This drug is absolute poison and should be banned from US markets. I have increased fever decreased urination rash on face and neck a cough. My doctor who prescribed me this poison examined me today an ruled out an adverse reaction. I guess as with most MDs his overwhelming arrogance wouldn't allow him to make an error by giving me this absolute poison in a pill. This poison should be evaluated by the FDA and some sort of screening should be done to see if you are allergic to this miserable drug. After reading all of these stories I am truly disgusted that the poison is so frivolously prescribed. We are test subjects ginnea pigs lab rats. Let's shoot from the hip and see if it works. I am pissed off!

I'm posting again to let all of you know that you can remove mirena yourself!!!After calling several doctors to try to make an appointment ASAP i couldn't find one that would do it soon enough,so i started to research how to remove it...I found how to do it on the FDA website...it was not hard to do, if you can feel the string you can get it out, just pull very slowly, that is what the doctor will do anyway....it didn't hurt bad just a little pulling feeling... FOR ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE BEEN HAVING TERRIBLE SIDE AFFECTS LIKE I WAS PLEASE GO TO THE FDA WEBSITE WWW.FDA.COM..THERE IS A LINK YOU CAN CLICK ON TO TELL THEM ABOUT THE PROBLEMS YOU ARE HAVING FROM MIRENA...THAT'S THE ONLY WAY WE CAN HELP TO MAKE THEM AWARE OF THIS, AND HOPEFULLY STOP THEM FROM USING US AS LAB RATS!!!!

I was put on Cipro for 10 days for a sinus infection and it did nothing so I went back to the doctor and was prescribed Avelox. I took my prescribed dose of 1 400 mg tablet once daily and after the third dose began to feel some very strange sensations. I started cramping and hurting from my elbows to my finger tips as well as I started having night sweats, tremors/jerking when trying to go to sleep which is another story in itself. I may have gotten 9 hours sleep in 4 days. All of this over a sinus infection. I guess we are simply being lab rats for the Rx companies.

First off, I want to thank everyone who has posted on this site. My heart goes out to all of the mothers/fathers who feel lied to by their physician, and to all of the young ladies, like myself, who chose to take this shot in order to protect myself and my partners. I have had two shots and WILL NOT receive my third.
I am a healthy 24-year-old woman who started my GARDASIL shots February 08'. The first shot, no problem. Second shot, wow. I felt like I was literally going to break. All of my joints, muscles hurt and felt very, very weak. I went to bed with a 102 fever, huge swollen glands, sore throat and cold sweats. I called my doctor and she said I "probably had the flu before I got the shot and I was just feeling my illness now.." she dubbed my issue an "coincidence". Well, I believed her because I wanted to. I didn't want to think I put myself in harms way, so I went on.
Well it's been 7 months and I can tell you my memory loss, muscle pain and bouts of depression have been a big issue. These are all things I have never dealt with in the past. Could it be GARDASIL, I'm not 100% sold that it is, but I am not throwing that idea out either.
I am really starting to struggle with the idea that we don't know the long term side effects yet.
Looks like we are all Lab Rats.
In seek of the truth,
L.

I can not believe what I'm reading. My 5 year old was also given Singulair to treat asthma/allergies. He began having night terrors that increased in intensity over the past year. I stopped the Singulair on July 1 and the night terrors have reduced greatly. I am concerned about his asthma though. He has a consistent cough at night and I feel like he needs some type of treatment. Any suggestions?

