This site has opened my eyes to what YASMIN did to me. I no longer take Yasmin after severe mood swings, aggression, paranoia, pain in my legs, pins and needles (numbness) in my fingers and toes, crying with no reason, suicidal thoughts and headaches which I never used to have before. These symptoms were so out of character for me that my soon to be husband and I recognized that this must be the PILL!! How right were we, since I have stopped taking it all symptoms have GONE!!! I was one crazy woman on this poison! It made me loose myself. Thank God my beautiful man stood by me through all the manic behavior. (my husband advises you to stop it as well, if you are feeling like this) Some women may find Yasmin is fine for them, but not ME.
Peace to you all xxxxxxx

Within 5 days of beginning course of Geodon, 40mg daily, doc doubled my dosage to 80mg, began to have problems. Intensely manic, easily frightened, insomnia, terrifying dreams. I decided to get out of hospital ASAP and decide if to quit taking Geodon.
On day six already my face was twitching, was irritable and manic, pacing, increasingly manic throughout day, decided to skip evening dose, keep total dosage same as before, 40mg. Began tripping around midnight and it was all downhill from there. Sleepless all night, by morning I had convulsions, increased heart rate, fear and anxiety, psychosis, uncontrollable crying. Had another seizure 12 hours later. Slept a little with help of Valium. Next day developed Parkinson's like symptoms, had my father not been there to help me, Lord knows what would have happened to me. Still awake in day 3 of withdrawal. Hoping the worst is over.

I must be severely allergic to this drug because I think I had every side effect known to man. First the depression came, then disorientation, manic behavior, loss of appetite, insomnia, nightmares, vomiting, becoming a different person, paranoid, crying, confusion, basic emotional freefall. Then I started convulsing, so I rushed myself to the ER. I also broke out all over my chest, and my head was bloated and red too. Of course the ER acted like Biaxin couldn't cause this, so I didn't find out it was Biaxin until I went online and found other sites with other patient reviews. Such a horrible experience and drug. It rendered me incapable of doing my job and school. Never again.
