Mistake in entry saying 'occaisional use of Salmeterol reliever'- potentially fatal to use Salmeterol this way- meant to say ' salBUTAmol reliever'. Xinafoate and steroid combination far worse than the asthma on its own.

Oh... no I don't think Atenolol has any diuretic effects. You'd have to add another drug for that, but there are plenty of simple old-fashioned ones that work just fine and just for that. I meant to say I'm on 25mg of Atenolol -- not 24. Wow, your symptoms sound awful. My doctor wanted to increase me to 10mg/day! No way!!! Does anyone know of an ACE inhibitor for MR (Mitral regurgitation) that doesn't have the Lisinopril side effects?

I meant to say that "ocular" and nasal steroids can become systemic if taken for long periods of time. Of course, oral steroids *are* systemic. Duh!
