to puke but couldn't, I would have sworn I had the flu but no fever etc. The next week, I could hardly walk, I hurt every place, my chest and upper back were really bad, if I didn't know better I would have sworn I pulled a muscle or was having a heart attack, I had very bad jaw pain....it took several weeks to feel better, I felt like a grandma and I am only 45 y/o, with osteopenia, and a history of stress fractures...I would rather have my skin peeled off then ever take this again! I am eating yogurt like crazy and munching on tums. I found another website with HUNDREDS of complaints, of the drug along with complaints of all the others like this...I do not understand how they even still have this on the market....honest to god I want to sue....trying to find a class action suit...not for money..I just want this off the market!!!!

After taking my first pill, I experienced severe jaw pain. I've never had any reaction to any medication in the past, so I wasn't sure what the pain was all about. After taking the second pill my legs felt so weak I could barely walk. I actually woke up and thought I had MS. I called the doctor's office and they said to stop the pills immediately and that those were side effects from the antibiotic. I also, like others reported, received a coupon for a discount on this medicine.

I am a 51 year old male. November 2007 jaw pain sent me to the hospital where they found a 99% block in my right coronary artery, yep 4 stent's. Three month late the same this time 2 stent's and two weeks later 2 more. I now have 8 stent's. My DR. put me on several meds including Zocor. The zocor made me very tired and headaches. He change it to Lipitor 10mg. I have been on it for 7 months and a few day's ago I have notice pain in both knee's and hip. I once again find it hard to concentrate, feel sluggish and have headache's. I NEVER have headache's. Stopped taken the Lipitor, hope the pain goes away. It a shame that the medical field is so quick to put us ALL on drug's, how about herb's instead. I'm going to look into a natural way to lower my cholesterol.

I have had the mirena since early December 2007. Other than spotting for the first 5-6 weeks, things were going fine until June of this year (7 months later). I have not had the acne that people are describing, but I have now developed reflux, horrible pms that lasts for 8-10 days before my period comes, jaw pain such that I can't bite all the way down in the back and strangest of all, an issue with my tongue. It's almost like I've developed a lisp and I have trouble with my S's. I even had a CT scan of my brain to make sure it wasn't neurological. My dentist can't find anything wrong, either. I

've also put on a mystery 5 lbs without changing a thing. I am a personal trainer/fitness instructor, so I am conscientious of eating and exercise. I should have know something was amiss when I trained for a half-marathon and didn't lose one pound.

So, I wasn't able to get an appt with my OB for another couple of weeks. The whole reason I got this thing in the first place was to help control heavy periods which led to anemia and iron supplementation. My periods have gotten SO much better, but I just don't think the pros outweigh the cons. I'm at the point to trying uterine ablation - I also have a recurrence of uterine polyps, so I've got lots to consider. There has to be something else out there, but I find it so strange that so many women have had such similar issues.

Good luck everyone!

Hi Gang,
I have a problem of my own with bactrim, but I want to start this post by saying I am an emergency room physician assistant and I prescribe bactrim all the time due to a number of reasons - one, it does, according to state guidelines, cover MRSA (people misunderstand that MRSA is a PENICILLIN resistant staph - but USUALLY responds to bactrim, levaquin, or cipro (ciprofloxacin). And two, traditionally bactrim is the cheapest and I personally try my best to keep my patients costs down (I have 6 kids and even I cannot afford the $800 a month cost just for insurance so we put money in a health savings account and pay cash for everything - though we rarely go for just "colds" like so many do). But I developed a UTI which tend to be real bad in men as we do not get them as much as women do - this is due to the urinary tract and anatomy differences. Almost ALWAYS a UTI is from E. COLI 80-90% of the time - don't let that scare you as it is a normal digestive enzyme - but outside of the digestive tract or if exposed to an outside source like bad meat - it cause infection), why that matters is some antibiotics, like zithromax, do not cover that bacteria.

Well, to the point. I started on it for my UTI, normal dose, 2 times a day. I noticed I was having some weird dizziness and even slurred speech - no rash. I noted in this blog that people worry SO MUCH about the rash, but the rash is usually not any big deal. We see it, but unfortunately what we see scares us more than what may be going on silently inside of us!

