i am so happy i have found this site! ive had the mirena coil removed just the other day (Thursday 16th oct) im now hoping that all the symptoms ive been suffering will fade away. i had my coil inserted a year ago last October. since having it inserted i have experienced headache, light periods that last around ten days which seem like forever every two weeks, with spotting in between which i was was told seven months after insertion by the doctor it would calm down and be less frequent but did that happen? NO! slowly but surely around two and a half month ago i started experiencing achey back pains where no matter how hard you try and get comfortable its impossible till it subsides, mild abdominal pain, pain in my neck and shoulder blades, chest pains, breast pain, shortness of breath, tearful, and paranoia thinking that theres something terribly wrong and im going to die and constant moaning about my ailments which im sure my poor boyfriend is secretly tired of! i just thought to myself hopefully putting two add two together that it may be the mirena coil thats making me feel so unwell. i have bled since having it taken out but i think thats the norm. so two days on im looking at this site that i found and its given me hope to know im mot the only one thats suffered with these awful side effect. im still going to get a check up to rule anything els out but im quite sure that its the coil that has done this to me. my advice to anyone would be don't have it fitted or get it taken out! good luck.

I am 43 year old financial advisor at the second largest bank in the United States. I have always considered myself in very good athletic shape. Three star athlete in baseball, football and basketball in high school. I went on to letter for four years as captain of a division I baseball team. After college I continued to run, work out, and manage/play baseball up until this day. It was at my routine physical that my Dr diagnosed me with hypertension. No surprise I thought as being under plenty of pressure at work. My blood pressure was140/85.
Although I continue to work out three to four time's per week my weigh has spiked from 190lbs to 208 lbs in the year and a half that I have been taking Linsinopril. Until I found this web site I couldn't explain the cough, pain in the left side of my neck or the feelings of emptiness/depression that have followed me around like a cloud. That is when I can get out of bed and function that is. I used to be happy and fun loving. The person that you wanted to be around. I truly believe that this drug( that I have heard contains snake venom) is a big reason why I haven't been myself. I am not the type of person to spend time researching the internet and have always been skeptical of nuts writing or responding to any one or thing over the internet. I consider myself to be fairly rational and sane. However, this drug has made me dull and empty. My lowered sex drive almost ended my marriage. For a year in a a half I have been in a psychotic hell. I never thought about questioning my Dr. until recently when my marriage almost ended as a result of my feelings and anxiety attacks. Although my blood pressure is 115/70 my life has been a mess. I find it hard to believe from the posting here that only 1% of users of Lisinopril have suffered any type of serious psychological reaction to this drug. Perhaps the clinical trals focused on rats or elephants, but certainly not living humans.

I have since stopped taking Linsinopril (two weeks now) and the sun is beginning to come through the clouds again. If you have been taking this drug I plead with you to stop immediately as it seems enough clinical data was ever taken to fully understand the impact of this drug.

I hope that someone else does actually read this post and find it useful enough to impact their life. STOP TAKING THIS POISON

I took Lipitor for 2 years with all the pain in my shoulder, hand and arm as well as fuzzy memory. I had a friend over for Lunch an have no memory of anything that happened including his arriving and leaving on his Harley and we all know how loud they are. I ended up in the hospital with all kins of tests including an MRI all of which I have no memory of to this date. My hospital bills are still coming in as well as all the Doctors that saw me. I just received my Divorce and then this happened , I was out of work for a week , the Doctors thought I had had a heart attack, stroke or aneurysm.I also had all the foot pain making it impossible to stand up , leg cramps, sleeplessness, sheer exhaustion, depression, headache and nausea. The Doctor at the Hospital took me off of the Lipitor and said to take a 325mg. aspirin daily . This happened on March 23, 2008 . I am felling better but I still pain in my shoulder , neck , stomach , and feet and legs but is nothing like it was. Here I am left with a few thousand dollars of Doctor and Hospital bills. Why can`t something be done about all of this we are all going thru? I called the FDA to report it and got no where. Did I really expect anything to happen ! I hope someone gets something done for us . I would be one of the first to sign up to take Lipitor off the market and get what is due us.

I took a 10 day Rx of Avelox 400mg for a sinus infection the day after Thanksgiving. I am a 60 year old male. Since then I have had a throbbing headache on the right side of my head. I also had severe tightening of my neck muscles. I went to a chiropractor (first time ever) and he put in the sweat and bake machine and then manipulated my neck. I have had 4 sessions of this and my neck is back to normal. The headaches remain. I went back to the same medical group (different Dr.) to see about the headaches. After a complete exam he could find nothing. (we didn't talk about the drug - I had no idea of the complications). Now I am scheduled for CT. I will let this forum know if it was the drug.
