Lubricants symptoms and conditions

I WAS ON YAZ, WELL THE GENERIC BRAND OCELLA, FOR THREE MONTHS AND IMMEDIATELY NOTICED MY SEX DRIVE WAS GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS BEEN ABOUT ONE MONTH AND IM STILL TRYING TO REGAIN IT...IM BUYING TOYS..LUBRICANTS,,,FANTASIZING WHATEVER I CAN DO AND ITS STILL NOT FULL THERE...IM ONLY FREAKING 24! THIS IS CRAZY. NEVER TAKING BC AGAIN...ANYTHING THATS UNNATURAL IS NOT GOOD FOR YOUR BODY, MY OLD-FASHIONED MOTHER WAS RIGHT!

I was on the ring for about 2 months and not going back again. I had never used BC and the thought of taking a pill everyday at the same time was not for me. The reason why i'm stopping is because of the terrible emotional roller coaster, bad headaches and chest pains that feel as if someone kicked and left me bruised. I got married 2 weeks ago and this has made a big impact on me because i have been crying so much and my husband is very concerned because that is not me. Also...... Never have we ever needed to use Lubricants and now it's on our night table. My sex drive has gone from 10 to 0...NO LIE. I don't like putting my personal things out there, but if there is someone thinking about the ring,do enough research. Every body is different, but no more ring for me. I'll be looking forward to going back to myself......

I have been on Yasmin for about a year. I have had to start taking it before I go to bed because if i take it during the day, I get severe headaches and extremely nauseous. I also have been having a problem with vaginal dryness. I almost do not want to have sex anymore...no lubricants help. It is so dry that it seems to soak the lube right up and i have to constantly reapply it. Also, I am often moody and/or depressed. I had a three month period where i had to stop taking it because i was in a car accident that resulted in a broken leg and me being put on bed rest so the doctors did not want to take any chances with blood clots aided by my inactivity. Since I have been on it again, i noticed a return of all these symptoms plus i have been noticing loss of hair. And i mean extreme. I get out of the shower and i have to clean the drain so the water can drain...i shed so much hair the tub backs up!
Is this common with any pill or is it just this one? HELP!

I have been off of it for 2 months now. I think that I am back to normal-at least mood and libido wise. I had a long very light period last week tho-it lasted 6 days, but after that-I've been able to actually enjoy sex.

On a dif note--from a different comment, while on Loestrin had 3 yeast infections in 5 weeks. I would have sex, get one, then have to take the med which was 30 bucks w/insurance-ridiculous. Then when it was safe to have sex again-it came back. I had to finally use the cream longer and prescription pills and my husband had to get checked-which he was less than thrilled for-but he was fine, it was all me. I think it was from the dryness and all the different lubricants I was using to attempt a normal sex life.

One year ago I took Vagistat-3 at night and had a terrible reaction. At 2:00am I woke up on fire. My vaginal hole opening was swollen shut, and red intense pain all around my vulvar area. I rinsed it out, and my gyn called in some tx treatment for bacterial infection, then Vandazole, then Lidocaine HCI3%-Hydrocortisne Acetate, antihistimenes, calcium, zinc, Vitamin D, and I still suffer painful vulvar pain to a point of no intercourse for over 6 months. The pain upon entry is unbearable even with lubricants. To insert a tampon would be impossible. If anyone knows where I should go next, please advise. All vaginal test come back negative for yeast or bacterial infections.

I started taking Yasmin a year ago to help control my acne which the dermatologist described as adult acne or hormonal acne. It worked and cleared it up. Since then I have gone off of it twice, but the acne returns, so I go back on it. I went to the regular doctor this past week, and he diagnosed me with depression. The depression symptoms started around the same time I was put on yasmin. Could they be linked? I don't want to go off of it because my acne will come up, but it seems to have totally changed my personality. Thoughts??

In response to the woman complaining about painful intercourse: I just went off Yasmin after about a year and a half. During that time, sex became so painful that I dreaded having it. The lack of lubrication left me always feeling raw and like I was developing a yeast infection. Store-bought lubricants didn't really help, either. I've been off the pill for 2 weeks now, and everything is TOTALLY back to normal. I was starting to despair, thinking there was something wrong with me, and that my sex life would never be the same. Now, I am SO RELEIVED. I also had some of the emotional side effects that others have mentioned here, and all of them are going away. I actually feel like me for the first time in a long time. I never suspected that my BCP was responsible --I'll definitely think twice about ever going on one again.

I had an extreme reaction to Rosets. It felt as if someone had putting acid or a burning pepper spray into my eyes. The pain lasted all evening and continues to be uncomfortable (although better) the next day. Both eyes were affected and there was extreme redness. My eyelids were also puffy and the burning sensation was also in my nose. The redness was also there the next day, although less so. My doctor suggested flooding my eyes with sterile eye lubricants and taking pain medicine. I did this and while it eased the pain symptoms some, discomfort was very high.