So I have these symptoms and now I have a lump under my jaw that I can hardly open my mouth and still slurred speech. The Mrs thinks I am taking something else or who knows what, but I almost felt like a stroke. No headache, some nausea at times, but no rash. The jaw pain and I guess a left side neck pain are pretty intense today. I am stopping the bactrim and I promise I will be a bit more sensitive to others who I prescribe it to! I was looking for side effects and came across this blog.

I just got done reading a lot of this page, I was in tears. I'm a 23 year old female; I started taking Advair 250/50 (two times a day) about 3 1/2 years ago for COPD. Before my problems started I was working overtime every week, just financed a car a year previous, moved out of my parents and felt like I was on top of the world. Minus my general anxiety and clinical depression, I was only on 2 medications plus an albuterol inhahler.
I kept getting sick, was having trouble breathing, so I was put on Advair; at first It's like I read in almost all these forums...It's a miracle drug! I was able to breathe, but I noticed I was starting to feel pretty lazy, in 2 months I gained 30lbs. I kept taking it along with a lot of other medications for more problems that seemed to keep coming along. In late summer of 2005 I had a seizure while I was at work in a restaurant kitchen. I was opening and had passed out between 4 fryers and a flat-top grill; an ambulance picked me up. I kept getting dizzy spells and vertigo, I started having seizures a few times a week; I was released from my job on a long-term medical leave because of the hazard it was for me to work there. Things kept getting worse, It got to the point of averaging 17 pills a day because of medical problems. Before I got sick I weighed 131lbs, I currently weigh 170lbs. I was having seizures everyday, then every other day, and it slowly decreased over time. I went through so many tests, I'm still going through them. I started having really bad bowel problems which I'm still dealing with; It's sort of like IBS. I also deal with chronic daily stomach/abdominal pain; in a laproscopy, the doctor said that my small intestine looked like "a bag of snakes". Another daily pain that I'm still dealing with mouth/teeth/jaw pain. Although I rinsed my mouth out after each use, I believe Advair royally screwed my mouth up for life. My gums bled everyday, I had to use a kids toothbrush, my gums were peeling off; It was told to me that It's like a mouth yeast infection. The gums over my canines started receding and didn't stop until I quit taking advair. The nerves on my canines are exposed and partially rotted, other teeth have chips and are rotten around them. The gums above my canines are still raised and will still flare up from time to time. I haven't been able to work since August 2005. I've been denied disability twice. I have panic attacks when I'm around people. I'm scared to drive because I've had a seizure behind the wheel. I'm in so much pain everyday that I normally don't move unless It's to use the bathroom. I used to cook 80 hours a week, hang out with friends, and work out. Now, I can't work, can't be around people, and take enough medications to start a pharmacy. It's odd how it all seemed to start when I began Advair. One other thing, I'm constantly coughing up these weird mucas spheres. My advice if you're thinking about taking advair...well, I'll just say if I would have known that this is what it'd do to me, I would have chose bronchitis 4 times a year.

My pain started within a few days of a switch from Fosamax to a generic form. I had been on the med for about ten months and hadn't had anything significant as far as side effects are concerned. First my shoulder blew up with very painful tendinitis and bursitis - doctors said it was likely a strain. Then I had jaw pain a few weeks later and that was supposed to be because of a crown I had done. The latest and worst has been my right hip and right leg to the knee - very sharp and burning pain - really made it impossible to walk. The doctors did not make the connection to fosamax and I think they probably still think I am crazy - but I KNOW that it where it is coming from. I am being treated for the pain with the usual stuff - it has been about two weeks. I think I have a long haul ahead before I feel really great again. The biggest problem with these drugs is that the side effects can present so long after you start the drug that most people don't make the connection. I figure people have been living with osteoporosis forever - so I will risk my osteopenie without any more of this toxic stuff. How many people are out there suffering without a notion that this is the cause - still taking that magic pill once a week?

Am I the only one who has gained a lot of weight while on Lisinopril? I have gained over 40lbs in 3 years. I have also experienced odd muscle cramping and have never made a connection to this and Lisinopril. The pain in my ear, side of my head, and my jaw was unbelievable. ENT dr thought it was TMJ or nerve damage. He was not able to really pin down the exact cause. One month later I was bed ridden with severe back pain, which I have never had before. MRI showed nothing. Headaches are daily, cough, leg cramps, chest pain, decreased sex drive, and definitely have feelings of depression. I have never made the connection between the changes in my personality, health, and lifestyle to this medicine; but now I have. I will be immediately contacting my doctor to discuss alternatives. My BP when I started was 150/90 and now is 112/70. Please let me know if anyone has also had the weight gain like I have experienced. I know I am going to have to have hard facts to show to my doctor. Thank you.

