My husband was prescribed 600 mg of Wellbutrin xl. He went into a psychosis. He lost touch with reality, was very agitated, had mixed episodes of mania and depression at the same time, couldn't sleep, he was having hallucinations- thought people were there that were not, heard a womans voice, thought we were penniless, thought I was talking to other men- usually he is very secure, not a jealous person. His head was shaking like he had Parkinson's disease, he had no motor skills. His Dr. told me to call if he went into Mania. I did not know that mania could go into psychosis. This all happened to him during the Christmas holidays and | could not reach the Dr. My husband lost touch w/ reality and broke the law and is now in jail. Please if you take this med, educate your loved ones of these possible side affects and about bipolar. I wish I knew then, what I know now. I also know now that 600mg is twice what the normal dosage and 450mg is the max anyone should take.

I was on Lipitor 6 yrs. ago for approximately 6 months. The pain and weakness in my arms and shoulders was unbearable. Deep pain that felt like it went right to the bone. On occasion since then I seem to have flair ups. This past week I have been in pain. The strength in my arms is diminished. Has anyone else had this experience?

I started taking Topamax Jan 07 while weaning off of Dilantin (for seizures) after brain tumor removal. Been having tingling in fingers and lips and I'm not yet up to full dosage (100 m.g. 2 x day). Memory Loss, about 20-30 minute attention span. After reaching and maintaining the maximum dosage I may report changes.

Hi everyone...
When I first heard of Nuvaring I thought it was a great idea. Except, the second month after I started using it I started to get flu like symptoms around my period.
I took out the ring last night and right now I have the chills, sweats, my throat is sore and scratchy and I ache all over. I had such bad abdominal pain that I was curled up in my bed sweating and popping the maximum dosage of tylenol allowed. Normally I would attribute this kind of thing to a poor immune system and the flu, but I rarely got sick before I started the ring.
I have been looking up side effects on other sites and have noticed that upper respiratory tract infections are common with this drug. From what I can tell I have all the classic sx of such an infection.
I have decided to go off the ring to see if these symptoms clear up or if they return in the same monthly pattern.
Also, my sex drive has dried up completely.
I'll check back on this site to see if anyone has had some of the same symptoms that I am experiencing.

Not sure how to respond to you but I am doing so through here.
I have adapted to the ataxia (what I call walking into walls), tiredness, some short term memory loss etc. I still have some of them and I have been on it for a year, maximum dosage 1800 mgs. Now I am on 900 mgs. I guess I want to get off because I cannot stand the "hypoglycemic" feeling I get from it. Feeling weak and hungry, also I have gained weight on Neurontin. All along I have never really "believed" that there was such a thing as Atypical Facial Pain but as I come down off the drugs wierd things happen. My neck begins to hurt me is the one side effect of lowering the dosgage of Neurontin.

Was on Prednisone for 11 days for an injury to my neck. I knew nothing about the drug except what my doctor told me that it would reduce inflammation in my neck and help with pain.
Well, it did nothing for the injury and pain in my neck. BUT.... I had HORRIBLE menstrual cramps and got my period 8 days early. I've had my period for 9 days now AND terrible pain in my upper left leg. I thought the pain was related to my leg and as the days went by I realized it was in my left hip! It's so bad I can't lift my leg without extreme pain. I KNOW IT'S FROM this awful drug.
I've been off of it for 4 days and the pain is still with me. I called my family dr. and was told Prednisone doesn't do that. BULL!! The paperwork I got with it from the pharmacy show "Changes in menstrual periods" "muscle/joint pain" "bone pain".
I wish I knew this BEFORE I ever took it.
Does anyone know if these symptoms and problems will go away after stopping it? I called the pharmacy and was told it will take 2-3 weeks for it to get out of my system!!
Has anyone had problems that eventually went away after stopping the drug?
Thanks and I hope everyone else is okay soon! This drug should be off the market. I received no help for my neck pain at all!!
