At about the time i started to take Lipitor (10 mg) two years ago, I started to experience severe neck pain which I attributed to spending 8 hours bending over y laptop. I went through physiotherapy, and the therapist recommended a cylindrical pillow which proved o be quite effective. However, my biceps tended to be sore when I woke up. Last week I suffered excruciating pain in the right hip joint. My doctor appeared to finally link my problems to Lipitor advised that i stop taking Lipitor immediately. The hip pain subsided within a couple of days, but a vague feeling of fatigue and dizziness persist.

I was first placed on 5mg and that didn't work to put me to sleep so the doctor increased it to 15mg and it worked great for the first month. I'd get back from work lat around 1am, shower, lay in bed with the laptop and pop in a movie until i felt sleepy. Then i'd would literally loose consciousness like an hour after taking the pill. What i mean by that is i never felt myself get sleepy I just somehow passed out and woke up like 3-5 hours later with the laptop on my stomach. I'd wake up confused thinking "when in the hell did i fall asleep? i don't even remember getting sleepy" so i turn off the lap top and fall back asleep. But it would be so hard to wake up. and it left me feeling sedated at work, all day. I even think it effects my appetite by causing me to eat more. but in the second month it doesn't really work as well, it just take it longer for it to put me to sleep... I noticed the max dosage was 15 mg so asking the doctor to increase it is probably out of the question unless i switch to another sleeping pill like Ambien. insomnia sucks..