Male 58 years old. Heart Attack and 5 bypass on Jan 23,2008. I was put on Lipitor 80mg. and have had a few muscle pains which I blamed on recovery from the surgery. But, after seven weeks, I began to be exhausted and have jaw pain. Then old injuries to my back and shoulder became very painful. I started to hurt all over in joints and have nerve firing both sciatic and on my groin. my inner right elbow hurt. Then depression came on . My wife suggested I check my medication. I found this site and others and decided to stop the Lipitor . The side effects were 95 % better within 46 hours after stopping the Lipitor. Now, 72 hours later, I only have a little tenderness in the backs of my thumbs. But, even that is greatly reduced.

After 6 hours of taking the first pill, I experienced severe jaw pain. I didn't think much of it at the time. The next morning I took the second pill and soon after, my legs felt like lead and it became difficult to walk. I also was getting sharp pains in my hip - every now and then. I then looked up the side effects on the computer and realized they were from the Avelox. I called the doctor and described my symptoms and advised I would be stopping this medication. I've never had a reaction to any medication I have taken in the past. It's been one day since I've stopped this medication - I still have jaw pain.

Many strange things have been happening to me for the last year and a half, that I did not ever experience before. I just turned 38 years old. I am now suspecting these are side effects from the MIRENA. I want to get opinions about what I'm experiencing and what happens when it's removed.

The most profound thing is the feeling of being in a mental bubble. Even though I'm aware of it and I try to be alert, I feel cloudy minded and can't even rely on myself to remember things or commit to things because I never know how I will feel when I wake up each day. Some days are okay while others are completely LOST because I may have struggled to sleep the night before, sweating and soaking my pillow case and waking up with a rapid heart beat, panicking for no apparent reason right out of sleeping. Or, I'm irritable due to discomfort which takes several forms like these:
- major moodiness, like feeling totally peaceful one minute and then something small triggers me and I'm angry for hours, later realizing that I was overreacting
- visibly shaking hands, especially when I drink just 1/2 cup coffee.
- increased oily skin and acne on face, back, shoulders and even in ears, along with thinning hair around face
- fatigue and stiffness in the morning, so it takes me forever to get out of bed
- off and on fatigue that has me uncontrollably dozing off during the day
- bloated tummy (visible), gas and menstrual cramps in no predicable pattern, but I never go more than a week without these things
- strange libido, one day I wouldn't care if I ever had sex again, the next night wake up horny as heck at 2 am
- ears ringing, jaw pain, mystery pains in back and joints regularly

All along I've been assuming these odd things were stress and age related but the more I think about it, there's just too many things, and these things don't necessarily represent the stress of a typical stay at home mom.
Sure, I have had stress and anxiety in the past, but they could always be connected to something large going on in my life. Now, the anxiety and moodiness hit unpredictably and indiscriminately, it seems. For a long time now I feel like I'm a total mess physically and mentally, even more so because I realize something is wrong
I am pretty sure as of right now that I should get this removed. If the symptoms go away I'll then know what caused them in the first place.
I am wondering what happens upon removal, will it also be a roller coaster of physical and mental anguish???????? How long will it last?

I am a reasonably healthy 57 year old male, 6' 1", 220 lbs. I started taking Lisinopril 10mg about 1 year old for HPB. My BP was all over the chart, but averaged at about 160/80. After being on Lisinopril for about 1 week, I noticed that my BP would be about 130/70 in the mornings, but jump back up to about 150/75 in the evenings. I have never achieved the 120/70 range that others talk about. It was also at this time that I developed the tickle and dry cough. I lose sleep by waking up coughing. The cough also comes on at any time, day or night. Sometimes I cough until I feel my head is going to explode. I never cough up anything. Always dry.

Over the last year, I have had other side effects that have come and gone and come back again. Among them have been itchy skin, numbness in fingers and toes, chest pains (EKG's and stress tests were fine), stomach pains, back pain, jaw pain, pounding heartbeat, racing heartbeat, loss of sex drive, erectile dysfunction, vivid dreams (when I sleep), feelings of dread and recurring thoughts of something happening to family members.

Since I do not have any prescription coverage in my insurance, I was happy to find a $4.00 drug, but now that the refills have run out, I think that I will ask the doctor for something else.
