Last thing i need symptoms and conditions

After taking macrobid for about a week to treat my UTI, I developed chronic hives. It's been over 4 months now and I am still suffering badly. I was prescribed oral steroid for a week at first but it hasn't really helped. The hives keep coming back. I take claritin every day which helps a little bit but only temporarily. This is the last thing I need when I am trying to get pregnant. The stress of it all. If your doctor prescribes Macrobid (Nitrofurantoin-Maco), beware of the side affects!

I have been on nuvaring for almost three weeks. After reading these posts, I am wondering if this is why I have been feeling so exhausted and unmotivated. It seemed to start three days after I put it in. I could barely enjoy the camping trip I went on. I am turning 41 next month and am on it to help with getting rid of complex ovarian cysts, extreme PMS, and very painful periods. I have not noticed any weight gain or uncomfortable bloating or breat tenderness, which I like. However, I am thinking this might explain why I am totally exhausted. I suffer from chronic pain and notice that I feel worse lately and the last thing I need is more chronic fatigue. I think since I started having chronic pain after a car accident, I have not been able to tolerate BC pills though in the past, I didn't do too badly on Mircette and a couple of other things. Loestrin was the worst ever. I am wondering if anyone can tell me if the depression goes away on the Nuvaring?

I have gained over 25 pounds since starting the nuvaring 1 year ago. I have very tender breasts sometimes, but not to the point of stopping. I never gained weight on any of the pills or even the patch. Has anyone else had this problem? The weight gain is about enough to make me quit using it altogether....but I am wondering if it is even the NR doing this.

i know exactly how you feel, i feel the same.. well the depression/anxiety part. My poor boyfriend.. i told him that ive been having these horrible thoughts that i have lost my feelings for him.. and i told him that thats NOT what i want.. hes trying his hardest to understand, but i guess its hard for him.. i feel so horrible at what im doing. The last thing i need is to lose him now.

i went and saw my doctor today, 2nd day off yasmin... He told me its very likely my body just got overwhelmed, what with the pill and stress at work and then this cold that i just ran out of endorphins.. hence the lack of feelings for my boyfriend. friends and family.

im trying to be as patient as possible, i want this nightmare to end... im finding it so hard to stay positive, but im not doing too bad at the moment. I have moments where i feel like me again, but they are rare... i hope they just become more and more often until they are finally back for good.

THANK YOU! I just realized that the same company makes Yasmin and Mirena. Coincidence?

I sincerely hope that more docs get better informed about the 2 drugs. Mirena costs about $500.

Mirena sounded good initially. I appreciate you telling me your story.

I am so embarassed to be on paxil. The doc said that I am not depressed, I need it for anxiety. Let's hope I don't get side effects. Last thing i need are side effects.

Hello everyone! I've got a terrible cold and a sinus infection.
Hello gypsi....Hello sanndiego........This cold has knocked me down pretty good. Still losing a few pounds, still have the sweating and insomnia Been off of pred. since June 10th. Sometimes my hands tremor. Today I want a huge bag of potato chips Ugh! Last thing I need but sure sounds good. Ha. Hope u r doing good out there. Trying to fight the fever and the sniffles.
