Hi: I've been on Lisinopril for over a month. It has dropped my blood pressure which was getting really high down to, say, 135/70 varying by day.
However, I keep experiencing issues while taking the drug. I woke up the other day with blurred vision in my left eye. I keep getting mild headaches after awakening. I felt ok for 5 days last week. Normal actually, then Sunday I felt tired, headache, fatigued. I don't know if it's my BP causing the issues or the medication.
I never had HBP until I had to stop running due to foot problems and leg problems. Now, I can't get any good cardio exercise and I think it's affected my BP.
Regards, P.

My Mirena Removal....
So i posted here a few weeks ago after I found this site. I had EVERY side effect listed and was so freaked out that i immediately made an appointment for removal.
For those of you reading and wondering what the removal is like..
Well, NOTHING like the insertion. I was so so nervous and it was over before we actually started. The DR was surprised that i was back in his office to have this removed. He then proceeded to do an ultrasound to be sure it was placed properly before removal. And yes, all was OK on the position of it. I explained to him my reasons and he looked at me like he had never heard this before. I honestly can not imagine with all the women he sees that NONE of them have complained. But...as I was getting dressed afterwards, I took a good look in his office. There was Mirena literature ALL over the place. In fact, that was the ONLY thing he was advertising. Not to mention...they made me pay up front with the insertion back in Nivember...billed my insurance and I still have yet to receive my reimbursement. Oh yeah, and that...they charge more than the actual Mirena costs, then they bill your insurance for the price they know they will pay and the DR then makes about $150 profit. Nice.
Ok, back to my side effects post Mirena. The removal was not painful at all. I did spot for about a week- nothing too heavy but it was clotty and def there.
A couple of days after the removal it felt like I was coming out of my skin something terrible. I figured this was my body adjusting to the lack of hormones. I also had some headaches.
It has now been 2 weeks and the spotting has disappeared. I also can see the bloating of my stomach is starting to go away. It looked like I was about 4 mos preggo while I was on it. I also have an increased sex drive. And sleep-- well let me tell you, I have not slept this good in a very long time. I am actually sleeping more than 6 hours now and the night sweats have also discontinued.
I can't believe EVERY time I come to this site and look up Mirena ALL the people that have posted their experience as being negative. Yet, the DR looks at me like I am crazy! I have been seeing him for years and I have never complained about something like this. I really am so happy that I have it out and wish I would have done my research on this prior to insertion (which was one of the most painful things ever!)
So..for those of you out there that are either contemplating having it inserted...I say NO WAY. And for those of you out there that are nervous about the removal or not sure..I SAY YES, DO IT! For our bodies to be reacting this way, it is clear to me that it should not be inside of us. Listen to your bodies...they really do speak to you and let you know when something is not right. Forget about the DR saying it is safe or he has not heard of any of these side effects...YOU be the judge.
Good luck! And I promise it gets better once you get that lil' demon out!

I believe Zyrtec to be the source of my leg problems. For the last few years I've had problems with my legs at night before bedtime. The doctors I've seen regarding this condition assumed it was restlesslegs syndrome, but I stopped taking the zyrtec and noticed an immediate relief with my leg pain at night. I'm in the process of switching to another allergy medicine to see if this will alliviate the problem. Never noticed any depression problems though.

Had prostrate infection. Urologist put me on Levaquin for 30 days. Told all my urinary problems would go away. I am 64 with some other non-related health problems and I take other RX's. By day 20 I was gretting pains in my lower right leg at night. Had difficulty in sleeping with that pain, it get severe by morning. Took sleeping pill (Ambien) and Loritab to sleep. Found I could decrease pain by putting two pillows under my legs at the kneee joint point. Was able to get sleep. When RX ran out I didn't refill right away. Even went to quick care and they gave me a muscle relaxer. That did nothing.Pain took 4-5 days to stop. Called Doc (ending up talking to office staff) and told them the results were not as advertised. They said to refill and take for another 10 days and they made me an appointment. Did not mention (my fault) my leg problems as I wasn't sure the RX was the problem. Started taking drug again three days ago. This muscle pain in leg started again. Previously I tried heating pad and a strong vibrator without success. This morning I decided to search WEB and found this great place. Will not take any more of the drug. Will ask Doc what else is avbailable. I hear taking Antibiotics for too long can make you immune to them. Of course I am forgetting the pain of getting another exam from the Doc...you guys know...it feels like his finger is a telephone pole.

I have been taking the advair diskus 100/50 for two years, and I also thought it was my miracle drug. I can breath great , and only take my inhaler a lot less. I also have hoarseness, due to the advair, but recently was told by my doctor I have a mild heart murmur. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do, maybe talk with them on what else I could take instead of Advair. It's hard only because my breathing has been so good, but my heart is also very important. I have not had any leg problems, I have had some problems sleeping, not to bad.