I am a 41-year old female with allergy induced asthma, who has been taking Singulair for almost 1 1/2 years now. I was diagnosed with depression about 5 years ago (after my sister's death) and was taking 100mg of Zoloft daily, which my doctor upped to 200mg around the same time I started Singulair for allergy problems. I did not know about the Singulair/depression warnings until searching today on Google for drug interactions on the meds I take in hopes of trying to find a reason for my overwhelming depression. For the past 1 1/2 years, I have lived like a zombie, numb to the world and my family, gave up a $72K job, gained alot of weight, have the weirdest and most vivid dreams, and am tired all of the time, only finding rest after 10-15 hours of sleep per day. I am a working professional, have a Master's degree, and have always considered myself a rational objective person, and not a "lemming" that follows the rest over the cliff. However, the side effects I am experiencing ARE NOT NORMAL and ARE NOT IMAGINARY. I do not know if Singulair is causing my symptoms or not, however, I am going to stop taking the medicine today, and switch to something else. For me, QUALITY OF LIFE is the major issue. While Singulair works great to help me breathe comfortably, I can find other meds to do the same thing. However, what I cannot take is a medication possibly responsible for taking my "life" away.

I have been on Lyrica for almost 2 years for nerve damage and fibro. I have gained approx. 60 pounds since starting it and now have arthritis in my back. I finally took myself off because the side effects outweighed the benefits. I ha a hard time concentrating at work, dizziness, severe weight gain, bloating and frequent urination. I also have IC (bladder condition), so the frequent urination was also killing me.

I have been taking Lisinopril for several years. I am 52 years old. I have had terrible scratchiness and coughing at night. As soon as I lay down it starts. I am sweating terribly for no reason. I worked with a personal trainer all last year but could not lose any weight. I have gained weighed and very large waist. After reading this column I feel that all of these side effects are coming from taking this pill. I am also taking Zocor so that is what I am looking up next. Have a dr. appt. this week and I am getting off all of this..... I am so excited to think that there is a reason why I couldn't lose any weight and only gain. My stomach also looks bloated quite a bit. Does the sweating relate to anyone else out there? I didn't hear too much on that from other writers. Please let me know!

Mental meds are destroying our bodys and minds.. I would reccomend to any one going on marijuana, smoked once or twice daily and tramadol/Ultram for spot relief of depression and anxiety. The marijuana WILL help you if you are bipolar or schizophrenic or just depressed. I have noticed that it can sometimes help or hurt anxiety which i have a big problem with.. I choose to just spot treat with tramadol or xanax.. both have potential for addiction but who the hell cares? there not going to leave you dead or dying like like seroquel and other like drugs.
Don't let your doctor kill you.. THE FDA IS NOT YOUR FRIEND...
It's time we all realize that and stop being there lab rats. You only get one body, one life.. do what ever you have to do to live it.. thats my 5 cents :)

Okay, I have been on Yasmin for about 3-4 months now, and the first month I had almost no side effects, I felt fine. But then by the second month I had waves of awful nausea that still have not gone away so I have decided to switch methods--I'll probably get the shot, depoprovera. However, I fear nausea with this too, since my bidy doesn't seem to like synthetic hormones. The nausea gets worse whenever I got to work because I have to stand at my job. It's a truly miserable feeling. Even after skipping today's, I still feel sick and am having night sweats. I know I am not pregnant because I just had a full period last week. This is just from my experience, but Yasmin is a horrible drug. It will make you feel miserable. It will make you feel dizzy, incredibly nauseated, and weak. I think combination pills are too much hormones to be injected into a person on a daily basis. After all, we're not lab rats! We're human beings. I hate Yasmin and after I find a new method, I will never revert back to it! Ever!

Just so you all know this, clonidine is used by sleep researchers to destroy REM sleep in lab rats. I gather that for some folks sleep does not become an issue, but I didn't sleep more than two full nights during the entire 9 months or so I took this filth. On average, I only got 2-3 hours, which was devastating. I also had perpetual sinus congestion, the worst I could imagine. And my eyesight was compromised. Everything got better, dramatically, when I was eased off this drug (my eyesight, however, has never returned to the 20/20 I had before, and in fact is pretty mediocre now). However, don't try going off this drug on your own, or fast. You must EASE off it over a period of weeks or more, else you could have a potentially fatal BP rebound into hypertensive crisis.
