Never really having stuck with any other type of birth control before, I started using the NuvaRing about 6 months prior to my wedding. I had consulted my Dr. about it asking what would be ok for me knowing I am forgetful and didnt want to take the pill everyday. He said the NuvaRing was my best option and proceeded to tell me some of the pros and cons about it. As a very persistant bride, I didnt really listen, just said "Great, sign me up!". Well the months go on and I never really had the urge to be with my soon to be husband, I just assumed it was because I was too involved with the wedding plans and everything else. The wedding day comes, everything perfect as I wished, then there was the night of the wedding... NOT everything I wished, I was "tierd", but I did what your supposed to do the night of your wedding and got practically nothing out of it. The entire week of the honeymoon, I bet we had sex MAYBE 5 times, 5 times!!! Thats how much you should be having in one day on your honeymoon. I just ignored it and figured it was the sun and alcohol, big mistake! We have now been married 6 weeks and probably have sex twice a week if we are lucky. My sweet new husband has been very good about this, any other guy would probably kill their wife by now for this. Finally, our solution, one of my best friends who is a nurse was listening to me wine a complain about all of this. I mean, what girl who loves their husband and is attracted to him wants to have no sexual desire, not me! So after she finishes listening to me, she starts to tell me all of the horrible things she has heard about the NuvaRing, she in fact was about to start on it before she heard all of the negative symptoms. She has heard of many relationships falling apart due to this "oh so wonderful" birthcontrol. In fact, some people have said they used to have sex 5 to 6 times a week and once they started this it went down to maybe once or twice! Not how I want to live my life or marriage. I suggest to all of you out there that are either researching the NuvaRing or have been on it, DONT DO IT!

Well, I have been off B/C for about 8 months now. I was on B/C for about 7 years before that. I always had crazy mood swings and felt depressed certain times of the month. Ever since I went off B/C, I have not had one single anxiety attack and have felt wonderful. My friend told me about NuvaRing and how she really liked it. I decided to give it a shot. I just put it in on Saturday. Today, Monday, I felt horrible. I went to bed with a headache and could not sleep. I woke up this morning and I was extremely bloated. I could not understand why I was bloated because I didn't eat much yesterday. I had/have the worst headache I have had in a very long time and my breast are extremely sore. I thought I might be coming down with something, so I took 1/2 day off work and came home. It just popped in my head that there may be some side effects w/ the ring. I found this website and now I know what is wrong with me. I just took the ring out.... I may not have given it a fair chance, but I cannot live my life like this every day. It's not worth it!

I take 3600 MG/Day to help with an indiopatic neuropathy on both legs. It does work very well and I am more or less able to live my life except for the side effects which are memory loss (I now write everything down) and sleepless nights. Please check the neuropathy.org site and try to create a support group in your area

Hi Sarah

I was hoping the Lexapro would reduce the anxiety and the tingling would diminish no such luck yet. Iam only taking 1/2 tab oLexapro each day low dose so Iam only on pill 5 maybe its too soon Dejay felt back to normal on her 3rd week Iamon my 2nd and running out of patience

I was at the earlymenopause.com site and i have alot of the symptoms there although my hormone levels are as I said where they were a year ago so Iam all confused on whats causing my symptoms

Is it the anxiety is it the hormonesI dont know
If my hormone levels are low but what they were a year ago and a year ago I didnt have this than I attribute it to anxiety

Which Iam waiting for the Lexapro to get rid of

So furstrating!!!!!!!!!

I was prescribed Levaquin for an upper respiratory infection this year. After taking the medicine as prescibed, my lymph nodes became extremely enlarged. My tonsils were removed when I was 17, yet my throat remains swollen together. I have a metal taste in my mouth. I have no energy. I went back to the doctor for more blood work and was told that I had chronic recurring mono. I have never had mono. I have not taken this drug in about one month. My feet and legs ache so badly that I can hardly walk. I have not been able to sleep through the night. I feel so out of it like I am going through motions of living, but that I am absent, somehow. I have patchy dry skin, which I have never experienced before. I could really identify with the person who said they feel they were hit by a truck. It is impossible to sleep through the night, yet you can't sit up. Do these symptoms subside? I read on here that someone is still having these symptoms three years later. I am not able to live my life. I go to the grocery store and I have to come home and lie down. My energy level is so low that it is affecting every aspect of my life. I had two prescriptions of Levaquin this year. I never knew of the side effects. Why was there no warning. I would have never taken this drug, had I known the consequences. The pain that I am experiencing is not alleviated by any pain medication I have tried. My throat is so swollen that it chokes me at night. My glands remain enlarged and I feel as though my spleen is enlarged. There is no where I do not hurt. I feel so "out of it" that it is hard to drive anywhere or complete any task. Does anyone know if there is a cure for these things?

Hi, I've been taking Wellbutrin XL for about 2 weeks. I am less tired and hungry but I am still depressed. I still cry at the drop of a hat. I have had wierd dreams, not nightmares exactly but just wierd. my knees ache and so do my shins. I hope this helps someone else. I am hoping that once the meds kick in my depression will lessen and I can live my life to the fullest.

This is the greatest thing to ever happen to me. Concerta helps me focus in school and helps me keep my priorities (and school folders) in order. It's true you do loose your appetite while on it. But who out there could die from not supersizing your lunch meals? Also you don't sleep as much if you take it in the afternoon or evening. But other than that, this medicine has redefined how I live my life.
