Yr later Sept bloated tummy, anxiety attacks, paranoid, tummy flutters, pushing sensation.. Odor, discharge something’s wrong
Next day….Marina removed, antibiotics, bacteria infection
Lab test all negative.
Next four weeks…. Barley any sleep, barley any food, depression, anxiety, out burst, rage anger, sadness, self verbal destruction, blaming self, tossing turning, moaning, soul hurts, very moody up and down, no patience, confusion, face breaking out…looking pale, skinny, unhealthy….It’s like a drug addict addicted to drugs but this is addicted to the guy who got her pregnant… no drugs ,no alcohol,
Call radio station, ask why are they not making sense…
TV.. fate/Destiny, symbolic meaning meant to be…..
Reality. .NOT an option….
25 yr old who got me pregnant was a fling off and on a yr..
Convinced self…… had to be with him ,loved him,
Drove over to his house daily,
Called daily, text daily,
Believe the earth was putting signs of fate and destiny to be together with him

Couldn’t be in public, took time off from work, saw counselor, who said needed anti- psychotic pills, depression pills, and sleep pills have hormones checked, thyroid level…. Alice in wonderland can’t separate reality from fantasy.
Saw another doctor, had test….white blood cells moderately high have to go do more testing. doctor said doesn’t need hormones checked…. said ADHD need meds again…
Feel crazy, feel like losing mind, drifting in and out of thought conversation, space out get into trance like sate, and feel as if I can’t control self,
Have to be with this guy, have to protect him. Pregnant because of him,
Convincing self destine to be together, family marriage future with guy..
Other times acceptance of rejection from him, never wanted to be together.
Lost three weeks of work., keys to car taken, keep texting him calling him…Girlfriends tell to stop….Ignore her..
What’s real and what’s not. Keep repeating questions seeing signs, from TV, radio, he wants me……he needs me…All in my head??? Everyone tells me…All in my head..
Can’t take ADHD pill, can’t sleep,….Confusion, blurry vision, see colors…..What’s real???
Snapping at family, angry, disbelief,he wants me….
Reality. Is he doesn’t can’t accept it….
Family thinks I’m loosing my mind…am I?
Over a guy? Who was just a fling? Who I thought was the One….

Still going Oct 28th..Removed Sept 28th 09…..after removal instantly feel better then BOOM!!! Downhill spiral of emotions began’s…..Still feel very clouded in her head, confusion expression......head tells her the opposite of what the family tell's her...
What can I do as a mother with great concern???? How do I get her back to the happy,outgoing,confident 19 yr old she was????

17/2/09 I was prescribed Keflex 500mg 3 times a day (every 8 hours) last week after being told that the symptoms I had were possibly due to a kidney infection and to take this over the weekend & ring for the results of the lab test on the urine sample given early Monday morning - I experienced loss of appetite, lower back pain, tingling in my lips & the side of my face(by Sunday night that occurred) severe foot cramps, pains in my leg & stomach pain - my husband advised me Sunday night to stop taking the drug until I had spoken to the surgery. (incidentally the Doctor had been wrong the lab tests showed no kidney infection!!) following cessation I woke up this morning with my whole body drenched in sweat!! My appetite though has returned. I will never take it again!! & all because of a wrong diagnosis!!

5-12-08 Was put on 25mcg in Mar. 08. because of Hashimoto Disease &
Hypothyroidism. At first had more energy & no symptoms. After a month
severe pain in joints especially in hands & left wrist. Muscle spasms in
thighs, calves & shoulders. Neck & back pain. Also headaches. Am
bloated all the time and can't seem to lose weight. Force myself to stay
active, but difficult to do. Irritable because of pain. Oh yes, on l-7-08 my
TSH was 4.270 & 4-29-08 my TSH was 4.430 & Dr. doubled my Levothyroxine to 50mcg & after that above symptoms doubled to
excruciating. After reading this web site no one mentioned extreme dry
mouth, throat & nose with a metallic taste in their mouth as I have. Let
me know if anyone has had this problem. Thank God for this site & thank
all of you that confirmed my problems was not in my head like doctors
want you to think. Thanks M.

I am a 25 year old, who was perfectly healthy prior to recently when I was diagnosed with Nephritic Syndrome and Minimal Change Disease and possibly FSGS (kidney diseases) I was put on 60 mg of Prednisone for 1 month then I was lowered to 40 mg for one month and I am then dropping to 30 mg. I am also taking Fosamax for my bones and a Vitamin D pill because my last lab test showed low vitamin D levels.

I am dizzy constantly and can not live a normal life, I can not drive or do any activities that I had previously done. My chest is so tight and constricted all of the time, my heart rate is so fast and pounds at my chest. I have no energy to do anything, I can barely open a door at times. I am beginning to grow unwanted hair on my face. My abdomen is always bloated. I have pain in my rib cage, and shoulders. I feel very sore throughout my entire body. I do not really sleep at night, so I look very tired all the time.

I have actually lost weight, I have no appetite at all. I am down 10-15lbs.

Now for the Pro- my Kidney Diseases are currently in remission and this has happened much faster than the Nephrologist had thought.

I am very anxious to getting my life back to normal and getting off the Prednisone.

Has any one else experienced increased heart rate, chest tightness, or rib pain?

