I am a 49 year old female I took Cymbalta for 3 days and on the 4th morning I woke up with severe blurred vision and roaring in my ears that was April 26,2008. My ears are still ringing. I clenched my teeth so hard in my sleep I traumatized one of my upper molars which resulted in a root canal and crown. I have been to a ENT to have my ears checked, he said I had minimal hearing loss and gave me lipo flavonoid to take for the ringing. I just went to a neurologist today who is requesting an MRI on my brain to rule out a tumor. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not ,I know the clenching caused the damage to my tooth. The neurologist said ringing in the ears is not a side effect of Cymbalta. My life has been a nightmare since I took it.

I've been on Warfarin since Feb/04. I had 2 blood clots form in my leg and traveled in my lung and was dignosed with APS. At first I was on 12mg a day for about a year, now I am regulated at 10mg a day. For the last 2 months my INR count has been high (blood too thin) and was on 5 mg for 2 days in July/07 and then back to 10mg. This month Aug/07 my dr took me off my meds for 2 days, then back on reg 10mg. I will go back and check my INR in a few weeks.
I haven't experienced hair loss, but I have experienced migraines, weight gain (a lot!), blurred vision, black out with vision, and slight memory loss. And I am only 40 yrs old. Just wondering if you or anyone else has experienced any of these side effects.

I just want to say 'thank you' to Guest 27984, for having something GOOD to say about Effexor as there are people who really need some serious help in their lives and times in a lot of lives when a little help is needed for a shorter period. I found Effexor extremely helpful after a ghastly personal tragedy but have also found it bloody irritating to ween myself off. I have the lightheadness and a stiff, floaty eye experience....is the best way I can describe it... I keep trying to come off it and find the results of that worse...perhaps 'cold turkey' is the way to go..........

I am a 43 year old female with mitral valve prolopse.
My cardiologist prescribed toprol 25mg.
After 3 months I begin to experience lightheadness
and bouts with panic attacks and extreme slowed heart rate.
I've had all caradic tests(nuclear test, stress test, no valve damaged, or blockage)
My heart rate slowed up so much, I began to sweat. Went to emergency room 4 times in 1 week. Chest x-rays perfect,
I will try 12.5 mg of tablet and see how this works..
If no changes I am requesting to take something else..

Hi,
I was takin Ovcon (BC) pill and was having headaches, fatigue, lightheadness, and chest pain. My doctors have switched me to Yasmin. I have not began to take it yet. I was just wondering if I will expereince the same side effects? The doctors told me Yasmin had the lowes side effects of all BC.

I have been taking Xanax for mod. anxiety for about 5 months usually only .125 mg twice a day and I seem to experience lightheadness when I miss a dose> Is this normal on such a small amount? it seems the lightheadedness is making me more anxious and I'm just trying to figure out if the Xanax is causing this

Nothing new really...same lump in the throat, same hacking cough, same switch from Zestril 10mg to Lisinopril 5 mg, same lightheadness, feeling of being overall faint, chest pressure and pain under ribs and in arms. I did not take the dosage last night. Today was the first day I felt decent in three or four weeks. You can be sure that was the last pill I'll take of that.

Cant seem to get up too quick ,like lightheadness ,almost like im going to black out.Why would any one put you on medication to help one problem, & cause so my others? I dont understand . I was prescribed Levaquin for 20 days for a chronic sinus infection that my specialist and I believe I had for over a year. The drug worked like a charm and I had no side effects except a little stomach discomfort the first night. Unfortunately, after a month or so the infection returned. Again I was prescribed Levaquin. This time, after a week on it, I had major side effects; thrush, diarreha, lightheadness and an achy feeling. I called my doctor, and although he was reluctant to change it since it worked so well the first time, he told me to stop taking it. When the diarrhea stops I will be prescribed something else. My theory is that there is nothing inherently bad about Levaquin. But I believe it was meant to be prescribed only for severe infections. That is why it worked so well for me the first time, but it is clearly overkill for this second infection I developed. The fact it is availible as an IV should tell doctors that it is a serious drug to be reserved for the most serious of cases.

Paxil caused weight gain, lightheadness, vertigo, weird felling of not been all there, like a fuzz when out, was perscribed Paxil for Anxiety and panic attack but I stoppped cold turkey. this caused my blood pressure to rise really high , also a racing pulse, am weaning off after told by doc to get back on a see if it had an effect on blood pressure and pulse, it has lowered my blood pressure and pulse but i feel terrible with the side effects, can't wait till I get off and find something that workes for me, Xanax does by they don't llike to prescribe it for very long.

I'm 46 and have been taking Advair for 7 years and I'm amazed at all of the side effects I've noticed of Advair that I've never had before. Asthma aside, I've always been healthy, moderately active and eat healthy yet noticed over the last couple of years I constantly feel like a puff ball from water retention and bloating - it's awful. My eyesight is worse, blurry and dry eyes. Constant muscle and joint pain, occasional dizziness and lightheadness, mood swings, just about everything . I've also noticed a decrease in libido and an increase in blood pressure. Does anyone have experience with a better replacement for it that I can discuss with my physician that does not cause any additional side effects from switching from Advair to a different long-term inhaler?
