I am 26 years old and my husband and I have 4 common children and we are currently raising his son from his first marriage so I have 5 children at home. after the birth fo my first child in 1998, I suffered a severe panic attack that came out of nowhere, I rushed to the emergency room thinking i was dying, and for 5 years after that i suffered and lived with major deppression and severe anxiety. I literaly thought i was dying everyday of my life, my file at the doctors office was really getting thick from all my visits. Finally in 2004 for the sake fo my children I agreed to take medication and my doctor put me on zoloft I started at 100mg. and slowly increased to 200mg. I was on it for a year and for the first time in 5 years I felt good, I didnt' think about dying , my patience with my children increased I was a new person, unfortunatley I had a substantial weight gain so I requested to try a different medication so they switched me to wellbutrin 400mg my appetite has decreased but my anxiety has increased not to the point it was before i had any help but it definatley isn't as controlled as when i was on the zoloft.
I think zoloft is excellent for anxiety but it didn't work for my severe p.m.s.

I have taken lipitor, first 20 mg for maybe a year, then a cardiologist put me on 40 mg several months ago. Tonight i awoke with intense pain in the muscles and joints of both my arms, to the point where I was aware of it while dreaming, andto where it woke me from sleep. The best description I can give is that it feels as if I worked out with very heavy weights today and now I am feeling the sort of pain associated with overdoing it the first time out. I have taken two tylenol and will call my doctor in the morning. Fortunately she is a doctor I used to have, who had me on a lower dose, and I think she will be at least open to the possibility of this being related to the lipitor. Whether she does or not, I'm stopping the use of it now. Many of the other symptoms listed here now make sense to me: stiff neck, irritability, trouble remembering things. I thought these things were just natural occurrances, but this extreme pain in the large muscles and joints of both arms, literaly out of nowhere, leads me to believe that this drug is doing me harm.

Hello all,
I too have experienced horrible side effects from Yasmin. I have been on other bcp's in the past and never had such a negative experience. I started on Yasmin after the birth of my second child and was just assuming the stress of a newborn was resulting in my crying for no apparent reason and mood swings. However I was fine for the first few months postpartum before I started the pill. I feel extremely moody, have persistent crying spells, and have literaly stopped sleeping. I am so glad to know this is not imagined and that I am not alone.

I took Levaquin for UTI after the first 7 days my body was very sore, I thought is was from the UTI. The UTI went away but came back 4 days later. Again I took the Levaquin 2 days in my body hurt really bad but I kept taking the Leviquin by the end of 7 days of a 30 day supply I could hardly walk. I could not get up or down stairs without help, I had numb arms, I could not even open a bottle of water. There was to many other things wrong with my body to name. My doctor said chances are it was not the Laviquin. To any one who will listen to me STOP taking this medicine NOW!!!! I felt like I was dying. My life and enegy was literaly being sucked out of me. I took about 2 weeks for me to walk good enough to go to work and it is now about 6 months and I am still tired and and weak sometimes. I was 41 and a very strong and heathly man. I am not alergic to anything. This is not an alergic reaction this was leagally being poisoned by the drug company who makes this stuff.
Again I say STOP TAKING THIS DRUG !!!
YOUR LIFE AND HEATH DEPEND ON IT.
If we don't warn people who will?
There are other durgs we can take.

I Started taking BCP after my 3rd child was born in April, I am on my 5th pack of Loestrin 24fe. The first 2 packs I really thought I was pregnant again! Morning sickness, and my periods were literaly 1 spot of brown and that was it!! Now that I am on my 5th pack I have technically had only 1 period on these pills and that was around the 1st of Sept. I am one week into this new pack and never even spotted during my "brown dummy pills"! Anyone else not having periods on this pill? I am concerned that this is not healty, God gave us a period for a reason right???? Is it not necessary or do you think this is okay? Very concerned bcause I do not want to get pregnant right now but do not want to be unhealthy either...PS I have not taken any birth control since 1998 so I don't even really know what's available now days!!