O>K> here i am again. After taking Levaquin back in the spring I SUDDENLY developed a severe case of arthritis!!! Imagine? I had a UTI and then wham!!! Can"t walk joint painb beyond belief! Now it"s Almost November and my knees are still killing me and my hands, the joints are so swollen,. The doctor can"t understnad why this happened. She sent me to a rheumatologist and my counts went so drastically up he thought the lab test was a mistake. ThankYou, Levaquin!!!! Marsh

My doctor started me on Mevacor a few months ago at 40 mg - I could hardly stand up to walk - my back was killing me! Then she put meon 5 mg of Zocor - okay for the first few weeks, and my cholestorol went down so she told me to double it to 10 mg - then the leg cramps started. I stopped taking if for a few weeks and restarted at 5 mgs (again) last week - now my legs are aching and my ankles are swollen big time. Also noticing fatique and some blues/depression. I told my doctor today that I am not taking it anymore! Not asking her, TELLING her.

I want people to know my story. I am an RN of 23 years currently 44 years old. I was on Lipitor for 5 years started at 39. It did it job with lowering the blood levels etc.

Ten months ago I developed numbness, tingling and burning pain in my entire lower legs. I could not stand in one place it made the pain worse. I work ten hour shifts and I am on my feet the whole shift. I remember coming home and I could not stand the pain in both legs. Feet both would go numb. No back or disc problems. They ruled out diabetes. I had developed a perpheral neuropathy. Neuroton does help take the pain away folks. I would take 300mg at night at needed. I had the restless leg at night. My MD did not think much of all this ran the blood tests and that was about it. I kept mentioning it. Mind you my 47 year old MD also takes Lipitor.

Next fatigue exhausting I can't get out of bed fatigue. I have missed more days at my job in the 20 years I have been employed there. I knew something was wrong as I was so exahusted. I could hardly finish me shift. I got short of breath at the end of me shift.

I took MYSELF off the lipitor. Things got better a little. Four weeks later I still have the severe calf pain, fatigue still missing work, . Now more lab tests are orderd.

Ask your MD to do CPK levels on you this tells you if you have muscle injury or damage.Ok I have been off Lipitor for 4 weeks and my CPK level that I asked to be drawn is 1,225 normal high is 190. I have muscle injury and damage. I hope it is reversible. No wonder why I could not get out of bed.

Ask for those CPK levels. I think any prudent MD should check CPK levels along with the liver enzymes periodically.

I still have more lab test pending. I am on steroids prednisone for 10 days. I hope I can make it to work soon -they are shooting up all my vacation time with this.

This drug caused me a lot of pain , emotional distress, time lost from work.......... stress period. With my RN knowledge I have thought of possibly looking more legally into a Pfizer lawsuit. However; I live in Kalamazoo a lawyer my take my case but I would bet not many MD's in this town who their drug reps bankroll in free lunches and lavish gifts may not back me.

Educate yourself from my story and don't have to suffer atleast 10 months maybe 12 by now. I missed social and family events........... I was always in bed and could not get up just to shower and get ready for work.

Has anyone on Lisinopril experienced changes in lab test values? My fasting glucose level is high; cholesterol & triglycerides high; HDL low; LDL high. Also, am slightly anemic. I have been on this drug for a year & had never seen my lab tests so out of whack. My blood pressure has been great on this drug. I haven't gained/lost any weight. I do feel so sleepy & don't have my usual energy anymore at all. Would rather be sleeping than most anything else these days. Also, my arms & legs & eyes feel fatigued much of the time -- almost like a kind of "buzzing" in my arms hands & feet too. Also, get lots of flutters in my chest at times, which feel like skipped heartbeats. My heart beats fast at times, for no apparent reason. And I feel out of breath for no apparent reason. What's up with this drug???

hey everyone i'm just surfin' through the site of what to do if i missed takin' my med.(levo)and i found this... i'm kind a relate to all your problems about the medication.. i'm takin' 100 mcg. for about 5 months now and i do have all the side effects you guys felt...muscle cramps on the leg and sometimes in my arms too..painfull headaches and others..my question is what if i missed my med. for more than a month lets just say about a month and a half now, reasons are:1st, i missed place my med,that time is was on vacation, second i have to wait days for the appointment to get it and lab test need to be done before they will get a new one .. is that really a big a deal... help with this is really appreciated...

I have been on Lipitor for almost 18 months. Initially.When I first started the med, I did not have any side effects like others. I felt absolutely fine. Recently, I had to take a epidural for back pain. Shortly, afer that experience, Lipitor began to show it's true colors so to speak. I became numb in teh genitals and impotent. My doctors could not find anything wrong. All lab test and the prostrate was normal. I had absolutely no sensation whatsoever. I was devastated since I really enjoy sex. As of today, I stopped taking this terrible drug and expect a miracle very very soon.

Disappointed

For a year I had all the symptoms of hyperthyroidism, rapid heart beat, muscle weakness, no sleep, bulging eyes, weight loss, etc., but the drug Evista masked the thyroid lab tests. When I ceased taking Evista, a subsequent lab test showed extreme hyperthyroidism. No doctor treating me knew of the connection. After treatment with nuclear medicine, I became hypothyroid and required Levoxyl. Dosage is monitored and has remained at 75 mcg for two years. I am "cured" because my thyoid is now normal, and I have absolutely no side effects from the Levoxyl. I am a 70-year-old woman who hates to take pills, but this is mandatory. I had lost 15 pounds and in two years have gained 5.
