Anxiety here too. Just want to say I took a dosage of Boaxin last June 2005 and it took 10 months to get close to back to normal. I experienced panic and fear of just about everything. The wind would blow and it was somehow a scary experience. Had trouble sleeping, heart palpitations, thoughts of going crazy. 12 months later and I would say that I still think about what I went through every day. I am 95% back to where I was before. Wondering how long it took others to get back to normal?

I started on Advair in June 2005. I am a public speaker and this past fall started having a lot of trouble with losing my voice. Went to the Dr. in Dec. and had a nasty yeast infection in my throat. Went on an antibiotic for 15 days and did not clear it up. Got a refill in Feb. and finally got rid of the infection. Decided I couldn't do my job on Advair, so went off of it last week. Didn't realize I might have side effects going off of it.....I am feeling very anxious, hard to concentrate and am having tingling in my arms, hands, and feet. Should I be concerned, or will these symptoms subside? Thinking I should have seen the Dr. before discontinuing - any thoughts?

I have been taking Lisinopril since June 2005. My BP was about 145 /80 at that time. The BP has since dropped to 124 /70 and has held there. Once a day I have been taking 5MG (1/2 of a 10MG) and have experienced some of the same symptoms as noted in this site. A dry cough or tickle developes deep in the throat and a heavy mucus flow in the back of the throat starts when I go to bed in the evening. This can last up to an hour before I fall asleep. The only dizziness that I have felt is getting up very quickly from a low position(off the floor etc) but this is only occasionally. No real fatigue noted as I am active and exercise fairly often. I am 72. The only other medicine I take is a 12 1/2 MG water pill (Hydrochlorothiazide) per day. On my next MD visit I'm going to tell him I am going to try the Lisinopril every other day and see if the cough and mucus problems improve.

I am 58 years old , I have a family history of heart disease. I have had 7 heart attacks since the age of 39 in 1986. My blood pressure has always been a little low even though I was a smoker. My normal bp for the last 20 years has been approximately 115/75. I had a quintuple by-pass in 1997 at the age of 50. I have done GREAT until April 20, 2005. I had another MI, and 6 days later, April 26,2005 I had another MI. I was prescribed lisinopril. Since approximately mid June, 2005 I have had EXTREME anxiety and mild depression. My PCP and Cardiologist tell me it is not the lisinopril. I do not believe they could possibly know ALL the side effects of lisinopril!! Any one out there with this problem???

I had two Kenalog shots in June 2005 for hayfever/ allergies. The first one on June 12th- 60mg (worked for only a week), and then another one June 19th -80mg. I told the Dr. I felt it too high of a dose but he felt if the first didn't take I needed a higher dose and it wasn't harmful. However in response to Guest #12186 and Guest #12312. I have now officially been on my menstrual period for 50 STRAIGHT DAYS- NON STOP!! I am 36 years old and until reading this web site I was concerned I had some horrible problem going on. I do have a Doctor's appt next week which I will still go to but hearing your same horrible side effects gives me some comfort. Is there anything your Doctors advised you to do on this? Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I am 45 and started taking Lipitor in December 2004. Iy lowered dramtically the cholesterol count from 225 to 130. After my first 3 month supply ended (with no side effects), I got another order but since I am an avid golfer, came up with horrible tendonitis near my left elbow (i.e. tennis elbow) while diligently practicing for a tournament in June 2005. The pain was so bad, I could not wash my hair after the golf round. I have never had an ache like this in my entire life. It then went into my right elbow. I halved my dose from 20 mg to 10 mg by taking every other day. After reading the posts here, I will now go cold turkey and see if the pain goes away. I have another golf tournament in 2 weeks which I will start practicing for again. It will be very interesting to see if this flares up again. I still have mild pain in both elbows right now. How can we get this information to the FDA? It is too important.

I've been tapering for 7 months since my last infusion of pred, I started in June 2005 with 1000mg a day for 3-5 days in a row, I've had about 4 of them at 1000mg for 3-5 days afterwards I tapered from 180mg a day each time and am now down to 3mg's daily, my total since this eye disease started is about 30,000mg of prednisone, it's the only thing that gets my vision back and eye pain to go away. the sleepless nights, extreme hunger, hump on my neck, swollen legs...I hate this stuff but even with taking methotrexate, I still need it. visit my site www.daicompacific.com/thyroid.htm to see what I've been through. Thanks Steve Duran
